Adobe is discontinuing access to the service from our website and Brackets extension.I love this service. Extract works great, It totally useful. Very good tool. And they are going to kill it. Why? Are they crazy?see: Update about Extract for Creative Cloud Assets Online Service and Brackets | Creative Cloud blog by Adobe
Hi, I've seen this question asked in multiple discussions, but it always seems to be answered by pm or email. My archive is empty and I only have a handful of pictures stored on the cloud and this message keeps popping up.Tom
Incredibly, I have just been told by Adobe support that there is no way to change the CC library / file date format from US m/d/yy to European dd/mm/yyyy. Do they not realise that the rest of the world are totally confused by US dates and particularly when in single figures allow for much confusion. My account is all setup for UK English so why don't all formattings follow as default. Am I the only non US user of CC in the whole world and what have other non US users found? Help please!! My file team users are all confused.
says something went wrong, i have never used it. thought id give it a try...anyone help?
I had to restore my PC and when I open an Adobe application (Indesign, Illustrator, etc) there's nothing in my libraries. The following shows as the title of the libraries panel:%DL_LIBRARIES_PANEL_NAME_CCAny ideas how to restore the content of my libraries? Thank you.I'm on Windows 10.Edit: Some additional information. I just checked My Assets under my account and I can see the contents of My Library. But somehow I cannot see it in the applications.
how do you rename a file on the cloud?
Problem:After updating Creative Cloud Desktop Version 3.8.0.310 released on 08/30/2016 I found that the files living the the creative cloud folder no longer displayed the overlay icons (green check mark for synced, and blue arrows for syncing.) Just prior to the update the icons were displaying correctly on my files, however after the update they disappeared. The files ARE syncing successfully to the cloud but the Icons showing me which are synced, syncing, or have an error are no longer showing up. I know it isn’t a major problem but I find them EXTREMELY helpful in my workflow with my team since we collaborate daily. Any suggestions on how to fix this?Update 8/31/16: Just found that when I "save as" and preview the folders on Creative Cloud Desktop the overlay icons (Green check mark and blue syncing icons) are showing up. No idea why they show up there but not in a regular Finder view of the Creative Cloud folder. What I have tried:Signing in and out of Creative Cloud.Restarting my
I'm trying to use InDesign CC libraries so I can share my often used images between different projects. It is not going well.I drag my images into the CC libraries panel and it sees them and adds my images to the collection (I use a lot of icons on my presentations which I prepare in InDesign).I'm finding that when I try and retrieve my icon images from CC library (drag them on to my current document), then all I get is a grey square. I can see the icon in the CC libraries panel but it doesn't want to come out and play!Love the idea of the CC libraries and it would be great........if it worked!Grateful for any adviceBest wishesRichard
Good morning, on my Mac in Macintosh HD / Users / User find the folder Creative Cloud Files (archived) (1). I never noticed or probably had the name Creative Cloud Files. You tell me if anyone knew anything about it would make me a favor? It was renamed from some updating or is an anomaly? What is the name of deafult this folder created by the installation of Creative Cloud? Thank you!!!
Windows 8 64b (French).Adobe CC English version.Typekit sync activated.I was working on Illustrator this morning when Windows crashed for unknown reason (yes. This happend sometimes ^^). PC rebooted without any pb, I relaunched Illustrator and noticed that all sync fonts from Adobe TypeKit are missing. I first checked my notification area to check on the CC TypeKit status but no more CC icon in the icons tray.I tried to launch it manually : no result. Tried to reboot : no result. Uninstall it, reinstall it from CC website, no visible problem but still no result. Rebooted again. Same story... (all CC apps are working fine, but the "CC desktop app" does not start and so fonts sync from Adobe TypeKit.I am kinda in a rush and have some work due for tomorrow and find myself in a very tricky position and any help will be very much appreciated.Thanks.- EDIT -Finally I decide to un-install any Adobe product from my computer, trash all preferences files, totally Adobe-clean it, reboot, re-insta
My libraries are no longer accepting or releasing new items. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the programs, plus I've cleared the firewalls and reset permissions. The Libraries window looks normal, but the icons for adding elements are greyed out. If I drag and drop, the window darkens as if accepting the element, then does nothing. If I'm in indesign and try to use the color theme tool's beautiful add to library button, nothing happens. In photoshop, clicking New Library from Document also does nothing. Below is a screen grab of Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop open. You can see the greyed out icons. You can also see that they worked once.Any help?
Why oh why do I have to have shared a file with someone else to enable selective sync? This is just the most arbitrary short-sighted implementation of selective sync one can imagine. Here's the scenario, I have a desktop with terabytes of storage, now I want to do some work on my laptop, since I log into both machines with the same Creative Cloud account (As I have to if I want my software to be licensed) I would like to selectively sync some files (laptops are low on space Adobe) but I can't do it because you're not allowed to selectively sync your own folders? Why don't you guys just look at the way dropbox does it and copy them instead of trying to imagine what kind of scenarios your users would be faced with with and then implementing arbitrary rules that hamstring us?Is there a way around this? I need my files on my laptop but it's only got a SSD drive which can't store the entire content of my CC account.
Recently when I try to sync big video files (300MB+), the iMac will become unresponsive, the mouse cannot even be moved normally. And the computer will be freeze after a minute of so. Even if I try to upload these big files 1 by 1 the probelm still happen. Could anyone advise how should I solve this probelm?
Is it possible to use typekit fonts in HTML emails, eg for site newsletters? Thanks.
No possibility of using CC Libraries is very annoying! I used all the suggestions and the problem is still not resolved almost a year! Sometimes the library appears, sometimes not. Sometimes it helps to restart CC, but other times not. When finally Adobe will fix this problem? There are subsequent updates, but do not solve the problem. I'm very disappointed.
I have some artwork files stored in my Creative Cloud assets directory. How can I download them in their native format, i.e. high res PDF and not as a jpg.
I have a few folders with different files (jpg, .psd, indd, .pdf, etc) in my creative cloud. I am not able to see some of my files that I have saved in there and that I used to be able to see, open, and edit. Some of these files that I can't see are not recent. When I open my Creative Cloud is says "All Files up to date". When I click "View on web" I can see those files but I can't download them. Please help!
Is it a feature of Creative Cloud that Adobe don't allow sharing of PDFs with clients? The artwork was sign off and a touch large for email, I thought I would be able to just share it on a link for download over Creative Cloud given the sub comes with 20gb of space.Sadly unless you are logged into creative account this options isn't offered.Seems like a massive oversight. Few end clients are going to have creative cloud free or paid for accounts and I'm struggling to understand why this choice was made.
HiI'm trying to share a pdf file with a client. Unfortunately, she can't download the PDF version. Only the JPG and PNG versions.Adobe Creative Cloud The file is in public mode.We saw this issue in the 3 major browsers, in Mac platform: Chrome, Firefox and Safari. We didn't try in PCAfter a little research in adobe forum, I found 2 OLD topics about this issue.https://forums.adobe.com/message/6593767#6593767https://forums.adobe.com/message/6596155#6596155Is it still a feature?Cheer's Dandalo Gabrielli
I have a new computer running Windows 8.1. I installed Creative Cloud on it, and I can download apps just fine, but I can't sync files. When I turn on syncing, after a few minutes this messsage displays: "Some files failed to sync"And the creative cloud folder remains empty.None of the problems/solutions in the "learn more" link were relavent. I've tried re-installing the program, restarting my computer, changing the Creative Cloud folder location, and signing out of Creative Cloud on all other devices, to no avail. Please help me out with this.
Why can't Adobe just let the synchronisation off files between the cloud and my different computers just be ON when I set it ON - I have so many times experienced when I came to my job after working at home - no syncing has been done. That is not reliable!!! Adobe, you should have look at Dropbox - it never happens there!!
I have two installs of DW on Windows 10 desktops. One is in Tampa, Fl, the other is in Mt. Dora, Fl. I work remotely from both locations. The last two weeks I've been working out of the Tampa location. I left today (8.18) to go to Mt. Dora. Before I left Tampa, I closed DW and shut down my desktop. When I got to Mt Dora a while ago, I booted my desktop then went into Creative Cloud to view my file assets on the "web" only to find that the latest time stamp on any of my files was from 8.5I don't know what the issue is, but this problem has cause me to step all over what I thought was good code when traveling between both locations.I'm a bit frustrated. Considering the subscription based agreement, we're all paying a lot in on a monthly basis with long term investments from most users. Am I expecting too much from what I'd think should be LESS error prone from a high end product???OR am I missing something here? Any insights would be appreciated.
The Creative Cloud Files were a second backup to my local harddrive, and the files have all disappeared. Any idea how to retrieve? I have looked in the Archive and it is all wiped???????
Dear Adobe, since I have downloaded the new version of Adobe ID CC 2015.4 I am not able to use my CC Library panel. I have tried to uninstall ID but does not worked. I am waiting for a solution. I am using OS X 10.10.5.Thank you.
