Digital Editions

Got this Error every few month.Any quick or further solution for this Problem.Thanx for your help.

Greetings,I cannot get Adobe Digital Editions to download and install. It stopped working about a month ago and I was able to use it by deleting and reloading ADE. Now every time I try to load ADE I get a black square with an orange border and the phrase “Loading Library”. (see image below) So far I have tried deleting and reloading, going to “authorizing and de-authorizing” it did nothing as ADE does not download, I even deleted my Adobe account and reloaded using my wife’s email.Just FYI I have communicated with 5 Adobe techs and gotten NO HELPPlease help me as this is one of our primary ways of passing the time IE reading ebooks that we download from several different libraries. 

Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet.Digital Editions was working fine two days ago..now I get this message everytime I try to open an ebook.

The newest version of Adobe Digital Editions is not launching on my computer (Windows 10). I have tried reinstalling, opening in admin, and deleting My Digital Editions folders. None of the above has worked. Downloading and using an older version of ADE is not desirable because then I have to somehow relicense all of my purchased content for the older version. A similar problem arises if you reinstall ADE into a different file location, because then licensing/authorization issues arise again. 

Hi, I just installed Digital Editions on my mac and an Ipad, on the mac I can read a book that I just bought but when I tried to open in the Ipad, I get an error taht says that tehere is a problem communicating with the Licence Server witha an error code: W_ADEPT_CORE WRONG_DEVICE_TYPE in IOS 14.6 

I'm trying to authorize my computer (MAc , EL capitan) but Thi smessages keeps getting back. I tried the keychain, and there is any device autorized so can't deauthorize... I 'd like to open some borrowed e-books from the library. CAn someone help me please? 🙂

can't figure it out.  i know i'm using the correct credentials.  but when i try to access my book on my nook, it's saying that my user name or password is incorrect.  i've even changed my password online to try to affect it, but to no avail..

I have set up digital editions on both my computers with the same authorization ID so that I can have access to my books from both devices. But when I set up bookshelves on one device, this did not sync to the other device. Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks!

I purchased some eBooks, but I didn't know they required Adobe Digital Edition.  So I downloaded it and created an Adobe account, but I can't open any books with bookshelf.  I get a dialog asking for an account number, but I can't find one?  That plus the only support is here, making it a frustrating journey for something totally simple. James

Hi, I attempted installing ADE on my windows 10 dell computer so I could read/study an e-textbook using Adobe Digital Editions, but the dowloaded program doesnt let me. I was able to install the app on my tablet, but having difficulty reading the material on my computer using ADE. Can someone help me?

Bonjour!Je n'ai ni changé d'ordinateur, ni cahngé de Kobo.  J'ai simplement dû me déconnecter de mon compte puis em reconnecter... mais depuis, il m'est impossible d'autoriser mon périphérique.  Je reçois le message "Nombre maximal de machines autorisées par ID atteint."Et sans cette autorisation, je ne peux ouvrir/lire de livres empruntés sur ma Kobo...Que dois-je faire?Merci!

 Bonjour,J'ai téléchargé des livres de prêt numériques et jusqu'ici, ils apparaîssaient dans Adobe Digital Editions. Depuis quelques temps, je n'ai plus de rubriques "emprunté", "achat" mais uniquement biblioroms. je ne peux donc plus mettre les livres sur ma liseuse. Quand j'essaye de les insérer par la partie fichier ajouter à la bibliothèque, il me dit qu'ils sont déjà dans la bibliothèque mais je ne les vois pas. J'ai essayé sur deux ordinateurs différents mais le bug reste le même.Merci pour votre aide, Sarah

I have a Kobo H2o. I have dowloaded many books from my pubic library using Adobe Digital Editions. Now, when I try to open a dowloaded book, I get "Your eReader is not authorized to open this book". When I check my "Accounts" settings, it confirms that my Kobo is authorized with Adobe. I have "deauthorized" my account many times and "Authorized" it again, I have even deauthorized my computer and erased Adobe and reloaded it again. I have done a factory reset 3 times and even tried a different computer. Can anyone help me figure this out please?

I want to transfer my class note (pdf) to Kobo, but all documents name become "Understanding child and MIP..." can i change the name of pdf shown in KOBO?

I bought a textbook from my university's bookstore and while I can open it in ADE, almost any time I try to highlight anything, the program just instantly closes with no error message. I am running version 4.5.11.187303

Salve, sono giorni che provo a caricare un ebook preso da mlol ma ogni volta mi inserisce il libro con la copertina nera e mi dice che il mio ereader non è autorizzato.Ho provato molte volte la procedura descritta su help.kobo senza risultati. Vorrei sapere se posso risolvere in qualche modo. Ho letto che si potrebbe risolvere con la vecchia versione di ADE ma non si trova da nessuna parte..Grazie in anticipo

I have been using my textbook for the last 4 days to study and take notes. I have paid for my textbook and have not had any difficulties copying text over to my notes until now. Why did it stop working all of a sudden?

(ACSM file) problem (locked book). Adobe digital editions won't open my book and says that error with license, already used by another user. Somone on the phone told me that I need to erase authorization on my past computer (my past computer is long dead and gone)... What am I suppose to do to get to the book I paid for??

Hello all.I´m posting a question, I have wrtitten to Adobe about, but never recieved an answer to.Maybe someone in here can clear it up:Dear Adobe We are considering buying a Content Server solution [...] for distributing binders [...]. But we became aware of at problem: Is it really possible to buy a Digital Editions Ebook, download it (open it in Digital Editions), and then later choose to print it out as a file? I seems to me, that I actual - in Digital Editions - can choose Microsoft XPS Document Writere as my printer. The result is a XPS file, thats looks like the original, but has no DRM on it at all. Am I overlooking something?Kind regardsIs this really possible?

I have had extensive issues with DRM using ADE 4.5.11. I had to go through a 13 step process to reset the Kobo, uninstall and reinstall ADE, and reauthorise, etc. etc.  every time I'd like new books from my library. On my most recent reset I've come up against a too  many activations error. I've followed the steps in support pages with no success. The error messsage tells me to contact Adobe to have the activation number reset, but I can't figure out how to get in toch with someone who can do this. The support chat employee I was talking with told me he's not trained on anything but Adobe Acrobat and referred my to this forum. Can anyone help? I'm pretty frustrated.

Digital Book seems to appear "frozen" It is not able to proceed throughout the book nor to utilize the search feature. "Sometimes" turning it off and on helps, but it always freezes up again.
