I have a username and password that sometimes gets the message that they do not have permission to access a module but it is not consistant. Sometimes they will login fine, other times they get permission denied trying to login the same the thing. . I think it may be due to firewall on their side, but they have fallback ports of 80 and 443 open. Any ideas?

I am using Connect 8 on Win2000 using Firefox. I am using Adobe's Connect as an Adobe hosted service, currently on a trial but happy to convert the service if I can iron out all difficulties. After creating Curriculum, I created an event and set up a number of guests. This is training, not really an event, but it is a series of online modules that the class attendees will need to view before the face-to-face classes started. Most things went well (allowing for user error, of course 😉 ), but when the attendees got their invitations and then went to the registration page, after completing this page, they got an HTML page that said"Thank you for your registration request. Your information has been submitted to the event host."I can preview this page at "http://meetxxx.adobeconnect.com/e1qrzebyxs7/event/registration_confirm.html"...but I can't change it here.I did searches here, and I came up with 2 thoughts: (1) I can buy Adobe Contribute to update that page (which I otherwise woul
I'm creating custom stamps in Acrobat 9 and it keeps rotating the image so that it comes out 90 deg clockwise. I tried rotating the original pdf image 90 deg counterclockwise and it still comes out with the stamp rotated 90 deg clockwise (i.e. 180 deg from original). All of the videos on the web show no rotation of the selected image. What setting is screwing up the works for me?
Hello all,For some reason a meeting of ours has become "stuck" in that we cannot end it. The session remains intact even when we end the meeting or sign out. The result is that when we log back in again to try and kill the meeting, Acrobat aggregates each time we log in to the meeting user quota. Finally it has reached a point where we can no longer get inside the meeting to try and end it. The message "User limit exceeded. COntact Meeting organizer" appears instead. We let the issue alone for a few hours thinking the meeting will finally get all the end commands we issued earlier but no luck. Help! Our meeting is stuck and we can't end it thus making Acrobat useless to us. Anybody else know how to end the stuck meeting session? Thanks,Allen
I have built an event, and this event sent participants a link to a curriculum after approval. When the student clicks on the link, he/she is invited to log in, then is presented what I call the "menu page" (I have no idea what Adobe calls it). This page has on the upper left, the items in the curriculum, on the lower left, the legend for the stuff above, and on the right, the detail for whichever item is highlighted: title, URL, course ID, summary, and so on.The very first question that one of beta testers asked was, "Since I had to log in to see this page, where is the log out button?" A good question...any (good) reason why the design left out a "log out" button? Is they some way I can add a message here to just tell the student to close the window when done? Thanks!Bill
I am doing a large scale webinar using Adobe Connect with 20 different presenters in three different continents. I will be the host, but will give up host duties to others who will act as technical team members in the three regions (Europe, Americas, Pacific). This sounds like alot of moving parts, and it is my first show with this software.Does anyone have any tips on this level of participation? Any information would be helpful...Thanks

I would like to know where do I imput this number , also I already have adobe CS4 suite and was wondering do I uninstall it first or do I simply just download the CS5 suite... I am afraid that it will take up too much on my computer. Thank you

I am having a problem where I cannot control many screens in Windows 7. Here is an example:I connect with a user and have them share their screen and then request control. I want to open event viewer and check some stuff out. I can click to open event viewer, but once it is open I can't click on anything. It is like windows has locked me out. I feel like it is windows that would function at a higher level maybe something to do with security around windows 7. Is anyone else having these problems? is there anything I can do to get around this? I end up having to walk my users through everything. and while some things aren't too bad, a lot of stuff is a very long process compared to how fast I could do it.Thanks!
One user using an Apple Mac has complained of not being able to hear the mp3 sound playback in a meeting. Is this a problem with Apple Mac and mp3 compatibility or is it an individual soundcard issue ?
A user tried to enter a meeting by clicking enter as a guest and then writing their name in the space. However having entered the meeting room, their name appeared as "guest".Is this a known issue ?
I recently purchased the Photoshop CS5 1 yr subscription. I am partner in a start up company and I, the artist, lives in new England and my partner, who is business/marketing end, AND ALSO HAS THE NEW GRAPHIC PRINTER, lives in South Florida. We BOTH need to use this program. Since the program was subscribed to under the business name, can she and I share the program? Or, does she HAVE to do another subscription under the co name? Thanks.ThePaintedQuote
This may be the wrong place to raise this. I don't usually use Adobe Connect. But this week I've been spending hours on the phone to Adobe technical support in India. They use Adobe Connect to see my desktop in an attempt to fix my problems (withAdobe Creative Suite 5 as it happens). What I found was that the Adobe Connect frequently experiences a network failure, causing the guy in India to no longer see my screen. He tells me this on the phone. I then have to wait for my Adobe Connect to notice that the connection has failed, and then go through the SHARE MY SCREEN dialogue again. This happens sometimes as often as once every ten seconds, but the connection sometimes lasts a minute or two.Adobce Connect does pop up a little box that says something like "Network connection failure" and has a button to "troubleshoot" it (or Cancel the session), but pressing that has no effect. The odd thing is that my internet service is pretty reliable and 4 Mbps. I have, for example, no problem downloa
I have a Named Organizer Pricing Model, bought before april 2011.For every host i have 100 possible users.Today i added an host.My limit should go up to 200, right? But i still see this:Meeting Hosts: 2 / 2Meeting Peak Concurrent Users: Unlimited (Soft Limit: Unlimited ) Concurrent Users Per Meeting: 100 (Soft Limit: 1000000000 ) And moreover, to manage a meeting with 150 users, i need to have all the 2 hosts connected in the same time? Thanks!
Hi!I'm putting this message here to request more information about the Adobe Connect software, because I sent an email to Adobe 2 times and they didn't answered me. The version I'm interested is the 'HOSTED', which is sold based on a yearly contract with Adobe and Adobe itself provides support and hosting service for the application. I have some questions:1) Is there a limit on the number of people simultaneously connected? What is that limit? 2) Which types of system customization (like layout) will I have in the HOSTED version that I didn't have on the trial version?4) Is there a monthly traffic limit?5) What is the disk space for this 'HOSTED' package? 6) Finally, I would like to know the prices for this package...Please, if you could help me with these informations I will be more than happy! I tried sending emails 2 times but nobody in Adobe seems to want to sell their product...Thanks in advance,Marco Aurelio.

Does the Adobe Connect Desktop application work on a 64 bit OS ? ( Win 7 64 bit tobe exact ? )When attempting to login , it automatically flashes " Connection Error".
I have a "course" which is really an exam of sorts (it's a marketing tool). I want to allow anyone on the planet to come to a URL, register for this exam, then be taken straight to the exam. No approval is required. The exam is on the Connect server, and based on the documentation, I set up a registration page using the Event Management. However, when I register as a test through another email, I get the webpage that says "thanks for registering, you'll hear back from us", as if the registration has to be approved by the course manager. Aside from the fact that I as the course manager have never received the email (a different issue), this isn't what I want anyway...after registration, I want the registrant to go straight to the exam (the content created from Presenter that I have uploaded).Perhaps my problem is setting this up as an event (which it really isn't), but the documentation doesn't tell me another way to set up a registration page...I suspect the answer is obvious, but I am
(I must admit that I have very little experience with video conferencing.)What I'm looking for is an off-the-shelf relatively low-cost videoconferencing package I can integrate into our own package. We want to be able to open a copy of our own product, call up one or more other computers, record the whole thing, and save the recording to a relatively common format. We want our own interface to control the entire process, not a third party control or popup. The whole process must be controlled by the computer that starts up our application.Actually I should also mention that this capability will most likely be needed in a web app, at least at first. It is possible we may want to do this with Windows apps later. All of our future application development will most likely be in Dot Net 4.0.Can this be done with Adobe Connect?
Every time I use my spot healing brush this always happens. I press the Option (Macintosh) to get a clone source and then press the mouse it will all of a sudden (even without keeping it clicked) my photo will move everywhere the mouse goes. Its extremely frustrating I've reset my workspace many times restarted my computer... everything and i can't seem to get the spot healing brush to work without the photo moving all over the place. everything else works except this one and i'm afraid I'm on a bit of a deadline to get these photos done any and all help would be great! Thanks in advance you guys
We are looking at turning our Adobe Connect Recordings into an interactive self-study product. Is it possible to make Adobe Connect Recordings Scorm compliant?
In Adobe Connect is it possible to find the number of views after a recorded meeting is made public? Under meeting dashboard it keeps track of these views for 30 days but I can not seem to find anywhere under the reports where this information is located.
HelloI am trying to figure out a problem we are seeing in our hosted Adobe Connect environment. When we setup a meeting with Access set to 'Anyone who has the URL for the meeting can enter the room' guests are able to directly enter the meeting but registered users still have to be approved by the Host to join. I've verified that none of the settings in the 'Manage Access & Entry' are set to block.Has anyone seen this before? Is there a setting I'm missing?Thank You,Ian
