Digital Editions

Hey I can't download and open a book in Ibooks from ADE, I really need help. It says that the book has an error.

I've bought 2 books on Google Books and dowload them as epub files and next read them at my PC with Adobe Digital Editions. I'd like to download and read them also on my PocketBook Touch Lux 2. The device is already authorized, but when I want to read both of them there are only one blank page. On my PB there is only cover visited and nothing else.I've try to download one of this books as pdf to my PB and it's okey. But what about epub files? Second book has only that format of file and I've wanted to read it on my e-book reader, not on PC.

I would like to save my form responses in their PDF form, not just aggregate data on excel, how do I do this?

For many tears I have had ADE running successfully.  Last week this programme threw a tantrum and needed reloading, Now the App opens, searches for the library and does so ad Infinitum without actually opening/loading the library.I run Window 10 and the EPub books are (and always have been) stored in a file calle "My Digital Editions". can anyone suggest what I need to do?  Adone seem to be incommunicado so this forum is my last hope.Frank Straticomfstratico@hotmail.com

ADE not authorizing E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEYWasn't reading my KOBO books I downloaded.  I have reauthorized it,Had to delete the auth manually.reloaded ADE 4.5.7I can log in fine to the Adobe website.but when i try to Authorize, to read and download my KOBO books, I get the message E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY

Hi,I just imported my ADE books in ADE on my new pc and get an error message during the autentification that says that the ID I used is not connected to the element I select (this happens for all the books). I think the problem is, that at the beginning I used another email as ID which now does not exist anymore [Personal information removed by moderator.]. I thought I changed the email with the new one [Personal information removed by moderator.] but this email with the password doesn't work for the autentification. Could you help me? Thank you a lot! Je l'ai ensuite fait glisser vers le logiciel Adobe Digital Edition pour pouvoir le lire et une autorisation pour l'ordinateur m'a été demandée. J'ai obtenu l'autorisation mais le message d'erreur E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR s'est affiché.J'ai donc installer la version plus récente du logiciel puis les plus vielles mais rien n'y fait, le livre ne peut pas être lu.J'ai vu cherché une solution sur internet mais je n'ai rien trouvé.Que puis-je faire ?

Hi there, I also have an PRS-T1 Sony reader which I recently factory reset due to I was trying to sync using the Reader App. I want to re start using it to read library ebooks, however it needs to be re authorized for Adobe Digital Editions and the only way to authorize it according to the manual is by signing into the Sony Readers store which is no longer in existence. The first time I authorize it was in 2011 when the store was still open and Sony did the authorization for the ADE for my eReader. Now I’m stranded without being able to read ADE format library ePub books. Do you have any ideas on what can I do to solve this issue? Hello,I am currently trying to access an eBook on two devices. However, on the other device, I cannot access the eBook despite using the device being authorised with same Adobe ID. I see the eBook but it says 'author unknown' and I receive a pop-up clicking on it saying that I cannot access it. I have tried redownloading the eBook but it doesn't work - it says 'Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: W_ADEPT_CORE_WRONG_DEVICE'.Would appreciate any help!

I have been unable to update my desktop Adobe Digital Editions authorization information to match my online information.  I have tried uninstalling ADE and re downloading but the old info always remains and it will not let me change anything.  Always tells me I have the wrong password, etc. 

I authorized my computer, downloaded the book and everything worked fine. When I authorized my ipad with the same account it isn't there. Help

HiI have read and made some highlights on an epub format book. I used an Android device and the official ADE app. So, I want to transfer these highlights to my laptop (which I use mainly when I am at home), which has Win7 OS. I tried to copy to my laptop the annotation file and the mannifest file, but no success.I searched a lot on the internet, but found no answer on this topic.Please help me. thxTivadar

I see this is not a new issue but it's not happened to me before.I have bought a number of books on the Kobo store but on this occasion I cannot open the .acsm file and get the Digital Editions error"Unable to downloadError getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR"I've recently bought a new laptop (Mac) and so I tried it on the old with no success.I've deactivated, deleted activation.dat and re-activated as well as un-installing DE and upgrading to 4.5.8.182914I'd welcome any thoughts on where to now......

I download an eBook from Google play as an ACSM file. I did choose to authorize it without an adove account. Can I Deauthorize it and add an account that link to it? Because I want to use the book in my tablet. Thank you for your answering!

I received the message there is some error getting license E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANTHER_USERWhat does it mean and how can it be fixed?Thanks in advance

Having the same problem on both ADE 3.0 and 2.0. Able to open the downloaded library book into ADE and copy the book to the nook. However when I eject the nook the books do not show on the nook screen. I can reconnect the nook to the computer and ADE shows that they are there. Any ideas?I have deauthorized the computer, reinstalled ADE, deleted the "digital editions" folder from the nook, reauthorized the computer,  copied the books back to the nook. They show in ADE. But when I try to find them on the nook, they are not there.

Hi,I am trying to download an epub I bought today with Adobe Digital Editions. When I open the ascm file, I receive an E_LIC_LICENCE_SIGN_ERROR response from the server when the application tries to initiate the fullfill. Here is the error message I receive when the Fullfill is initiated :This happens only with this specific acsm file, on different computers. I tried on different computer, deauthorizing and authorizing my account on them, same result. I also tried to force remove the registry keys, following this post (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2180838) in order to deauthorize my account, didn't change anything.Does anyone have an idea how I can manage to download this epub ?Thanks!

I have a new computer with Windows 10 and my ebooks will no longer download onto my Kobo.  I get this message: CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED. 

How can I authorize my Digital Editons for Barnes and Noble eBooks when there is no such ebook vendor in the authorization applet?Adobe brags about supporting Barnes and Noble ebooks, but then they leave them out as a vendor. That really makes alot of sense!I'm trying to use Adobe Digital Editons on my Macbook to read ePubs, since Barnes is not updating their NOOK app to support Mountain Lion.

I download Digital Editions and during the install I get the message "Adobe Digital Editions has stopped working".I'm running the latest version of WIndows 10 (just bought new laptop today).I've tried downloading the file on both MS Edge and Chrome but no luck. I just can't get any further than the error message.Can anyone help?

Hi,So i downloaded adobe digital editions on my old laptop and ipad, butmy old laptop died so icant access it anymore. I just bought a new laptop and i cant access my e-books because it says i've reached the max device limit. I read online and i cant find anything to fix it. All it says is to sign in an erase the authorization. So is there any way to properly erase my authorization from my old laptop online?@

I am unable to open downloaded library e-books - I get the same message E_ACT_NOT_READY. Adobe says deauthorize the computer and re-authorize. But it will not let me deauthorize. I am using the correct Adobe ID and password. There is another option for account that reflects my library card number (cloudlibrary) but that requires a vendor ID that I don't have. Thoughts?
