Digital Editions

I understand most people reading this forum may not be familiar with writing music scores, but could someone still offer an explanation why most numbers at the bottom of the pages are missing in my epub file? I tried opening the file with a different epub reader, in which it was displayed correctly, so it's clearly an ADE problem. At first, I thought maybe it was a font issue, since the document is using a special music font. But if that were the case, shouldn't ALL numbers be omitted? The attached pdf shows exactly what the epub file should look like. I'm using Windows 10 and ADE 4.5.2.Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I have a book within Adobe Digital Editions. However, I need 60+ people to be able to access. How do I convert this to a standard PDF document in order for me to upload to SharePoint so my team can view it?

Hello,I have a KOBO Glo, which I have had for about 7 years.  I often borrow books from my local library, and up until one wek ago, I did not have any troubles.When I bought the eReader, I downloaded Digial Editions, and made sure to authorize both the software (ADE) and the eReader itself.It was working great up until one week ago.I tried to get a book from the library and I received the "eReader is not authorized to read this book" message.  This is odd because I downloaded two books last week, and one of them worked fine (fine as in I could read it on the eReader), and the other got this message.My ADE and eReader are both authorized, and the AdobeID Number is the same on both.Now any books that I try to put on the eReader also gives me that "eReader is not authorized" message.I do not know how all of a sudden the eReader can ust stop and not recognize any books now.I do not know if there are any changes that have happened with online Library Book rentals or with ADE itsel

I inherited a work project involving 100's  of journal articles and reference notes for use in a PhD thesis. The documents I want to use are begin sold in .acsm format. All DRM issues will be taken care of.I am looking for ideas how to go from acsm to .pdf or Microsoft Word. Will Adobe Digital Editions work for me or do I have to find an other solution? 

Hello!I am in need of help with Adobe Digital Editions 4.5. I have long been using ADE on my previous laptop, but recently switched devices.When I open the app and try to go to the next page, the content doesn't change. It stays stuck on the first screen no matter the file. Using the space bar, page up/down key, or the next navigation via the software all result in this. That is, all pages on every single file are, for all intents and purposes, exactly the same as Page 1. There is no problem with these files, it's definitely ADE with reference to my device.I am not entirely certain if this issue has been there since the very first time I downloaded ADE onto this device or if it cropped up a couple times into use of ADE.I can say, however, that I did change user accounts a bit (and so folder associations might also have changed) and I don't know if this would affect ADE's internal folders. I have two step verification (alsoc called 2FA or MFA) activiated on my Adobe Account. I have no problem to sign in to my Adobe Actobat Reader on my iPad. As I sign in Acrobat reader asks for the 6 digit 2FA code and the password separately In the Adobe Digital Editions app there are only two fields. Username (e-mail) and password. There is no two step verification field and therefore the login fails. I read a post that you can add the OTP (one time password) to the end of the PW and I tried that as passwordXXXXXX and password:XXXXXX  (adding the : as it was not clear in the post if to do so or not) Neither worked. Question: How to sign in to Digital Editions on an iPad with two step verification enabled?

Hello all! I created a Fixed Layout EPUB file that my organization is selling through Edition Guard and securely opens up Digital Editions. A big user experience issue we are running into is that nothing when users select the "aA" resize option on their desktops. Also, if users try the zoom control ("command"+"+") nothing happens either. Users ARE able to resize on touchscreen devices such as their phones and tablets. Is there an export setting or user setting that will fix this? Thank you in advance for your help!   

I get the error E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS when trying to activate digital editions on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Android Tablet. I have already viewed the support page for this error, and it suggested contacting Adobe to have the activation count reset. I have contacted Adobe thru the support chat, and they could not help me. I need Adobe digital editions working, as I rely on this app for school. I have only used this app on the tablet, and have not authorized Adobe digital editions anywhere else. Thanks!

I have authorized my Kobo, and downloaded a book from my library. but am still not able to read the book. what step am i missing? 

Hello! I haven't used my Kobo in a few years to read library books. Today, I decided to try using it again. I had to reset my password to regain access to my Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) account. I am able to download books from  OverDrive to ADE. When I connected my ereader to my computer, I was able to drag the library book from recently added to my ereader. However, when I disconnected from my computer, and tried to open the book on my Kobo, the error message told me I had to reauthorize my eReader. I have tried deauthorizing this e-reader (even though ADE tells me it is authorized) and reauthorizing it. I got the folowing message: "This book is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Because you previously deauthorized your eReader you need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions". I have tried doing this multiple times, deleting the old copies of the book from ADE and my Kobo and redownloading from the libary. I even signed out a new book from the

The top line on every page is unreadable because of the iphones shape. Is there a way to reduce the page size? As making the text larger or smaller still has the same outcome

Hello, In March 2021, I spent a Pro Tools “Certified User PT101-110” training course with the apaxxdesigns training center in Paris. As such, I had access, via my Avid account, to the 2 e-books:_ Pro Tools 101: Pro Tools Fundamentals I 2020/21 ebook_ Pro Tools 110: Pro Tools Fundamentals II 2020/21 In order to be able to read them, I had to install the Adobe digital edition application. I was able to open the 2 e-books on the training center computer, but despite a multitude of manipulations, I am unable to reopen these 2 e-books on my personal computer. It is possible that I made handling errors on my addresses, or choosing an anonymous activation option. These 2 e-books are an essential resource for my professional career. This training paid off, and it is essential to be able to benefit from these tools. Message: Error obtaining the license. When I try to open a book in Digital Editions, I click on the right arrow, but the cover stays put, although below the cover it shows the pages as moving forward. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but nothing changed.

HiActually i bought an e textbook for which i was supposed to download Abode digital edition. I did that and completed the authorisation, but my e- text wasn't opening. So, when i contacted the bookstore, they asked be to de- authorise my account and then re- authorise it using different password. I did that too but now i am facing trouble in re- authorising my account because it says that my password is incorrect. I got help from your team, they sent me password change link and i changed my password too, but still i am not able to re= authorise my account. Please help me with this issue as i need to access my e- textbook as soon as possible. i am even attaching screenshot of the issue that i am facing.

Hi, I just installed the Adobe Digital Editions Application for reading e - Books ( In .pdf & .epub ) formats. However, I am facing issues to save / export the markups made to the e -books, so that I can retreive it for future use ( in the same or different device ). Hope you get my concern. Thanks. Yugal

Hello. I am a post-secondary student trying to course work with my online textbook through Digital Editions. It is constantly crashing any time I attempt to copy/paste anything into my class/text notes documents for later studying. I don't understand how a company that used to be the absolute cutting edge of technology can't even develop an e-reader application that works without crashing when using the most BASIC functions of a computer. This is embarrassing. I am upset I was forced to spend my money on this waste of an app, even more so when I think about having to fight with it for the next 4 months. If it wasn't for the fact that I can't get my textbook through any other e-reader application, I would never use Digital Editions again and make sure everybody I know knows not to spend their money on it. I am also going to be advising my college not to source any of their textbooks through this application ever again. Adobe Flash Player goes offline and the whole company goes to sh!t.

buenos dias, he tenido un problema con la autorizacion del equipo y el Adobe ID.la cuenta de correo con la que cree la ID de Adobe, ya no existe, la cerraron en el 2019. la cuenta a la que migre la direccion de correo original no ha detectado el cambio y un par de libros que tenia no los puedo abrir. me sale este error que adjunto "este equipo no esta autorizado a abrir_______debido a que este elemento esta autorizado para un ID de otro proveedor. para autorizar al equipo a que abra este elemento, introduzca el ID y la contraseña de inicio de sesion asociados a este elemento."como esa direccion  con la que abri al principio no existe, no puedo asociarlos...como puedo migrar de una ID a otra diferente los libros que tenia?
