There is no Logout option anywhere!  Help files suggest that the Home screen has "My Profile," "Help," and "Logout" hotlinks on the Home screen, but in fact there is no "Logout" option.  I've had to restart the computer to disconnect the session.  How do you logout?

Hello,I am trying to install adobe add in for my daughter who needs to do her SAT prep courses online, but I keep getting the error message, "couldn't write to the hard drive, verify hard drive and retry", and I did but no success, then the message said contact your IT administrator, which I have no idea who that is, can someone please help? thanks

Hi all,Has anyone had issues since the upgrade of this?I have made the recordings downloadable in all places thru the adobce connect admin area, but when using the desktop client evcewn though i am able to search for the file i am not however able to download it.The recording does appear in the download queue but does not initiate. This is just unacceptable.Part of the service is to be able to playback the meeting recordings and while i know i can do this online, it would also be useful to USE ADOBE'S PRODUCTS TO VIEW ADOBE'S BESPOKE RECORDINGS (Since they are not available in any other downloadable format, wouldn't midn so much if it just worked for once without issues.)Add this to the whole "Adobe Presenter - the worlds most unstable and bugged out piece of software ever" Come on Adobe, whats happening to your stuff?!?

How do I allow Participants to write on white board in Meeting?  Must they all be changed to presenters for this interaction?

We just started steaming seminars live from our conference room and have a small technical issue. Adobe Connect does not recognize the microphone of our Sony Handycam through the firewire port. The video works fine. Is there an updated driver or 3rd party piece of software that will enable the microphone to be seen by windows and Adobe Connect?

Hi,Is there a way to hide Adobe Connect server name in the web address?  This is internal Domain only.For example, if the AC server name is "ACserver", the address is shown as "ACsever.company.com".For security reasons, I want to hide the "ACserver", and use "meetingspace.company.com".  Also, can this be achieved with new meeting names on web address? thanks

We have GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar but we need an LMS to manage which courses someone has taken and which courses they need to take. Reporting quiz results is fine too. The pricing shown on the website is per host per 25 attendees. We have up to 1000 learners who may neveruse Adobe Connect to "meet" or participate in a webinar (we will likely continue to use G2W from Citrix for that). So, how does Adobe price it for just the LMS/course management/learner management functionality? Thank you.

When I set the Chat Pod notification option to "disable" (Preferences/Chat Pod), is that a local setting or will it disable the chat pod pop-up box for all participants?

I noticed that users created with the Adobe Connect API for my meeting/account are always listed in the Administration -> Users and Groups area.  Which probably means that a user's login is only valid for my meetings.  So if they wanted to register or join a meeting controlled by someone else, they would have to re-register or be re-created by that admin.  Is this correct?I'm trying to confirm this so that I know how to register a user on my website.  It would be ideal if my website would register the user and also log the user in without the user having to enter a separate password (my website would generate and store the password).  If the API creates a user only for my meetings then this is not a problem.  The user will just always have to go through my website to get to the meeting.  However, if the user created by my Adobe API account can be used to access/register in another person's meetings on Adobe then this approach is not so good because

I am using Adobe Captivate 4 still because I am developing content for Adobe Connect. My company is requiring that we all upgrade to Captivate 6. It won't work with Adobe Connect. Anyone out there know when Adobe is going to upgrade Adobe Connect to incorporate AS3 scripting so I that I can continue to use Captivate with Connect?

What is the difference between My Meetings folder on Home page on Adobe Connect Central and the My Meetings page when accessed from the Meetings menu item that appears on top of Adobe Connect Central .Thanks.

I'm a licensed meeting host and was demonstrating a meeting room this morning with two co-workers (another licensed host and a guest). To demo the guest admittance process, I logged out and tried to log back in as a guest but my admittance request pop-up box never showed up on their screens. After 30 seconds of waiting, I refreshed my browser and logged back in under my own account but Connect seemed to open up a parallel version of the same meeting room. I did not see my co-workers in the Attendee Pod nor did they see me in theirs. I could interact with the pods in my room and they could in theirs but we didn't see each others changes. After about 10 minutes the second licensed host reported that a graphic in a share pod had vanished and that the pod was completely filled with white. The guest, however, could still see that graphic but  a different pod had filled with white on his screen. Hello people,i have a big problem with Adobe Connect 8, yesterday i stayed in a meeting, the user's meeting are different country of Europe. When the first half hour pass the meeting automatily refresh it's the same you pressed F5 if you want refresh web site. But in this case i don't pressed anything and meeting refresh and refresh every time. I think the problem is the connection with other country and meeting need refresh every time but i think not sure.What is the problem, why refresh my adobe connect every 30 min??? And other problem one time all users disconnect meeting and reconnect whit her user and add user whit number 2, for example Marc and Marc2 jorma explain me the problem is the network, the disconnection with the server but my question is the problem is the server oh my network connection and user's connection????.Thanks for you helpGood ByeM

I signed on to past meetings on this computer as a guest. Now when I click the link to enter new meetings, I'm automatically entered as a guest, but I need to sign on as the host. How do I get the log-in screen to come back to enter my credentials?

I'm trying to login my users automatically from my website to adobe connect.The goal is to automatically register my users in adobe connect as soon as they register in my system ( I don't have problems with this part ) and to have a link inside my system that loads adobe connect inside an iframe. My problem lies in making a call like the one described in the webservices example.com/api/xml?action=login&login=joy@acme.com&password=happy&account-id=295153&session=Sbreezzd2dfr2ua5gscogv (in my case the example.com is something like meetxxxx.adobeconnect.com )This doesn't work because I'm in a different domain and I can't set a cookie this way.How can I login my users in adobeconnect without them being prompted with the loginscreen?Or is it possible to open the meeting with the session value? I'm using Connect 7. I upload pdf files, but when I try to share them during a meeting, they are not visible in the Sharing Pod. I see my PowerPoint fils, but not pdf files. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,I urgently need to download a recording that resides in adobe connect 8 (i.e. make offline) to supply to someone so it can be published. Downloading the recording by making if offline through the web site is easy. It plays the video and saves the file locally as a .flv file on my computer. A bit frustrating that you need to do this for a long recording, but it does work. The problem is, the quality of the downloaded recording is very poor. It is no where near as good as the one recored when viewed on line and simply not close to good enough.I have talked with the adobe connect help desk and they cannot advise how to download the video without loss of quality.  I have worked out how to download (i.e. fetch) recordings using the adobe connect desktop. That pulls down the raw .flv files and plays them. In addition, I have worked out how to down the zip file by appending  /output/recording.zip?download=zip at the end of the recording URL. This gives me the raw .flv files.In bo
