I had uploaded a Powerpoint file into my session. I tried deleting it afterwards in Adobe Connect Manager, but it always appears in my menu when I want to share something. Does anyone know how to delete a file? Also, I created a new share module by mistake, and now I always have two share module in my menu to choose from.

I hope someone will be able to help me. I have been using PDF converter online for awhile now and on some of my websites. I know how to use hyperlinks (I am a webdesiger). All of a sudden, my hyperlinks are not working on any NEW ones I create. I click on the link on the website and it comes up with Error 404, Page not found. I am using regular word documents. The support team keeps instructing me on how to set up hyperlinks - I know how to do that. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks!

We have Connect v6, and for promo purposes we'd like to put a short clip from a recorded meeting into a PowerPoint presentation which will be running autonomously. I can't see a way to download the recorded meeting (which I presume is a Flash video file?), and I 've tried using the services of keepvid.com, but pasting the meeting url into keepvid doesn't open the meeting, so no luck there. My tech knowledge of these things isn't great, but I'm willing to learn. Does anyone have any ideas how we can capture the recorded meeting? Or is it just not possible in version 6? Thanks.

hello all, have been waiting for the new version of acrobat hoping that it will support PDF sharing. we do a lot of online presentations to our clients (remotely) and can't share the keynotes that we prepare so exporting to pdf and sharing would be the ideal solution. do you have any news on how this is developing? i tried with the new version but still not supported thanks!

I have an "attendee" who can't get his camera working. He's on a Mac and the acrobat connect program does not detect his USB camera. His camera is not an “Isight” nor is meant to work on Mac. However... and here's the kicker, he can get it to work with a program called Macam. Is there any hope? Joel

Anyone know if Connect 7 will allow you to share an Office 2007 version of Power Point with the default 2007 Extension of "PPTx" or away to to do this other then saving the PowerPoint in the 97-2003 "PPT" format? I have my own Licensed server and currently still running AC 6 SP2, so if there is a patch out there to fix this issue I may not be aware of it. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm on a Dual PowerPC G5 running leopard 10.5 2 and I see no preferences to set email client. I called adobe connect support...they started quoting $ for support packages...??? Yikes...any ideas out there??? My default email client is entourage. I changed default to apple mail just to see if it would work and it did not. I do have my system set to open html files in golive (for editing) but that should not interfere with an email client app. Thanks in advance! Lee

Is it possible to convert/record an Adobe Connect presentation for play on YOUTUBE? What software should be used? Should it be converter to AVI format, or something else? Right now I'm trying to do this with Camtasia Recorder. Is there an easier way? I've looked into the SoThink Flash to Video Converter ( http://www.sothinkmedia.com/swf-to-video/index.htm) , but since each slide is a separate SWF, I'm not sure if it can be done with Connect Presenter files. During our Connect Professional live meetings, using VOIP for hosts only, we continue to experience frequent freezes which require that everyone login again or we receive "network disconnect" messages which require a reboot of our Connect enterprise server. The first meeting today had 77 connections and the second meeting had 40 connections. Most are connected using LAN. The audio features are quirky, i.e., hosts cannot always hear music embedded in a presentation but participants have no problem hearing it. Without warning, the entire meeting freezes. With both meetings today, we had a network disconnect at 60 minutes into the meeting. Although we can always get the meeting back up and running, it is disruptive and aggravating for our attendees. We are running presentations within the meeting space. No video. Adobe tech support has not been able to offer any clues as to what is happening. They now have all of the server error codes to study. I downloaded Adobe Acrobat 8.1.0 Professional 2 weeks ago for a 30 day trial and now everytime I go to any of my documents, even Word, the adobe acrobat page pops up telling me to buy, put in serial number or quit. Then the page I'm trying to work on disappears. I have tried add/remove and it won't let me. Does anybody know how I can remove this off my computer or uninstall it. I have a timeline I'm working with and I cannot get to my documents. Adobe Acrobat has taken over and will not allow me access to any adobe or Word documents. Please someone help. These are legal documents I need access to. And the funny part, my 30 day trial isn't even over yet. Vance

I'm using a monthly subscription to Adobe Connect and I'd like to send out my own email invitations that include a "test link" to ensure that my attendees have the proper flash player, etc. Should I send them this link: https://na1.connect.acrobat.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm or is this only for hosts/presenters? Hi, I tried to find out the meaning of the microphone colors in Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional. As you can see in this TinyPic-Link, the mircophone icon changed his color temporarily from grey to yellow, not to green when users are talking. Means this that the bandwidth is too low or that the cpu is too slow? Thank for your help! Best regards, Alex.

Hi all, You know it, you hate it: building quizzes (and other interactions) using Presenter. But there *is* another option: Build your quiz completely in Flash and upload it directly to Breeze. That way, you have 100% control over how it looks, how it works, and what it does. However, you need to add a little extra code to get it to talk with Breeze if you want to use the LMS functions (completion tracking and such) built in to the server. The key is that Breeze is somewhat AICC compliant. I say *somewhat* because the CMI Guidelines for Interoperability from the AICC is next to useless. I had to hack out the commands myself. To talk with Breeze, your Flash module requires an HTML "wrapper" which handles the actual commuication. Simply put, the Flash module uses "fscommand()" to send data to the wrapper, which then uses JavaScript to pass the data on to Breeze. Participants to my meetings do not get the "Allow Camera" option when they log onto my meeting. In both instances I believe these were Logitech Web Cams. They've run the diagnostic from the troubleshooting page and flash player is working. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My organization has a hosted account. I also taught at a university that has a licensed account. I want to save the archive of a Connect meeting so I'll have it when the university kicks me off their server. I know you can't download an archive file -- because it's really zillions of small .flv files -- but can you MOVE it to another server? If not, can you move other content (like presentations) directly, or do you have to download it from one server and then upload it to the other?

When I try to run Acrobat Professional Trial on a Vista Business X86 system it reports a fatal incompatibility with Adobe Reader!!! I have uninstalled Adobe Reader and tried to remove any scraps of files or registry entries connected with it but the incompatibility continues. Instructions on how to manually remove Adobe Reader file and registry entries pop up but do not work in Vista because System files and registry entries are inaccessible even to administrators. Curiously Acrobat Professional 7 works perfectly on another Vista computer. Adobe Support will not support trial versions but I am not going to pay for an update until I know it will work! It seems ludicrous that Adobe cannot fix incompatibilities between their products. Perhaps the pdf format should be withdrawn in favour of docx? Has anybody found a solution?

We reciently purchased this product and were told that it would work with video cameras. We have a Panasonic that we are using with vista. this camera works with Premiere Pro, and there is nothing wrong with it. I know that Connect is not software based it is an Internet Application. How ever i know that the OS (vista) "sees" the camera because it works with other programs. Sorry i am connecting with IEEE not USB Has anyone out there in the world has success with getting a video camera using IEEE connection to work fully. Audio and Video coming through the camera? Is anyon aware of drivers for either the camera or the IEEE? And if the Connect product does not support this... WTF? thanks

Hi! I have a PDF file that has several tables in it. I converted the PDF to MS Word, but the tables come in as a graphic/picture file instead of a Word table. How can I get it to convert correctly? Thank you!!

When I try to launch Adobe Acrobat 6.0, I get the following error: Runtime Error! This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. I've tried every fix I could fin on the Web including reinstalling the program. Does anyone have a sure fire fix?
