Can I erase an existing user authorization and register with new adobe ID? Please help to sort this.

Digital editions 4.5.8 installs but will not run or integrate with downloaded epub ebooks.Tried all versions and all compataibility OS,s.Worked fine on old win 10 laptop.Anyone with similr issues or solutions.

I can not download e books from the public library to my Kobo e readerI get the error  E LIC ALREADY FULFILLED BY ANOTHER USER

Keeping getting error message "Document is licensed for a different user account". Have tried reinstalling, tried deleting from library and bringing back in, opened webcase 4 months ago (no response) and again today (doubt I'll get response). Any advice?

I tried to authorize my computer with Adobe ID, but it just keep showing me some error.After I disabled the two-step authorization, I can authorize my computer.

My school uses this application for its books, and it is so slow and choppy that it becomes inconvenient. Will there be an update any time soon to fix this problem?

Having an issue with bookmarks, highlights and notes not syncing between devices with ADE 4.5. My highlights and bookmarks on one device are not being transferred to the second device when the same document is opened.

I have several eBooks. I used to be able to read them on my PC. Now I cannot. Double-clicking them simply directs me to the Adobe Digital Editions web page. I have signed into my account but can find NOTHING that tells me how to read my (paid for) eBooks. I do not know why I can no longer read them. Is this a Windows 10 thing or a "new, upgraded, updated (but useless)" Adobe thing? I am tired of going around and around in circles trying to find simple up-front instructions on what I should do to restore my ability to read my books. I have downloaded and installed the latest Acrobat Reader. I do NOT want to read my books on mobile devices. I do not own a Kindle or similar. Help please. If I cannot resolve this I will not purchase any more eBooks and will not patronise Adobe again. It's just too hard!

I have bought a new Kobo and cannot authorize it because an older email and account exist. I cannot deauthorize the old one despite numerous attempts over several days. I contacted the help line, they changed my old id email address to the new one and new password etc. but I still cannot deauthorize the old account. I was assured that my new ID works and it does to access my new account but I still cannot authorize my new Kobo. They suggested I post my question on this forum. I hope someone has the answers.

Because ADE is so slow (it stops responding while trying to transfer a book to my Kobo), I tried a way suggested in this form. I open the file from ADE in explorer, then copy paste the file to my Kobo. It works, and when I turn on my Kobo it tells me I have new books downloaded. However, when I try to open the book on my Kobo it says "This document is protected by the Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID. Please sign- in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again".  I reconnected my Kobo to my computer and ADE says it is authorized.Any suggestions? Thank you!!! I bought a book and am trying to get it on my ereader. I have an old Sony reader PRS-T2.The book is secured but for some reason I cannot get it on my ereader. Adobe Digital Editions cannot find my e reader? My pc does find it, but I cannot just copy the file to my reader because it is an .acsm file (secured). Also, I can also not autorize my pc because it says my AdobeID isn't correct, even though I just created it half an hour ago and I am sure it is correct. Also, in my browser on the adobe website I can login with these credentials.What to do?

Hello,for two month now I use ADE. Everything worked fine until three days ago. When I started my laptop (Dell - Windows 10) and tried to open ADE, it did not open / run the program. The only thing i saw twice was the blue windows "processing-circle" near to the cursor. I deinstalled and reinstalled ADE but so far nothing changed.I would be greatful for some help here as I need to continue reading these books for an exam.Best regards!

Hello, why Digital editions continues to show books in my library that I returned? There is a black and gray book icon with a "new" banner on it and a little cloud in the left corner. I delete them, they reappear with each new download. It's really embarrassing.

I have a Nook Glowlight 3 and regularly get library books from Overdrive.  I have been downloading the books to my computer via ADE and then transferring them to my Nook.  Recently some of the books have not been transferring correctly.  They appear in the MyFiles section of my library but when I click on them it forces me to connect to the internet and then sign in to ADE. It usually requires me to sign in twice and then tells me the book cannot be opened because it has been returned. Even though it has not been returned and can still be opened and read on ADE on my computer.  This is not happening to all the books only some of them.  It is EXTREMELY annoying and has only been happening recently but it is happening to more and more books. Any ideas on the solution?

I have installed adobe digital editions on my smartphone after havec installed on my PC. Impossible to read the books on this device, but after that impossible to read on my PC too! And impossible to read on my sony T1 reader too.A pop up message syas that I can't use Adobe on more than one device!What's that rotten stuff??

'Automatically download synced books to this device' is checked.I also installed ADE on my Android phone and authorised it with the same ID. Auto download is enabled.I've added a book to my library in ADE on my Mac but it does not appear on my phone.I've also added a book to my library in ADE on my phone but it does not appear on my Mac.The sync feature across devices doesn't seem to be working - can you please investigate.

I wanted to authorise my e reader on Adobe Digital Editions but I can't find the button devices even though I connected my ereader to my computer.

I am extremely disappointed by this software. I purchased an e-book requiring that I use ADE and authorized my computer to download it, then I went to authorize another device with the same Adobe ID, but received the following error message: "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again"This being the case, how am I supposed to view my purchase on 6 other devices like I am supposed to be able to do? Create a separate user ID for each device I want to download it to? If so, how can I then transfer my purchases between devices? Plus, Adobe offers no support for this free software (at least not via chat or over the phone). Thus, after being on the phone with the vendor, removing it from my library, being issued another link to download the purchase, de-authorizing my computer, re-authorizing it again, downloading the new link to ADE on my computer, signing out, and trying to re-au

This is my problem:  I downloaded a library book to ADE and from there to my Kobo, but am unable to open it on the Kobo - it gives the message:  "your ereader is not authorized to open this book"I contacted Kobo support and they gave me a long list of instructions: 1. Delete the book from the Kobo please 2.Deauthorize ADE with the eReader 3.Deauthorize ADE with the computer 4. Delete the book from ADE 5. Delete the book from the computer ( usually you have a downloads file and a my adobe digital editions file) delte the book from both 6. Delete ADE 7. Download ADE version 3.0 8. Who designed this and why has there seemingly been no effort to improve it in years? The program doesn't save highlights. I've lost 4 books and hundreds of highlights thanks to this piece of sh*t program.The annotation files when loaded produce nothing. There are countless threads on this and Adobe never resolves it. You should pull the program rather than continuing to waste peoples time.
