I am using Adobe Captivate to create a course with output in SCORM format for an LMS. We’re encountering an issue where the option to make the screen fullscreen seems missing. We couldn't find such a feature while attempting to add a fullscreen button via the Skin Editor. Is there any way to include a fullscreen button?

I have recently downloaded Captivate on an M1 Mac and every time I try and open the Question Pool it crashes I have tried Adobe support but the AI bot is useless so I put my crash report into Co-Pilot and it gave me this. Everything is up to date, I feel that this is a useless piece of software and that I have been ripped of as it wil cost me the rest of the year's subscription to cancel it!!! The crash report for Adobe Captivate indicates that the application crashed due to an uncaught exception. Hello, I'm using adobe captivate version 12.4.0.20. I have slide videos on a total of about 10 slides. I don't want to use the playbar, visually, it doesn't fit with my design, and I just don't really like it. My videos are all setup the same way. I added 4 buttons, a next button, a pause button, a play button and a back button. For that one, I just added a bookmark at the start of the slide, and I ask the button to jump to the bookmark. My problem is that on some of the slides, when I hit preview and test it, the button doesn't jump to where my bookmark is, but at some other point on the video (around 10 seconds in)... Is there a problem with bookmarks? or is it a preview issue?

What is everyone using to manage all their Captivate 12 Files and associated files (audio, video, graphics, etc)?   We have had issues with Cloud Drives corrupting files, but we definitely need a way to collaborate on content creation.  We have had problems with OneDrive and GDrive.  I was thinking about using GitHub...  but I was curious what other folks might be doing to keep files properly organized and have some sensible version control.

Good day, all;  I am having an issue with HTML content from Captivate and I'm not sure there's anything I can do about it or, if there is, what that might be.  I created a Captivate lesson for my institution last year that was fairly straightforward. It had graphics, audio and a few questions which I built (rather than use the question feature). The lesson was exported as a SCORM package and no issues were encountered by any of the nearly 100 people who completed it.  For this year, however, the institution requested me to publish it as an HTML package as they wanted to offer it on the website (rather than within the LMS). I packaged it and sent it off as requested and while it functionally works, it got rejected by IT due to some issues as quoted below (from two separate emails to me)(red text added by me): The first, when I said there was nothing in the file (meaning I had added no links to external widgets, etc.): "However, the files you provided..

So I'm developing this course in Captivate, and for a section of the course, I need to create an accordion menu catalog of three subsections with four items each that corresponds to 12 different slides the user can navigate to. (Example below) I tried using the pre-made learning interaction, but as far as I can tell, you cannot set any actions within the text allowed in the contact area, and I need my text to link out to other slides. I looked into incorporating a Javascript interaction, but I don't know how to interact with the elements on my slide already or if its even worth it to set that up. When uploading to our organizations LMS, the title of the training is not showing.  I displays as "Index_SCO_Title".   Where do I change this in Captivate so that it displays correctly when uploaded to LMS? We are running ver. 12.2.0.19Project info is filled out,  Reporting is enabled, SCORM 2004, Course ID, Course Title, and SCO Title are all filled with the course title.  What am I am missing or not checking?Thanks! 

Which template allows for no scrolling to view the next button? I must scroll down to view the button when using specific image templates. However, some templates allow for a full-screen view without any scrolling. I've noticed that the button is visible without any scrolling. In the certified learning path videos, the instructors scroll down to view the unseen button at the bottom of the slide. Is this common?  My client wants to display it so the learner will not have to do additional actions.  Any suggestions? Thank you

Estoy montando un curso con varios scorms en Moodle, tengo un tema y luego meto el scorm dentro, pero me aparece una pestaña que quiero eliminar y no me lo permite, adjunto el ejemplo Y esta pestaña hace que el diseño no se vea completo en la pantalla y me mueva todo de sitio, más si se ve en una portatil, hay alguna forma de eliminar esa pestaña para que deje de moverme todo. Y por otro lado es correcto hacer un scorm por tema? es que se vuelve muy pesado.

I'm exploring Captivate and Captivate Classic to see if it will meet my needs. (I had to use Classic in order to import a Powerpoint presentation.) I have a pre-existing Fillable Form created in Acrobat Pro which contains javascript in one of the form fields. I would like to incorporate this form into an existing Captivate project while keeping my javascript formula intact. Is this possible? 

There is this where i need to perform some actions on reject of the interaction like showing some gif or sequence of images. Is possible do that or i need quit the captivate 😞

I've tried recording a software simulation as Training, Assessment and Demo and I am getting the same problem.  Once recorded, the pages and thumbnails on the left of Captivate are all blank, its not showing the software screenshots.  It does show the Captivate added e.g. "Select button" direction but there is nothing but white space.  When I preview the project, it shows as it should.  I've tried restarting and getting the same outcome over multiple days.  I am well used to the old version of Captivate.  Any ideas why its behaving like this and how to resolve? Its not actually usable right now. Screenshot below of my recording and one underneath is when its previewed ....   

Hello everyone, I'm using Captivate 2019 and am struggling to create an advanced action that does what I need. I hope that someone here who has more experience with advanced actions can help. Here is what I am trying to do: -establish a slide that will be like a "home" page, in the sense that the learner will return to it a few times throughout the training-on the home page, start by showing one image, which I will use as button-when the learner clicks the button, they are taken to a software simulation-at the end of the software simulation, they click a return button that jumps them back to the home page-when they return to the home page, the first button should show but now a second button should also show-the second button takes the learner through a second simulation; again, they return to the home page and a third button now displays My buttons are not displaying when I return to the home page after a simulation. Anyone experiencing strange behaviour with animations? I have attached a video showing what happens. When animating text, one line at a time, a problem occures where the animation delay time gets doubled. This is how to replicate the problem:1. Animate a line or two of text. Delay the animation by a few seconds.2. Enter the slide and the timing will be perfect.3. Move to the next slide, or go back a slide, end re-enter the slide with the animation again. You must do this before the slide (next or back) you navigated to ends.4. When returning to the slide, the delay of the animation has doubled. Please will someone test this and get back to me. I have tested it on several machines and have the same problem.

Can someone help with how to move around a button added to a blank slide to any corner of the slide as required? Drag and Drop does not work and can't seem to find any other option to do this. Am I missing something?   

Trying to load a PPT preentation into Captivate and continously getting a corrupt or using old version. Check the version and updates and they are current. Please see images provided for a clearer understanding of my issue. Thank you!

I'm using Adobe Captivate 12 and have a Table of Contents slide that serves as a branching one.  Users click the image blocks to visit other slides, then return to the Table of Contents.  Once all images are clicked, the Next button populates and the user can advance.Currently the images remain in the "Normal" state when the slide is revisited.  I am using variables to get the Next button to populate, so I was trying to use those same variables to change the state of the images to "Visited" after the user has already clicked on them.I don't see any way to do this in the Slide Interactions or Object Interactions. Has anyone figured out how to do this?  

Hi All, Really stuck here and hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.I have created a responsive HTML page which I have added as a web object to my Captivate project.  What I would like to do is call the Captivate JavaScript functions window.cpAPIInterface.....; from my HTML web object to advance the project to the next slide. This may sound unconventional but i am looking to give my project to look and feel of a website so i would have separate HTML web objects on each slide that would be linked through the Javascript calls, allowing the normal tracking of any Captivate project.Thanks

I am using Captivate Classic Version 11.8.3.8 on a Windows PC and recently the project file crashes regularly creating corrupted files (about once a week). I developed a habit of saving the poject as a new file everytime I am working on it so I am not losing too much work but for some reason, a crash leads to almost all previously saved files to be corrupted as well even though I was able to open them before. Moreover, the project is quite large (700 slides, 600MB) and simple copying/duplicating actions can take up to 10 minutes, seriously slowing down the workflow.I'd greatly appreciate some ideas what might cause that - is the project simply too large or could there be other issues with the program itself? Thanks!

HiThe height limit for a project in Captivate Classic is set to 3200.I wonder if its a way to increse this. Change a systemfile or something like that.This is not a thread where we discuss why, or talk about the weird offspring called All new captivate.Simply, is their a way to go beyond the project size limit in Captivate Classic
