Hi all,I am trying to migrate video from a DVCAM tape using Sony "Digital HD Videocassette Recorder". I have connected it to my computer and an Osprey capture card is installed on the computer.I am using Adobe Premiere to do the capture, but unfortunately its showing that "Capture Device is offline".Please help .RegardsBetty

Hi,I was previously using ADE 4.5.10 to view particular documents from a vendor that were subscription based.With no change to my system, when I went to open the documents in my library, the following error appeared.  The vendor files are activated by acsm files.  It does not occur on any other documents I have in my library, with the only notable difference is that the other documents I have are ebooks versus acsm files.  I have contacted the vendor, and they have indicated there is no issue from their end. I have performed the following troubleshooting actions:checked PC time is automaticdeauthorised/reauthorised my accountuninstalled/reinstalled ADE on my PCremoved ADE from all other devicesuninstalled, and removed ADE files from PC registry, reinstalledtried version 3.0 of ADECould anybody assist?Regards,Rohan

I have been downloading library books to my kobo from my laptop.  I tried downloading books on to my husband's kobo from the same laptop and although the books transfer they will not open (message says he is not authorized with Adobe Digital Editions).  I have created a separate adobe digitals account for him.  I tried deauthorizing and still was unable to get a book to open for him.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I recently bought a reader but I can not activate the device for DRM. It's a Tagus Gaia: it's the one from "La Casa del Libro" book shop. Could someone tell me how to solve the problem? Thank you very much.

Hey,I'm sure this question been asked multiple times now. I'm seeing it in the thread. But how do I FIX the WHITE SCREEN on ADE 4.5. I'm downloading books from the library and it won't open in ADE like it use to do. Now all i get is a WHITE SCREEN. I've tried all the suggestion but nothing works. I see this issue going back as far as 2017. But the kicker it works fine on my coworkers computer w/t no WHITE SCREEN and he's able to get his ebook from the library. Using a Window 10 & ADE 4.5 (tired 3.0 version also)Any help would be great.

Hello, I have an Adobe ID connected with my local library. I managed to use Adobe Digital Editions on my first android phone (Huawei) with this Adobe ID - I can download and read ebooks from my library. But when I try to use the same Adobe ID accound on another android phone (Xiaomi) I can not do it. I install Adobe Digital Editions and I get some kind of default activated accound with my name (maybe smehow connected with my google account?). if I want to deauthorise this account i have to do it without password (I get message that this wil be deauthorised only locally). Then I try to authorise my Adobe ID account and can not do it - i get erro E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY. What to do? I tried deauthorising my primary Adobe ID account (on Huawei phone) and uninstalling Adobe digital Editions there, but doesn't help. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Digital Editions on second phone, but doesn't work...

I decided to use the Adobe "Digital Edition" of my textbook. I did all my highlights in it, but one of the times I opened it, the program wrote over my annotations file and I lost every bookmark. I tried to revert to an older version of the file, but it was from a month ago with maybe 20% of the bookmarks. I cannot believe there is no warning about this on the product. I now wish I had never used it. Is there any way to get the bookmarks back is they get overwritten and there's no backup of a recent version?

HiI managed to re-activate ADE (timezone and time was wrong).Now I am getting the following error with about half the books in my library.

I installed digital Editions 4.5.To download Ebook, I had to authorize this PC. I could not find my Adobe ID, so I selected “I want to authorize my computer without an ID”. Ebook was downloaded and worked fine.In the meantime I have found my Adobe ID. So I change PC authorization to this ID. Now Ebook does not want to open stating:Authorization Needed This computer needs to be authorized with a Vendor ID to open Summary of the First 90 Days. To start the authorization process with a Vendor ID, click Continue button.The next page asks for ebook Vendor's Adobe ID. What is a Vendor ID?The result I need is for this eBook to be linked to my Adobe ID so that I may read on other deives (PC, ipad, iphone).ThanksFrancois

I see a few questions on this website in reference double page view for PDFs in Digital Editions 3, but no answer. Please let me know if I'm just missing the option in the software or let me know if this option will be available in the future.

Hallo,ich habe mir ADE heruntergeladen, um e-books aus der Online Bibliothek zu lesen. Beim Download von ADE hatte ich keinerlei Probleme, doch nun, wenn ich mir die Bücher herunterlade und sie öffnen möchte, werden diese nicht von ADE gefunden. Daher ist kein Öffnen der Datei möglich. Wenn ich auf meinem PC im Ordner Downloads auf die entsprechende Datei klicke, so erscheint das Feld "Möchten Sie zulassen, dass durch diese App Änderungen an Ihrem Gerät vorgenommen werden?". Wenn ich dies nun akzeptiere, öffnet sich lediglich wieder ADE, aber die Datei selbst kann ich trotzdem nicht finden und öffnen.Weiß daher jemand, was das Problem ist oder was ich falsch mache?

I can download a book but the adobe screen shows blank and I am not able to pull up titles I have downloaded.  When I go to Calibre and add the book it does just fine.  Why does the screen show blank in Adobe and why can I not see my books I have uploaded.Thanks, Pat

My Digital Editions locked up when I was trying to move a book to my Nook. I had to close it through the task manager. When I went back in, most of my bookshelf on Digital Editions was deleted. I restarted my computer to see if that would help but it did not. Please help. Thank you.

Every single time I want to download a book from the library, I have to uninstall ADE then reinstall it.  This started about 6 weeks ago.  When I open ADE there is nothing there.  I download what I want from the library, transfer it to my reader and close it.  When I reopen ADE there is nothing there.  Uninstall, reinstall, repeat.  You get the picture.  As far as I can see Adobe is USELESS at problem solving.  I have NO problem downloading the program, just getting it to work for me more than once.  I am BEYOND frustrated!  PLEEEEEEEEEEASE, someone, figure this out!

I have the book open on ADE, I just want to grab the EPUB for reading on a reader I have installed on my phone; it isn't related to Adobe, but it's the best Ereader I've found.

I installed the Adobe Digital Edition app on my Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. Whenever I launch the app a message pops up saying: Enable Verify AppsVerify Apps, a Google utility to help secure your device, is not currently enabled. The two options are Don't ask again and enable. When I tap don't ask again the message goes away and I have access to my publications. Each opens without further messages. However, when I close and reopen the Adobe Digital Edition app the message reappears. If I tap enable it takes me to the biometrics and security section of my phone. I've gone through each section and I don't see anything related to verifying apps. In addition, when I search the phone for a utility named Verify Apps it’s not found.Does anyone know how to fix this?

My local library allows you to download books into ADE. When I select "download epub book" it opens ADE and the popup window shows that it has loaded completely but then stalls and ADE stops responding and the popup window stays up. I have tried redownloading the app, reauthorizing and even the registry editor trick but the app continues to stop responding the minute I try to download a book.

Buenas tardes, se que este tema se trató en otro foro, pues ya he leído e intentado solucionar el problema, aparentemente primero leí mi libro sin un ID y formatee mi máquina, ahora no puedo leerlo de nuevo ni con 5 IDs que he creado, con 5 correos diferentes, el proveedor me envió de nuevo el link para descargar el libro, pero al intentarlo descargar con mi cuenta inicial dice que el documento esta bloqueado por otro usuario, y con mis otras cuentas dice que pertenece a otra cuenta, esto es en realidad muy malo para nosotros los usuarios de libros legales y los proveedores que esperan que la gente no adquiera productos piratas, espero puedan ayudarme a darle solución a este inconveniente pues no es justo que paguemos por un artículo y que nuestro proveedor nos lo entregue pero por un intermediario como lo es ADOBE, no podamos acceder a usarlo como es nuestro derecho, gracias

I should preface this by saying that this is purely a result of my personal experience and reading through the support forums.That said, so far as I can tell the following really does reflect reality.I can speak from personal experience that a change of physical OS drive will result in a non-match with the profile on the server; the cloned drive would not handshake, but when I put the old drive back, it worked fine, and was able to be deauthorized properly, allowing the replacement drive to then be authorized.-----Adobe Digital Editions will allow a maximum of 6 devices to be authorized at any given time for a unique Adobe ID.The Adobe Authorization Server stores information concerning each device which is currently authorized.You can only unauthorize a device from the installation of Adobe Digital Editions on that device.IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE ADOBE ID OWNER TO DEAUTHORIZE A DEVICE THAT NO LONGER MATCHES THE PROFILE ON THE ADOBE AUTHORIZATION SERVER, NOR TO DEAUTHORIZE A DEVICE NO

I just cloned my OS drive on my Windows 10 Desktop computer, and now Adobe Digital Editions refuses to authorize, etc.I did confirm that everything is still working fine with my laptop, which is running the exact same build of Windows 10; it had no problems downloading a new purchase via .acsmWhen I first opened Digital Editions this evening, I got a message to the effect that it wasn't succeeding in making a connection to Adobe to validate my installation.When I tried to download, using a .acsm file, It refused, saying I wasn't authorized.When looking at the status of my installation under the help tab, it listed it as being a valid activation.However, when attempting to deauthorize, I got the standard bit about not being able to do so at this time, please try again later.So, after browsing through all the previous entries for weird stuff, and seeing the boilerplate response...I uninstalled Digital Editions, wiped the Registry, reinstalled Digital Editions, and attempted to authorize.
