Hi, I am sure I deleted all Files and Folders in my Cloud (20GB) but the CC Desktop App still sows the use of 1,26 GB.I need all 20 GB space! How to delete the rest? Please see attached Screenshots.
I've scoured the forums and tried everything in regards to the file syncing issue. One thing I cannot seem to find is the .log file. I went to User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync and i'm not seeing any .log files. The files are viewable on the web, but will not sync to my CC Desktop App.
Hi,I like the creative cloud application for installing/updating apps from a single place but I'm not using or planning to use the cloud files feature. I disabled it in the preferences but the link to the local folder gets re-added to my favorites list in Windows explorer anyway. When I remove it, it gets re-added anyway - I manage this list carefully and want to keep it short and sweet. How to I prevent creative cloud from creating this link?Thx,Markus
Hi!I'm trying to see my files by the app Creative Cloud, but it says: ''Impossible de charger l'emplacement de synchronisation" (Impossible to charge the synchronisation location)
I'm a long-time ACP member and forum moderator on several forums. I have two Macs running Mac OS X 10.10.5. Both of them were updated this evening to the newest version of Creative Cloud app, 2.3.0.151.On my MacBook Pro, the CC app is running fine. But on the iMac, there is no access to File Sync or to Typekit. All I see is under Fonts or Files is the spinning blue icon. When I investigated CC app of this computer, I found the following:* In the preferences, File Sync is clicked On, but the Folder location is grayed out and empty.* In the preferences, Typekit is clicked On, but grayed and not selectable* When I use the Activity Monitor, I see that the "CoreSync" process is not running (as it is on the other Mac, and when I've observed it before)When I came to this forum, I saw the notice about CoreSync problems. I followed the instructions in this help file:Creative Cloud Help | Uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop appI uninstalled CC app, and used the link to reinstall it to version 2.
Hi,I have just installed the trial version of illustrator & Creative Cloud is repeatedly saying 'There was a problem syncing some files'.If I choose 'Learn More' then it tells me 'Unable to sync "move.ai"The file is present in the folder, and has a red triangle next to it.Any advice, either to cure the issue or just top Creative Cloud reporting the issue as a problem. Thanks in advance.Peter
Hello, I have a lot of photos, organized by folders. Can I choose which folders to sync between my devices? Thanks.
how can i deal with my desktop failing to open creative cloud because of a message some files failed to sync? !
I'm on a project where I'm switching between using my personal computer and a company (public) system. I'd like to be able to sign into and out of my CC account on the public computer and delete my files when I sign out for security purposes. However, if I just sign out then delete the files, or pause syncing then sign out and delete, it creates a problem. The problem is that when I sign back into the public computer it recognizes that I've deleted the files and deletes them from my CC account, so I have to restore the files from archive. Is there a better way? If not I'll just stop using file sync.
Can i disable the syncronization with Cloud permanently and without the possibility to enable it? If not can you recommand a product similiar to this one that doesn't use Cloud?
With the addition of Art Boards to PSDs the advantages of reviewing a single PSD in browser through CC is less than desirable. In fact it really kind of sucks. I would recommend that Adobe do something to make the reviewing process a little nicer for clients that I'm sharing with and expect comments back. My recommendation is for the browser version of CC recognize the art boards and display them as slides allowing each one to be commented on. And think about how a client that can barely grasp anything technical is supposed to understand what he/she is looking at when it comes to three different views of the same page. The browser view is not very intuitive when it comes to zooming in and out either.Just some feedback.
I ran into an issue where a .dll file (easyredirect64.dll) was causing some issues. Notably; it would cause explorer.exe to hang, and would cause all my Creative Cloud programs to crash immediately on startup. Before deleting the file, the only solution was to uninstall Creative Cloud plus all the apps and reinstall before the problem inevitably happened again. I've since deleted the file, and now explorer works fine, but when I try to re-install Creative Cloud, something peculiar happens. The installer unpacks and goes through most of its installation fine, but when it gets to the last step it just...Closes. The process is still visible in Task Manager, but nothing happens. An item is created in the start menu, but pressing it does nothing, nor can I uninstall it in Programs and Features. The only way to remove it is to restart Explorer, as it locks a CoreSync .dll whenever this happens (CoreSync_x64), and then manually delete all the files. I am running Windows 10 64x.
I have a trial version does that matter in synching of files in Lightroom?
I use the Adobe CC app on both my Windows and Mac machines to sync files. It always works fine on my Windows machine. However on my Mac I frequently notice that files aren't syncing so I go into the app preferences \ Creative Cloud \ Files and discover that file syncing is turned off. I can turn it on and it syncs everything just fine, but why is it constantly being disabled? This is really frustrating. Jason
HiI ended up with creative cloud which I never really wanted in the first place.I uninstalled it but appear to be stuck with the folder icon in my Explorer navigation pane.Any ideas how to get rid of it?Many thanksJulian
We’re having a pretty serious and ongoing problem with Creative Cloud for Teams. The problem started when one of our users (my boss) could not access and empty their online “Archived” folder which was taking up around 66% of their allotted 100GB storage. (Here’s the Adobe forum post that referenced the same or similar, still unresolved, initial problem that we’re having. https://forums.adobe.com/message/6252821#6252821) I’ve spent about 45 days so far trying to resolve the issue of accessing and emptying the Archived folder via the regular channels provided by Adobe - email, chat and some phone conversations with lower-to-mid level tech support and a call to a U.S. based sales rep. Here’s where things went from bad to worse. While one of the techs was trying to resolve this issue, they wound up deleting all of my user’s current “good” files(!) while still being unable to access the Archived folder. I was assured by the tech that Adobe will eventually be ab
I sent a small series of Public Links to an agency last night. Was recently made aware this morning that the URLS were "no longer active" a couple hours before showing their client.I tried recreating the public links, but this option became non-active. I even tried sending from my CC app via my iPhone 6s...link was sent but still, "no longer active" after clicking on the URL.I am well aware that this is not the first time this has happened with "Public Links"...my clients and producers are beginning to lose confidence with this particular aspect of Adobe CC.Please keep me apprised!-g
Hi,I'm having problems with syncing files up to the cloud. In the desktop app it says 'all files up to date' but in the folder none of the files have green ticks. Looking on the web app it seems that files aren't updating.I'm on a macbook pro running yosemite.I've had a look around the forums and other posts but any direct help would be much appreciated.I've restarted my computer, restarted cc desktop app, logged out and back in again, but at the moment nothing has worked. Thanks, Jamie
Bonjour,J'ai cette erreur depuis quelques jours et aucune synchronisation ne se fait. Pourriez-vous m'aider ? Merci.
I'm looking into creating a workflow using CC that would have contractors store all of their files using the "Creative Cloud Files" syncing system. They would do all of their work in the CC files dropbox, so that we would have instant access to all that they've created. Then we could revise the files as needed and also have them available for backup. The plan is to give these remote contractors access to the CC software on an "as needed" basis. So, they'd be able to install/use the software when working on our projects. I'm not totally clear on how that works, but I assume they can be allocated a seat as needed via the Team or Enterprise CC plan?If that's possible, what happens to their synced files if/when they don't currently have a valid CC license/login on their computer? Do they still have access to them? Are they deleted? The assumption is that the files would be shared with our team, so we would in theory already have them on our computers. On a side note, if the contractor delet
The reason I ask is because every time I drop the file into Creative Cloud Files folder on my desktop, when it sync. It takes up all my internet upload speed bandwidth which interrupt my other PC or Wireless devices that's streaming music, watch video or browsing the web. I can't even browse the internet while file sync and uploading. So, I wonder if there is an option to set a throttle speed for upload and download doing sync? This way, Creative Cloud will not hog up all my internet speed bandwidth and interrupt my other systems. Note: I do video editing. Each video file I upload is around 100-500MB.
I have a very odd problem I haven't been able to resolve. I have CC installed in 2 computers, 1 where I do all the work and the 2nd one where they are printed from. The problem is whenever I put a file, in the CC folder, bigger than 5mb, it won't sync to the 2nd computer. However, if I put that same file in the CC folder of the 2nd computer, it syncs to the first computer just fine. That problem began Monday morning after I updated the apps.
HiI understand that some symbols/characters are invalid when syncing, but the file names for some icons I'm syncing don't contain any of them! Here is the files in the folder...They are just PNGs, with no special symbols/characters.Any ideas why these files aren't syncing?CheersG
Core Sync uses 50% of my computer. I have an iMac that is about a week old and is running Mac OS 10.11, the latest Mac system.I had a CC app that I tried as a demo, but went back to my trusty CS6 Photoshop.Even with my new computer I still get hung up with that damned rolling ball of procrastination. After spending another 3 hours today looking at other Adobe forums, I found out that this problem, and worse, has been going on for quite some time. Seems Adobe hasn't fixed it yet.How the heck do I get rid of all the Core Sync stuff without seriously damaging my Adobe files?
I recently upgraded to Windows 10, and am having some issues managing my sync folder. In the Creative Cloud app, I went into the preferences menu and, under the Files tab, chose to move the CC Synced files to a different drive so as not to clog up my solid state C drive. Now, It won't sync them. In the Files tab of the preferences menu, all I get is a blank white screen. In the Files tab of the Assets tab on the main screen, I get an error message: Unable to load Sync location. When I was working in Windows 7, I was able to move the sync folder to the correct drive with no problem. Could this be a bug in the new operating system? Thanks, everyone!-Charlie
