Estoy intentando transferir libros desde ADE a mi e-reader, pero no me lo reconoce y aunque sigo todos los pasos no me lo identifica como nuevo dispositivo y por lo tanto no puedo autorizarlo. He comprobado que es compatible, ya que es un Sony.PRS T1

Please note the following points:-1. The problem is with Adobe Digital Editions.2. Adobe did confirm when I asked, that my copy is authorised satisfactorily.3. I have updated to the latest versions of Overdrive and Adobe Digital Editions on Ipad and PC running Windows 10.5. Overdrive works perfectly and enables me to download library books and read them.6. The same books  do not appear in Adobe Digital Editions or as files in the 'My Digital Editions' folder.7. Adobe Digital Editions recognises my Kobo, but I am unable to transfer the books because they do not appear in Adobe Digital Editions.Please could you supply me with some helpful advice. I cannot understand why the books that I borrowed do not appear in both. I tried downloading a further book to see if it appeared. It shows in Overdrive but does not appear in Adobe Digital Editions.Many thanks for your helpDavid

I have created an adobe ID and have downloaded an overdrive book for our library.  When the digital edition opens after i click on my downloaded book, I am asked to authorise my computer. I am selecting Adobe ID as the ebook vendor and using my adobe user name and password, but I keep getting error message " Incorrect Login ID or password for the selected ebook vendor. Please try again" I have checked that the login and password are correct...Any ideas?

i has a Sony e-reader using "reader for pc" from several years but recently i meet problem to open e-book and Kobo said me that this system is not supported anymore and to use Adobe Digital Edition. I already have ADE 4.5 but apparently the Adobe DRM document remain protected and visible only on my pc because my computer authorization is not associated to an Adobe ID. I tried to change it but the system give me an error message "detected error on activation server - E_AUTH_NOT_READY .... the results is that i'm not able to use my e-reader anymore, Kobo say that this is a problem of ADE and Adobe said me to looking for solution on forum.honestly not great support but i hope someone can help me.

I use to have ePub downloading working on Adobe Digital Edition 4.5  I now get the message:  Unable to download.  Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12One of the forum suggestions was to Erase Computer Authorization which I have tried to do, but it comes up after completing the User ID and Password as saying  " Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try some other time".  I've been trying for two days and same message.  I've confirmed my Adobe ID and Password are correct. Any suggestions on how to Erase Authorization so I can re-instate it with the hope that this will fix the issue.PS: I've also changed the KeyChain Settings per another suggestion on a forum. Cannot copy books into my Nook - CE_Copy Not Allowed - No permission to copy

I'm using ADE 4.5 and get the following error when trying to open a .acsm file:E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKNOWNIt says that it can't communicate with license server. I tried with ADE 2.0 but got the same error. My PC is correctly authorized with my Adobe ID. Hi.I just bought a ITIL Foundations PDF and followed the instructions:1. Installed ADE on Windows2. Dowloaded ACSM file3. Opened ADE4. Created Adobe IDThen I follwed instructions on how to read the same PDF on my mobile Android5. Download the app6. Sign in with Adobe ID7. send the file to my mobile (both PDF and ACSM)8. open the file with ADE on mobile. ---> NOTHING HAPPENS (tried with both PDF and ACSM file).HOW CAN I TROUBLESHOOT?Thanks

I am unable to authorize the digital edition for overdrive. I am using the same user id and password that of Overdrive account. I still get the error "Incorrect Login Id or password for the selected ebook vendor."How do I resolve the issue.

My goal is to download a library EPUB book and then transfer to my Nook. I am using the most current version of ADE as of April 2019 with a Barnes and Noble Nook. I am opening ADE before plugging the Nook into the USB port as recommended, and using Windows 10 on a PC, but the Nook device does not show up on ADE. I am able to download and read a library book on the PC, but neither dragging and dropping the file into the Nook internal storage or ADE on the Nook allows me to transfer the book. Help would be appreciated! I have rebooted the Nook, updated the ADE to current software, but still no luck.

I keep getting E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12 even though I've had success many many times on my mac. I've updated, uninstalled and reinstalled, unauthorized and reauthorized both the nook at the Digital Editions. What else can I do to read my library book? Through overdrive I can read the download on my phone, so there is no problem there. Why can't I read it on my computer???? I don't understand why this just started happening after many uses. I even tried clearing out Every single associated file... nothing...

Hello all,I wonder if any one has had this error?It just happened with me - I was halfway through downloading my books from Kobo, and opening them in Digital Editions, and then this error popped up.I've uninstalled ADE & re-installed it, I've tried it in edition 2.0, 3.0, and 4.5 - still the same error. I've enven deleted the Adept file from the registry and re-registered it - but still the error pops up 😞Has anyone had any luck with this?Thanks

Is it possible to authorize an Windows 10 Mobile -device for Overdrive to open Adobe-protected eBooks from the local library?I got this bizarre error message; There is nothing wrong with my device date syntax. Here in Finland we normally use dd/mm/year. Do you ever in Adobe think any other region than Northern part of America.

In seguito ad una riparazione del Mac effettuata da un centro abilitato Apple a Bologna,  Adobe digital editions non mi consente di scaricare ebook protetti DRM, la procedura di rimozione dell'autorizzazione non va a buon fine e nel menu a tendina, dopo l'inserimento della password, appare la scritta: provare piu tardi. Ormai sono mesi che sono bloccata ed anche l'assistenza telefonica Apple non ne è venuta a capo.Come posso forzare la rimozione dell'autorizzazione del computer all'applicazione Adobe digital Editions?Grazie

I can't open certain DRM books which I transfered (via Adobe Digital Editions) from my PC to my e-book-reader, because they are "encrypted" (original message: "verschlüsselte Daten"). Both devices are activated with the same Adobe ID, I double checked that (even deleted and re-authorized). I tried downloading a new ebook directly from Download-Link to the reader but failed (i.e. it didn't download/open the URLLink-1.acsm file).As I can open certain other DRM books, I checked the file information and found the following (translated from German to English):licenced for: [my Adobe ID]Show (read?): on every devicecopy: not allowedprinting: not allowedDoes that mean, I can read the book only on my PC (the only way for me to download the books in the first place)? When I download library books they do not appear in ADE. Then ADE will not allow me close it or use any of the buttons. This program was working fine I was travelling and getting books from the library regularly with no problems.I have tried uninstalling it and downloading it again then unauthorising then reauthorising but it still won't work.I have tried installing the version 3 but I get an activation error.I need help as I can't get books onto my KOKBO e-reader.Robyn

Hello community,I am trying to open my Adobe Digital Editions installed on Windows 7 Enterprise from my company but it does not work anymore. When I installed it few months ago it was working properly, now not any more.I can see the SW opens from the task bar right clicking the icon, but when I click on the icon, the window slides out as it would open into another screen...that I don't have, btw. I also checked the multiple screen settings but nothing..no window opens but the SW is running.What can I do? apart from calling my IT who will not solve this problem I am pretty sure as it cannot be related to system settings.Has anyone experienced the same?
