Creative Cloud desktop

Surely Adobe could offer a simple 'cartoonify` option in its myriad of apps, particularly it's mobile phone versions? Other companies are doing it and charging a small fortune for the app.

Removing Cloud Sync for existing customers? Please reconsider this decision, Adobe. One of the best features in Creative Cloud is the seamless integration of many workflows. Adobe has promoted and been promoted for this. And now they have decided that a feature they've given us will be taken away. Ok... look. New customers coming to the platform? Fine. Don't offer it to your new accounts. But to not allow those of us who have been faithfully paying our monthly (or yearly) fees - in my case for probably 15 years - is a terrible business strategy.  Integration between Photoshop and Aftereffects and Premiere... they all work seamlessly. Just to name three of them... but now Adobe is saying, "automatically syncing your project files to Creative Cloud isn't an important part of the job?" Come on guys, why even call it Creative Cloud?  Even the US Federal and State Governments (as horrible at business as they are, will grandfather existing business in when they issue

I'd like to make a suggestion I hope this is the place for this. I have started a video podcasting and I do my interviews remotely. Currently use podcastle which allows me to record video calls and gives me separate video and audio for each person on the call. I hope this could be a feature adobe could offer as part of the creative cloud subscription. 

first, i really like the help i get in the community. it took me a while to find my orientation here. Now, years later i discovered uservoice.i guess my post is more of a (minor) feature request: to organise the acces to both platforms inside CCD. Maybe at the  right side menue under the tutorials button. would be a bit more transparent this way.

I've unticked automatic updates, sync in background, and launch at startup but Adobe still insists on automatically running services and tasks. If I manually disable their services from running automatically through Windows they just switch right back after I update CC or any Adobe app. I don't want, nor is it necessary, for anything Adobe running in the background when I'm not using their apps. Support gave me some BS that these services need to run everytime I boot up my machine. Not only is that insulting, it's invasive. Hoping this at least spreads awareness if my voice isn't enough.

As far as I k now, there is no user voice page for the client, hence I put this here. With the current version 6.0.0.571, following things are either version specifically wrong or in general:There is no switch to turn off synchronization. The synch will always automatically start when starting the client, so you must stop it. The synch would even start if there is nothing to synch.The About window is blurry (see below)When wanting to have two versions of the same app installed and installing a newer after an older, CC would still call it an update, though it isn't one.In the install process of the newer, the checkmark for "Uninstall older version" is automatically checked. This is the second time that this has happened. the customer rep the first time said this was a "fluke". My last name only has two letters, but when I add an extra letter it solves the issue. Can we get this fixed? Not sure if this is the right place to be posting this but I've tried contacting customer service and they take a while to get back.   

Other cloud storage, i.e. Google Drive, Dropbox, etc, are automatically recognized as Cloud Storage in the Finder Sidebar, but not CC Sync Folder. Suggest that to have CC Sync Folder also have the same.  

Feature to choose which files should be downloaded and which should be kept on the Cloud rather than the entire gamut of files being downloaded to local drive.Online, 1000s of people have asked for this feature, every collegue I work with in the industry complains about this not being in place - we're still awaiting the HUGE need for this feature to be met. What is the point of having cloud storage if you cannot choose to keep things on the cloud. OneDrive, Dropbox and many others allow selective file synchronisation - because you don't need to sync all files all the time and we need to keep harddrives light, save bandwidth and save the planet.Furthermore Adobe, your CC software often bugs out (quite often after an update) and then wants to re-synchronise the entire freaking load of files! This happens just often enough to be slightly annoying. When Adobe renames apps (adding the current/next year to the app name) it results in broken links in the task bar (Win) and dock (Mac, not shown). Please consider naming apps with a single, canonical name, and let users visit the app's "about" menu to determine what version they are on. "Adobe InDesign" would be an excellent name for the app, no matter what year I am using it in. Thanks for considering!

How come there isn't a button or a function that allows you to close all background tasks of Creative cloud and other Adobe programs?Every single time I have to go and press end task in the Task-Manager about 20 times, since there are about 10-15 tasks running and some jsut reopen after closing them if you're not fast enough while closing everything else...That's jsut annoying yet it could be such a simple feauture...

Adobe, I love ya, but you're acting like my crazy ex right now. I've been using Generative Fill and all the lovely AI tools for months in beta and now in the main apps. So I really don't need you to be sending me push notifications and popups every five minutes telling me to 'try it'. Can your notification system get a bit smarter? Recognise the users who've already taken the plunge with new features and spare us the repeat invites? Or at least give us an Ignore All button. For the sake of my sanity, please!  

I have had to reinstall my machine, and now I have a fresh Creative Cloud install.And I found that my settings from Photoshop, Illustrator and so on are now not available to be restored.Upon searching, this appears to be fairly recent. I am sitting here in DISBELIEF. Adobe, WHY has this been removed. If it needs improvements, then say so. We can't even change the location of the Adobe preferences folders to be on OUR OWN Cloud storage.Just give us Preferences / Settings  etc sync back.

Chromebookʻs are widely popular in schools today. They are cheap, affordable and robust enough to complete coursework. However, Adobe Creative Cloud still does not have the capability to offer its services on Chromebook. Iʻd like to request an update or app improvement to allow users to work in Adobe online to support school programs such as Photography, Film & Media, Yearbook, Digital Media and more. Schoolʻs can provide funding for licesenes for Adobe but can not support the purchase of more expensive computers, especially in rural areas. This update would provide equitable access without having to find work-around ways like downloading through Google Play. An online version would be very helpful to support ACC. 

We wish a policy in the Adobe admin console where we could set that "removing older versions" is the default value and this option should be unchangeable by the Windows 10 end users without local admin rights. The reason for this is, that if a users has plenty of Adobe products installed and use a small notebook (with a small harddrive) with other installed application in a corporate envoirment (Windows Update cache / SCCM cache....), there will be free disk space issues after a certain time. 

We have about 3'000 Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro end users and would like to establish the Creative Cloud desktop (CCD) as a self-service to our Windows 10 end users without local admin rights (for installing and updating Adobe products by themself). This works fine but there is currently no option for forcing updates after a specific time period. If the end user don't care about updates there could be a security issue in this case, because the installed products can be outdatet. Therefore we wish a policy in the admin console were we could set a time trigger after updates have been released to force install udates by CCD without the interaction of the end users. 

Would be useful to be able to receive email or other notifications when assigning licensing based on groups (Active Directory in this case).This is a nice feature but using it would not necessarily require us to be on the portal at all times for license assignment and it is possible to overextend license assignments without knowing it for some time.

After reviewing the message boards I can see there is no way to download complete folders from the Creative Cloud. This needs to be fixed, it's a huge issue for a variety of obvious reasons.When can we expect an update? 

I have been working with Adobe Creative Cloud Console and managing it for our organization. We have about 100 plus profiles and each of them have their own admins multiple in a lot of them and have assigned the Adobe Creative Cloud licenses that each of the profiles have requested for. The admins of the profiles have assigned the users that can use the Adobe Creative Cloud licenses. We use Federated IDs and ahve about 362000 users.Given this scenario I realized that there is no way to back up the profiles and the users and admins in the various Creative Cloud profiles and the licenses assigned to them so that in case of a disaster or corruption in the profiles one can restore the profiles including the users in it and the license count and the admins?I am surprised no one requested for it and would be really greatful if Adobe can add this feature of Adobe Creative Cloud Profile backups and restore for the Adobve Admin Console.Thanks

To improve the Creative Cloud app, we're working to provide a unified view of your assets across the Adobe ecosystem. To start, you can now easily access your Lightroom photos in the Files tab of Creative Cloud Desktop. You can then take actions on your photos like opening them in Lightroom web or editing them in Photoshop.    We would love to hear your ideas on how to improve this feature.  To provide feedback simply post your suggestion on this thread or upvote to any existing suggestion.        

of course i assume adobe wants updates to the latest version, granted.however, my creative needs require more than 1 version of certain apps.that said, it is extremely unhelpful that, in 1 context, you title the apps 2024, 2023, etc by year,but then in another, in CC updater, you just put the version number, WITHOUT the year.it forces the user to figure out which is which, when the solution is just as simple as putting the full app name, including year in the namethis is feedback to make CC more user friendly - it is currently not helpful in this.users are paying you every month for a subscription, so the least adobe could do is make updating easier by displaying BOTH version and full app name. in this respect, adobe is out of conformity to industry standards, which is unprofessional.please display both in the CC updater.thanks in advance.

I think it would be useful if the admin console could view or report who is currently logged in. Also, it would be great if we could have a report of the licence usage over a period of time to monitor how much the licence is actually used.

The option to keep certain files or folders synced only online rather than have them saved to the local PC. I have many large design files I don't need to access frequently that take up a lot of storage collectively, but still need to keep for future reference.

Would you please add a feature in Creative Cloud Desktop app to bring more control to admins by allowing to disable/hide apps trials?It's highly frustrating for our users to test a product that is not available in our contract!
