Buenas noches si me podrian colaborar, intento publicar proyecto de realidad sin exito y si deseo ver la vista previa para dispositivos moviles y generar el código QR no abre nada me dice que no hay conexión con el servidor si alguien me puede colaborar se lo agradezco mucho

Hello everyone!I didn't find an answer in the forums, so I really hope anyone can help me.I have three slides with a simple button each, that appears at the end of a video, assigned with just 1 point. This button just takes you to the next slide.If I press F9, I can see the 3 points in the advanced interaction. But when I preview the project, I cannot make those points to be assigned to the system variable cpQuizInfoPointsscored. It always shows 0 out of 3 points, and doesn't "pass" the test. I need this to be reported to an LMS.Those points are just a way to check that you saw the videos 'til the end. I've another quiz slides, but with no points assigned, just not necessary. I gave a try to Advanced Actions, but I didn't get any light, since I wasn't able to assign any number to the variable cpQuizInfoPointsscored. I also tried creating my own variable, but wasn't able to connect this variable with the pointsscored system variable.Leave a caption of the Advance Interaction panel with

Hello!I have a large project in breakpoint mode (desktop - tablet - smartphone), it consists of 4 different files.this project is exported as HTML and uploaded to our FTP server. i have not changed anything in the settings.So far everything went well, and suddenly (shortly before publication) individual buttons on my pages disappear. Example (view in browser): I am on page 5 in desktop mode and my back and forward buttons are there. I look at the same page on the tablet (breakpoint tablet) and the buttons are not there.This occurs in the different files on different pages and also changes when I re-export the file. Can anyone help me?

Whenever I preview the elearning module I can see interactions as they are but whenever I try to publish it, the published file doesnot show the interactions. It says its loading but it never loads and the other slide comes at the specified time. Kindly help!

Captivate has been pretty good for me in keeping audio and captioning synchronized - close enough that I haven't worried about the odd tenth of a second difference. My current project is driving me nuts. I have gone through the closed captioning editing process three times now and every time I have had a series of captions that have slipped significantly - 2-3 seconds in come cases, 1 second most commonly. This throws everything off until it doesn't and the captioning is back in synch with the audio. Yes, I am closing and saving the Captivate file between caption reviews, but that doesn't seem to help. I am copying/pasting my captions from an ASCII text file, so I can't blame any errant Word artifacts.  Anyone have an idea about how to keep Captivate captions locked to where they are supposed to be? Many thanks! Don

Buenos días, tengo una gran duda. ¿Alguien me puede ayudar diciéndome como se guarda el avance de slide en captivate?, es decir, si ya vi una animación de slide, que al volver no me muestre nuevamente la animación, sino a donde quedo, ósea el final desde el inicio no nuevamente desde el principio. Would be helpful if someone has a solution for me but I feel this is more of an issue with Captivate Smart Shapes in general. I love using Smart Shapes as buttons especially now you can have different states for Normal, Over and Down. The problem is that smart shapes when used as buttons shrink, which in some respects is good as it provides the user some type of visual feedback of interactivity and I think that was the intention when Smart Shapes as buttons were introduced. But here is the problem, If you position your cursor just on the edge of Smart Shape Button and click, the shape shrinks and is no longer under the cursor. When you release your mouse button any action that was attached to that button will not fire I would be happy for someone to point out to me a quick solution that I may be missing but I've not found any posts regarding this. This problem makes me review my principles of interface design when using Adobe Captivate and Smart Shapes as buttons to ensure that the use

I'm in a bit predicament an hoping someone in this community can help... I have inherited Captivate courses without the Captivate software. I have two courses in particular that are required to be completed by employees but they are not launching in our LMS, and all I have is the SCORM files. I was able to locate the working index_SCORM.html files among the extracted file contents; however, I do not know how to convert these html files into the workable, interactive courses that they were intended to be in another Content Development software.

I have several SCORM assessments uploaded to HealthStream LMS.  At the end of the SCORM, the score is showing as 100% but is being recorded totally differently on the LMS.  Right now I am still testing, but for example I got 100% and when I clicked the Continue button at the end it showed I got an 85% in the LMS.  I called HealthStream and they are saying I am doing something wrong in Captivate and this is not an LMS issue.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I have attached several screenshots to show what is happening.  

Hi guys,I know there's already a lot of discussion about this issue and a lot of tips on how to fix it, but literally, nothing helps. So, my problem is that I'm trying to publish the SoftWare Simulation on my computer, but it fails every time saying that "Please verify if any of the actionscript keywords is used as user variable name". That's actually funny, cuz there's no explanation which particular keywords are meant. I had a theory, that there's maybe an issue with OneDrive synchronization, and Captivate demands a local disk file only. As you guessed, I'd tried this variant too - didn't work either.Inference, there's probably a bug with the tool itself. Please, asking you to fix itThank you in advance!Have a good time!

Hi, Im using an updated version of Captivate 2019.All the slides in my project are set to pause on exit, so the end user is required to use the TOC or nav bar to roam the project at will. This works fine for us.What we would like to do is have a series of images on different slides loop fading in and out in the same position, even when the slide pauses at the end and waits for the user to navigate to another slide.Does anyone have any advice or a link to a solution?Thanks,Dan

Hi folks,I got an error report from my LMS provider, that there´s an "NaN" but instead there should be an number. The content does not contain any quizzes, only a non-scored drag&drop. The settings should be either to "slide visits", counting e.g. 28 of 29 or 90%. The main problem: I did not create the captivate files, they are from a supplier ...  Is there anything I can do with the exported files? And if not, what do I have to tell my supplier to do? Thanks in advance!

I see posts in the forum here regarding Captivate and Moodle - they appear to have the capability to co-exist.  Are there any issues to watch out for?Thanks to all who have helped me with my latest round of issues!

I am making a video where I want to show content from two screens, each with a different program that interact. I need to be able to change between the two screens. Unfortunately, if I record the two screens at once, Captivate puts the screens side-by-side, making the format a very broad one. The aspect ratio is locked, so when I try to zoom and pan, I get a window that's 32:9 or so. I am thinking that maybe the way to go is making two recordings, one of the actions in each program, and editing them to become one file afterwards. But I can't figure out how to import one Video Demo into another. It seems I can only import sound and images – not video or other Video Demo recordings.

HiI created a VR project using 360 video. Within the project, I added a Question hotspot with a multichoice question.The project works as intended in the beginning - the video started, the Question hotspot appears after a few seconds and the video stops. I click on the hotspot icon, the question popped up, I choose the correct answer and hit the submit button. The video then continues but after 2 secs stops - the Question hotspot illuminates again as if asking me to click on it again, but it already has a green tick next to it (as I already answered correctly). There is a navigation at the bottom of the window in which I can click 'Play' and the video resumes again but I do not like it. I would like the video to just continue after I hit the submit button the first time.  Has anyone else encouter this and can share how to solve this? Many thanks. 

Dear all,I have a project with a 360 slide in it.Whenever publishing it to my PC, this slide turns into a black slide showing only the 360° icon.What can I do to prevent this? I saw a few posts but I'm not too technical so I can't figure it out.We don't have Connect/Prime. Anybody can support me on this? Thx

Back in 2018 the client wanted to add a graded quiz to a Captivate 9 course.  Then they changed their mind and I removed the quiz.  Of course I could not delete the Quiz Results screen so I hid it.Now I am on v2017.  The client wants to reinstate the quiz. I was able to build the quiz but can't upgrade the Quiz Results to work right.  I assume it's because of the differing authoring versions.  I have a LOT of courses that need this treatment.  I summary, the questions were built in v2017 but the Quiz Result screen is left over from version 9.I've tried to make a new course in 2017 and then copied the new Quiz Results screen into the original course (remember, originally built with a quiz in version 9, removed the quiz questions, but the original Results screen is probably incompatible with 2017 quiz. Any suggestions?  Many thanks!  

I have a large project in german, which should now become english.When I change the texts in the quiz preferences like "correct - please click continue" oder "send" in the button nothing happens on the existing master or on my slides.When I insert a new master, it has the new texts. Is this an error? I would have to redo all pages now.Does anyone have a clue?  Many thanks!

I was abe to add the title slide so that it showed at the beginning of the my project. But, for the life of me, I cannot figure out where I inserted the slide so it showed at the beginning of the project. I am enclosing a picture that has the first slide showing. Hello, I have read the other posts about this problem but none seem to resolve the issue. When I try to open the program, it will begin to initialize (I see the start-up screen and the first 2 processes running in the bottom left corner) but then the screen disappears. No indication that the program is doing anything after that. I have tried running as administator, I restarted my computer, I reloaded the entire program. The icon on the tray does not show that it is open but I can see that it is "running" in Task Mgr. although not really consuming any resources. Any ideas? I need this to do my job. 

We have an eLearning module. The customers unfortunately also need a printable handout. I am able to save it as a Word document/handout. However, the formatting is not so great and needs some manual fixes when we save it as a word handout.Is there a way to save/output the Captivate project as a PPT or any other tip/cheat?Saving a PPT as a PDF is much cleaner.

Hello,I'm currently building a responsive training program. I have the font set to 14, but to go to a minimum of 10 and to have uniform text scaling. When I preview the project, I'm previewing in the full size (1024x627). The font seems like its really small on the attached image called Font Size. For comparison, I'm also attaching Font Size screen 2. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi All,I have been working on a screen simulation and until yesterday everything played back smoothly in the preview and also published.  Yesterday I made a couple of minor edits (replaced the audio on one slide (from Audacity), added a couple text captions, changed the font for several captions) and I started noticing skipping in the audio and video on a few slides (this happens in both preview and published). I have the filed saved in My Documents (not a network drive).  I have two versions (one with no skipping from 2 days ago (A) and one from yesterday with the skipping (B)), and have be playing with both trying to find the root cause.  On version A I tried to recreate the changes I made to B, pausing to watch after every change to find the cause.  It ended up being text captions I added to the bottom of half of the slides (simple text and says "Questions?  Contact ....").  Without this text the project plays fine.  Because verion B is more update

Hi, I have a question on my test which, if answered correctly will skip 2 subsequent questions (currently on following slides). I'd like the skipped questions to be considered correct as a result. Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks,David

My organization is looking at moving to Captivate from Articulate 360. Is there a way we can convert our courses created in Storyline 360 to Captivate so that we are able to update them when needed?
