hi,I'm using older version Camera Raw (12.2.1) because I am more comfortable working in this version. But this version not supported NEF from Nikon Z6 II. Trehe is a any wa to force 12.2.1 to opening this NEF?(Of course, apart from converting to DNG). Thx, best regards.
Tengo un imac 27 de 2020 su tarjeta es compatible con metal, pero camera raw dice que no. Hasta la ultima actualización funcionaba todo, ahora no va photoshop y camara raw no me reconoce la tarjeta.Un desastre
PSE2021 says it is up to date. But it's Camera RAW plugin is 13.0.0.612. Adobe site says 13.2 is available. So how to get it? Creative Cloud auto update is greyed out. Uninstalled and reinstalled both Creative Cloud and PSE but no change. Baffled....any help please?
Consistently repeatable crash in ACR 13.2.0.738 /PS 22.3 on Mac Pro 5,1; 10.14.6; GPU RX580 when using 'enhance'.Opening NEF files Nikon from Nikon D500 in ACR - when I choose 'enhance' from the 3 dots on the right the enhance window opens. When I click to see with/without enhance I see little or no difference. If I wait the Mac sometimes crashes. If I click 'super resolution' then it always crashes the Mac, sometimes instantly, sometimes only after 20 seconds or so. It has never completed the process. When the Mac crashes it's an instant total crash - a click and a black screen. As far as I can tell (but I'm no expert) it's too instantaneous to write anything to a crash log.I've tried deleting preferences, turning off openCL, turning off GPU in ACR & PS individually and both off, set drawing mode to basic, changed the scratch disks. None of these make any difference.I've attached the latest camera raw log but I don't think it helps.Any thoughts anyone?
After some times (several months) once I get new version of Camera Raw plugin 13.1 I observed that when I process my images in LrC required a lot sharpening and contrast adjusting. First times I thought that was the quality of original photo, therefor I try more attention when I take the photo (light condition, camera settings). So, after some period of times I observed that doesn't meter if the photo are near to ideal. The I compared to original software from Olympus (Olympus Workspace) and I found a huge difference between sharpest, contrast and fine details. There are difference in colours, but I understand this as each application has its "colour space" - the technics how the colours are recovered and processed by application. The samples of crop from applications:Crop from LrC Develop space. 100 % crop, 1:1 Crop from Olympus Workspace. 100 % crop, 1:1 The samples of JPEG files generated by applications:Crop from Windows 10 Photos application of jpeg file generated by
Looking for a solution. I'm a long-time PS end-user, Windows (Windows 10 now). I recently purchased a Canon 90D. I'm not able to open CR3 files. I'm also using 13.2 CR. I have no issues opening any other RAW files. The error message is; Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document.
I need to reset the sliders in the detail sub panel. they are coming up with sharpening and noise reduction that is way too high. I can't find the Camera Raw Settings menu icon. Is there another path to reset the detail menu to zero?
Hello, I am running an old version of CS5 on one of my machines. I need to be able to open .nef files from my Nikon D800 and cannot do so with the base install that I have. I have scoured the adobe.com domain for links to this old version but all the links are dead. Can somone please provide me with a location where I can the windows version download of ACR 6.7.1? Things were working fine until I migrated to a new machine and re-installed CS5. Thank you.
HelloI have the problem for quite some time that in Photoshop the newer versions of CameraRaw do not open images, which means that the process aborts with an error message. So far I managed to solve this problem by installing a 9.x version of CameraRaw. With the 2020 version of CreativeSuite this does not work anymore. I can probably edit the images in Photoshop with a 11.x version of CameraRaw, Bridge doesn't show previews anymore. Bridge does this with the latest version of CameraRaw, but then I can't edit photos in Photoshop anymore. I have tried pretty much all the solutions from the Adobe support site, but nothing helped. How do I fix this extremely tedious problem. You can't work like that.
I know that DNG is based on the TIF file format, and that in a DNG file the main IFD typically contains a low resolution preview image, while a sub-IFD contains the actual full resolution raw image. I'm writing my own software that will generate test images in DNG format, and I was wondering if for the sake of keeping things as simple as possible, if it would be possible to make a valid DNG file with no preview image, and no sub-IFD, and instead store the raw image in the main IFD? Would such a configuration be a valid DNG file? Or would that violate the DNG specification?
Whenever I make an edit to a RAW photo in Bridge, even something simple like rating it or rotating it, it generates an XMP file next to the original photo in the source folder. The original is not merged with the XMP file, i.e. the original photo in its folder will not show any edits or being rotated, only in Bridge. I've tried going to Edit > Camera raw preferences > File handling and changing the sidecar settings to each 'Embed xmp in dng' and 'Ignore sidecar files' but I still have the same problem. Anyone else experience this?
I downgraded Bridge to 2020 for the Camera RAW 12.2.1 version. I no longer have the option to "open files in Camera Raw" from Bridge. In bridge, Camera RAW shows up as a filter option ??? I am able to open Camera Raw directly from Photoshop 2021 but trying to get it to play nicely with Bridge again. Anyone?
Has anyone solved this problem? Since the latest Raw update, we have lost the ability to preview the adjustment brush, graduated filter and radial filter. I am not talking about previewing all changes made on all other panels - just the ability to preview these individually. We have that ability with the editing panels, but no longer with the above tools. This makes it hard to just see the changes you have made with any of these tools alone.
When will Adobe fix the Camera Raw crop tool? The current one forces the user to position the image within the crop, rather than the crop framing the area within the image. It's a clunky design, especially since other Adobe (PS/LR) programs have a crop tool that does the traditional style framing, so why not ACR?
in mobile work, i use a windows laptop to edit my photos. It has a 14 "monitor and the camera raw window is opened so large that I cannot reach all buttons. I cannot drag the window smaller at the corners with the mouse button pressed. Is there a way to convert the Camera Raw window into a 14" To fit monitor? Thank you
Hi there, any idea when Camera Raw will be updated to support raw files from the new Pentax K-3 iii camera? At the moment it says "files not supported by Lightroom" and it I have the latest versions of both Lightroom and Camera Raw installed.
Using Camera RAW Ver 11.02.123 (and several previous versions as well) in Windows 10 Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042, whilst editing images, the location of the images on the preview portion of the screen inconsistently changes from image to image, predominantly moving it down to the right about 20% of the image, so I often have to press Ctrl+0 to centre it on the screen. This gets very tedioius if I'm editing a batch of images...I know I'm not missing a setting or anything like that, I just wonder if it's the same for everyone else and they're just ignoring it...?
HelloWhen I try to export a picture from Lightroom to Photoshop I get an error message :for full compatibility, this version of lightroom may require version 13.2 of the photoshop camera raw plug-in But I dont have acces to that update....Could you please help me ? Thank you
I cannot download the DNG converter: Supposedly available through Adobe Developer Console:https://console.adobe.io/servicesandapis. However all that shows at that URL is a completely blank page with a tab that says "Loading....|Adobe Developer Console" I am logged in with my Adobe account I have tried this with both Firefox and Chrome browsers on Win10. Have tried clearing cache, etc. Have tried at different times.
As you can see in the sreenshot. that's the screen I get. there are no other option. no cancel or open in photoshop nothing. I get this big screen. There is nothing on the bottom or on the top. Is this somekind of bug. I don;t understand. First time opning camera raw as any other adobe product you get getting started. And when i open it i got this big image and few lines and couldn't scroll. It was frozen i have to restart my photoshop when i open raw file this is what i got.
Some images are importing RAW but when I open it up in PS, it is automatically converting it from a CR3 file to a TIFF or JPG. I haven't changed anything...what am I doing wrong or where do I change that setting? I tried my settings in preferences and nothing.
