I setup different rooms for each audience and want to display a relevant logo (jpg or bmp format).I have had no luck reading through the support docs whether or not this can be done.Does anyone know how I might be able to do this?

Has anyone noticed that Page Up / Down and Up / Down keys no longer work as shortcuts for presenter content in the share pod?  I wonder if this was due to a .x update?  Now we can no longer use a wireless remote to advance slides.JasonCSAIL / MIT

We're new to Adobe Connect.  We wanted to recorde a ppt with audio from the presenter.  So we did that, but when we play it back, the ppt skips from the first slide to the last slide, while the audio continues through the whole narrative.  It didn't look that way while we were recording it.This isn't the first meeting we recorded, but it's the first one that this happened to.What happend?Can it be fixed through editing or do we need to re-record it?We have a subscription to Adobe Connect.

I am contemplating purchase of Adobe Connect. In the trial version, I can record the meeting and make it off line as an .flv file, but no audio is recorded. Any help?

     Hello everyone,I'm having trouble figuring out what my problem is. Did a little poking around on the Internet and still haven't managed to find anything. Whenever I'm opening a document, such as an image(jpeg), the image appears blank. What I mean by blank... the background appears to be transparent. I know the image is present because it shows up in the layers and if I use the pen tool to draw on the picture the new drawn line will appear but only the line. if I choose to zoom in on the picture everything goes back to transparent. This problem also occurs when I create a new document. Nothing appears except for a "transparent" background even though its solid white. Can anyone please help me out here? thanks in advance.Rick

Hello, I am hoping that someone can help me with this question.I am currently administering the online courses created for my department and hosted on Adobe Connect. I am leaving my department and need to hand over the online training to my colleague. Is there a way to set my colleague as the administrator or does she need to create the training on her own account? If so, does this mean we will lose the testing history?Thanks

Hi, I have created a flash movie with motion tweens for my lettering and added external images for my backgrounds and symbols to create a presentation. The presentation works perfect in Flash, but the problem is when I export it to an AVI movie, the lettering is totally gone for each slide and only the images of backgrounds and symbols are working.I keeping getting an error in the output box everytime I play the movie in flash:Error opening URL 'http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/crossdomain.xml'I don't know if this helps.

I hae a Logitech C910 HD camera that works in every environment on which I've tried it, save for Adobe Connect on a Mac. I have the current version of FLash and Connect installed.The Flash settings panel recognises the camera as a possible audio source, but not as a video source.Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone have a remedy? The problem, as I understand it, is not with the camera, since it works well with other video applications. The problem seems to be the interface between the camera and Flash, since I cannot get it to show up in any Flash context in which I've tried it.Any leads?

Heya all,Ok i have a adobe connect pro account and i hold classes everyday and 2 timezones so my appointments are alot.I have so many projects that i need to be reminded via email when a class is going to start .........either a notification on the day or a time frame you can choose...a setting that you can choose when you recieve a notification via email prior to the class....i can not find anything in the settings to activate such a feature...the only notifications i can find are for errors etc............also because the net is global why isnt there an option to set a timezone in the invitations?....i meen if iam for example in australia and want to send an invitation to someone in the states..the current settings will send the timezone thats default for the invitation...........i think the ability to set a timezone or multiple timezones of choice for invitations is important...................but definetly if there is a setting to recieve email notifications of classes for the day

I am using Adobe Connect Pro.  The symbol font symbols are correct in some cases and not in others.  For example, the symbol for the lower case greek letter sigma is correct in text on an MSPowerpoint slide (pptx), but not in a text box on another slide.  Instead of sigma I have a question mark.  Both are the same font, Arial Narrow.  On another slide I have what appears to be an arc instead of the greek letter lambda.  Instead of a large "dot" symbol, I have a clock on another slide, etc... How can I fix this?

We have been using the Microsoft Live Meeting platform for about 2 years and wanted to move to an HD platform..just heard about the HD GTM on the TWIT MacBreak weekly podcast and did not know if we move to Adobe Connect .. is there an HD comparable option available or is it forthcoming? Leo

Hello,My company does a series of webinars that we  record and then post on our website for clients. In order to do so, we  use the feature to save a recording to an FLV file. Before the Connect 8  SP1 upgrade the file sizes averaged 50-70 MB. After the upgrade they  are averaging around 200 MB for the same length and content.Anyone know of a way to lower this file size through  Adobe Connect settings? We upload all the recordings to our server after  adding a flash wrapper for playback controls, so the increased file  size has become a burden.Thanks,Kyle

i've made an swf multimedia design and i want to convert it to a dvd in which buttons in my swf work is there any programme or solution to make it done

Since September 2010 I have been running with a very cumbersome process of combining multiple files into a single pdf, exporting the file as HTML and then adding a watermark (company stationery with border and logo in jpeg format). I then have to split out each separate file and save as the original file name. Don't ask why but by exporting to html was the only way I could successfully add the watermark and have it appear correctly.Now I know you can add watermarks in bulk but the file needs to have been exported to html before the watermark will load as it should.Is there a better way or is there a way to select multiple files to export to html?

If I want to access http://seminars.adobe.acrobat.com/vqs-participants/ Firefox 5 reports the Adobe Acrobat Plugin is broken. If I try the link with IE 9 the site is very very slow and the PDF never shows up...? Anyone else having the same problems? I need the VQS Guide for a presentation..is there another place to get it?ThanksGilbert

I share a license with a couple other people and want us all to be able to see our meetings on the calendar so we don't inadvertantly schedule something at the same time.  I have a meeting that occurs every week for one hour.  Is there a setting during the "Create Meeting" phase that allows me to designate this as a recurring meeting?  Or do I have to create a new meeting every week?  And if I set the meeting to occur each week, will that show up on the calendar?

I have a recorded meeting for about one hour long,and after that meeting finished ,I try to plackback , the screen always showing connecting, nothing happen after a long long time. Anyone know how to solve this issue?thanksRex.

Hi, I have recorded a few classes and the audio on the recording is much lower than the audio was during the actual class, to the point where it's almost not functional. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?Thanks for any insight!

I have a course that I am taking and it uses Adobe Connect. When I receive a link to one of our recordings and it opens in the browser everything is working fine its just that when the instructor shares his computer screen I can barely see what he is doing. I just wanted to know is there any way I can adjust the screen so i can see what he is doing. The only thing I can control from the recorded meetings is play and pause and fast forward or rewind it does not give me the button for fullscreen in the top right corner it has nothing there.
