Bonjour, Aujourd'hui j'ai voulu ouvrir avec ADE 4.5.10 un livre et j'ai eu ce message :Error ! Check activationJ'ai pensé un moment que c'était un problème d'autorisation de mon appareil mais il est déjà autorisé.Une petite information : j'ai voulu enlever l'autorisation pour la remettre pensant que cela pourrait résoudre le problème. Je n'ai pas pu, encore une erreur !Si quelqu'un peut m'aider je serai heureux.Marc

Je suis incapable d'effacer l'autorisation d'un Mac dans adobe digital édition. Je reçois systématiquement le message "impossible d'annuler l'autorisation. veuillez essayer ultérieurement". Je suis incapable de télécharger mes ebook ! J'efface et je télécharge à nouveau l'application et j'ai le même résultat. Pourtant mon adobe ID et mot de passe sont fonctionnels. Une solution ?

I accidentally unauthorized my Kobo device but I cannot reauthorize because of the following; 1. If I right click the device name in ADE, ADE will crash every time, 2. If I try the menu options in ADE they are greyed out so won't work. I have tried all of the following several times:  uninstalled / reinstalled ADE, unauthorized / reauthorized ADE, restarted both the laptop and Kobo.  The lovely people at Hive (ebooks) have thrown themselves into trying to help but ulitimately failed to find an answer.  I gave up with the Kobo people who wanted a video to help understand the issue (!?) and asked me to install an older version of ADE (that isn't compatible with my laptop).  And we all know that Adobe don't give 2 hoots about ADE so here I am hoping one of you lovely people might have an answer.

I am using Windows 11 and have bought a book from Kobo, downloaded it. It has DRM so I downloaded ADE but I just get the error message below. Please could some kind knowlegeable person tell me how to fix this so I can get this book on PDF.

I am trying to figure out how to get the digital edition to read outloud to me...I have an e-book and I want it to READ it to me. Please help!

Buongiorno, non riesco ad aprire il mio e-book su androd. Il formato e' acsm epub e da pc riesco ad aprirlo. Nelle impostazione dell'applicazioe dopo aver autorizzato il dispositivo, la finestra autorizza download e' bloccata e se vado ad aprire il file l'applicazione non mi appare da quelle disponibili. Hi there,I’m encountering the error E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED in Adobe Digital Editions.I successfully authorized my Adobe ID and was able to open one book. But when I tried to add a second book, the error appeared.I contacted Adobe chat support, but they told me that all issues related to Adobe Digital Editions must be handled through the forum.I’ve seen similar posts here from other users, and the usual solution seems to be that someone from Adobe resets the activation count on their account.Could someone from the Adobe team please help me reset the activations tied to my Adobe ID?Thanks in advance!

Bonjour,  Lorsque je télécharge un livre de la bibliothèque, je tente de l'ouvrir sur Adobe digital Edition, mais ça m'indique un message d'erreur "E_ACT_NOT_READY". En fouillant, ça dit d'effacer l'autorisation de l'ordinateur, mais là aussi j'ai un message d'erreur qui dit " Impossible d'annuler l'autorisation".  Je me retrouve donc sans solution ! Avez-vous une suggestion?  Merci, 

hello.I just got an Asus Chromebook,  and I cannot make ADE work properly on it. It seems that only a limited version in avaliable on Chrome OS, so I can see my library, but no other options are shown. My Tolino ebook reader is connected and recognised by the laptop, but ADE doesn't see it, so I can't transfer books that I bought. I never had this problem with other Windows based laptops, so I'm guessing the problem is the Chromebook.thanks

seit dem letzten Update, kann Adobe Digital editions die ascm Dateien nicht mehr laden. Fehlermeldung:Keinen Verbindung zum Fulfilmment Server möglich.Die Internetverbindung funktioniert, ich habe das Adobe Programm komplett deinstalliert und neu installiert und den Computer neu registriert. Trotzdem funktioniert es nicht.

Hello,I have been experiencing serious issues with Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) and would appreciate any help.I installed ADE on multiple computers and authorized each with my Adobe ID.Although the authorization process completes successfully, the Digital Editions folder and activation files such as activation.dat do not appear in the %LocalAppData%\Adobe\Digital Editions directory.I have enabled hidden files view, run ADE as administrator, temporarily disabled firewall and antivirus software, and reinstalled ADE on different devices, but the problem remains.I contacted Adobe customer support and followed their instructions to sign out and sign back in, deauthorize and reauthorize, but still face the same issue.Additionally, I purchased an epub.acsm file through Google Play, but ADE fails to open this file due to activation server errors and license issues.Because of this, I cannot access my purchased eBook or use ADE properly.I am very frustrated as the Digital Editions folder and act

Where do I find this to download?

I am trying - as always - to continue reading, but alas the program seems to have stopped working altogether. I have version 4.5. 12 I think, i.e. the last one published.Temporarily a black box opens on the top left of the screen, that is the only reaction I get. From the task bar the program is shown to be active,  in the Task manager it is said to occupy 127 MB of RAM, however there is no reaction anywhere. Alt Tab to jump to the process does not work, I have repeatedly tried this.If I click on the taskbar it gives the usual options of waiting for process or ending process.I am more and more getting frustrated and would have long gone to a different product if it was not where I had academic 70 books inside, all paid for with about 2500 EUR stuck behind the ADE DRM system.  Are there any work arounds?

My public library supports CloudLibrary, which allows me to download books. The books open without any difficulty on my PC. I am also able to transfer them to ADE, and from there to my Kobo.Here's the problem: the books will not open in ADE (the app just sits there) and when I try to open them on the Kobo, I get the "no permission to copy" message. I have tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing but nothing works. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. No luck there either. Is the app just buggy or is there a fix? I am running Windows 11. To Adobe:Digital Editions has many favorable features but lacks a very important feature for non-fiction books: a back-to-previous-view(s) button.  If a book has internal hyperlinks, say between sections, many/most ebook readers allow links to the linked-TO page but no way to easlily get back to the linked-FROM page. For me, an author, implementing a second, reverse-direction link to go back to a page where the reader pressed the original link  is either a pain or impossible, especially if the linked-to location is linked-to from multiple locations. (In such cases, how can a go-back link at the linked-TO page know which linked-FROM page to return to?) That's the case with my ebook, which is loaded with cross-references. I'm tearing my hair out (and don't have much left on my partially-bald head) trying to find a workaround, to no avail. A back-to-previous-view(s) button eliminates that problem completely. For some reason, a high percentage of ebook readers seem to lack this

Hello,I am running ADE 4.5.12 on a Mac, and trying to access an ACSM ebook.However, when opening the ACSM file into ADE, after a few minutes idling it says "Connection error detected" and it is not able to download the ebook.I have tried several fixes but nothing worked:- De-authorising and re-authorising the computer- Connecting to a different WiFi- Reinstalling ADE- Date/Time set correctly- Allowed all incoming connections from Firewall- Tried with different ACSM files.Is there any way to understand where the problem is? Thanks

Kan iemand mij helpen? Ik heb ADE geinstalleerd op mijn macbook M! OS sequoia en het autoriseren lukt niet. Hij pakt de combi ID en wachtwoord niet. Wat kan ik doen?

Buenas tardes, me he descargado en mi ordenador windows 7 version 6.1 el adobe digital editions y es con el programa que se me abre los libros que me descargo en formato epub. Cuando me paso el libro a la tarjeta sd en mi libro electronico me sale ACCESO DENEGADO. COMPRUEBE TU LICENCIA ADOBE DRM, no sé que tengo que hacer pero no me deja leer el libro claro. Gracias de antemano.  

hello, i need do read ebook's loked in adobe digital edition but i'm using MAC apple M1 can you help me? 

I bought mi first DRM ebook, i was thinking it will smooth and seamless as a phisical book (buy, open, read).No i had to register an adobe account, download an adobe software, download a small file from the book's vendor, open the file using the adobe software and finally copy the book to my Kobo.Very booring, but i did, at the last step the adobe software says CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED.After a month, even with the vendor support i still cant read my ebook.The adobe support is useless, as the vendor support.the only suggestion is "try again".  

My Adobe has stopped allowing me to move library books from my PC to my KOBO (both show authorized on the ADE. the message reads : CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy book.  It used to work. Any easy fixed for me?(I already tried uninstall and re-install)

I like borrowing e-books from the library, but I get head and neck aches with the pages jumping from one to the next--reading to the very bottom of the screen, then the screen flashing to the next page where I have to go back to the top of the screen.  In Reader there is an option to "enable scrolling" of pages, which makes reading so much easier.  I can't find any options at all in ADE.  Plus, I'm so used to pages scrolling in other programs that I automatically reach for the mouse wheel, then, of course, have to go back and hunt for the page where I was.Windows Vista Home SP2, on a desktop computerADE 4.0.2.ADE 4.5 is downloading nowThanks for any suggestions.
