Digital Editions

I've paid for a book and can see it in the ADE (v 4.5.5) library but every time I go to copy it onto my Kobo the system seems to crash or at least not respond. Then I see that the authorisation for the kobo is no longer there. I'm new to KOBO and ADE. I have managed to copy over books that were free with no problem. I have windows 10.  All help welcome, thank you

I am trying to open an ACS DRM protected file on my iPad using ADE. it gives me an error saying "Connection Error Detected". I have attached the image. The internet connection is in place. ADE is authorised with Adobe ID. I can use the same file in "Bluefire" and "Aldiko" without any issue. Please help

I have been having problems with adobe digital editions. When I download a library book using overdrive to laptop I get prompt to open or save. When select save digital editions does not open, instead a blank internet page opens. I have been having difficulty with my nook color giving error message that book had been returned and was not on file when I just downloaded the book . I have tried deleting and reinstalling ADE and removing and replacing authorization. If all fails I will replace with a kindle if they do not use ADE.

Suddenly my ADE stopped  working  – Windows 10 Tries to troubleshoot but message goes away almost immediatelyDownloaded the Windows version and reinstalled  – but you have the same problem.  ADEP worked earlier this afternoon.Desktop with Windows 10 version 1703.Try  downloading and reinstalling  again? Anything I should delete first?

Please help.  I have downloaded Adobe (as suggested) and a library book, but I keep being told "Adobe Reader could not open 'URLLink (9).acsm' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)".  So I can not access the book I have borrowed to read.  WHY??

I bought an ebook from Google yesterday. I have downloaded it to my laptop and tried to transfer it to the ADE Library and I am getting the following error:E_adept_document_type_unknownI contacted Google and they have stated that there is no problem with the ebook and that the issue is with ADE.Can anyone help me?

Has anyone tried writing on an eBook with a stylus or electronic pen/pencil?

On my mac, running current OS X, i cannot download epubs to my ADE, but I CAN open them directly frommy hard drive and read them. Why can I not download them to the ADE. I download them, go to my downloadsand double click the downloaded version. They do not go into the ADE. Why?

I want to get a kobo reader or whatever, really. Is there a list of supported devices or can i authorize just any e-reader?

Every time I try to download a book as an EPUB from my library’s overdrive website the program Adobe Digital Editions pops up on my computer, just like it should, but instead of loading the book a small window with the words Error! Check Activation. appears instead. It never used to do that and when it started eventually I just uninstalled the version of ADE 2.0 that I was using and reinstalled a more recent version ADE 4.5. The recent version is nice but I’m still having the same issue so I can still not download e-books to my nook like I used to before. Please help me fix it or at least give me some guidance!

Hey, guys...  I purchased from Kobo a book that is Epub3 (DRM-free) and it will not download to my ADE library.  I have worked with Kobo's customer service for several days and it just won't download.  What to do ?  Thanks !!

I recently bougt a Kobo Aura ed.2 and still haven´t got it to work, I am now starting to give up after two days of troubleshooting, downloading older versions of ADE and more...Both my computer and Kobo are authorized with my Adobe account and everything seems to be in order.BUT, when transfering ebook from library or anyother place I get this message:"Connection Error DetectedDigital editions could not connect to the fulfillment server.Please make sure you are connected to the internet."What to do, can anyone please help me?//Joakim

I just bought two books on my Macbook and i'd like to read them on my iPhone. After i authorised and synchronized my iPhone, the two books appeared on it but couldn't be read because of the following error : "This book isn't available in the device anymore."What could i do to fix this ?

Como resolver o problema descrito no título?   O problema aparece numa compra que fiz (livraria da Folha) em que era necessário ter baixado o DIGITAL EDITIONS para ler.Já reinstalei várias vezes e nada, aliás, só piorou, pois eu tinha ebook (da editora ciencia moderna) na minha biblioteca que abria sem problemas (neste nem lembro se precisou ou não fazer login, apenas abria em meu pc) agora ele não abre mais, a resposta do programa é que o ID não está associada ao produto. Não tive tantos problemas na minha vida a partir de um programa que simplesmente deveria fazer a leitura de um ebook. Fiz o teste com o Kindle e foi totalmente "fluido" o entendimento do programa, sincronização sem problemas, totalmente o oposto ao da adobe.Desde já, obrigado.

Using Digital Editions I've transferred library books to my kobo e-reader.  They show on my home page but are missing in my books.I have checked  all authorization and everything checks out.  What do I need to do ?

This error message appeared in Adobe Digital Editions.  I have discovered that I need Adobe to do a reset of my ID.  Can you please do that and let me know when it's completed?  Thank you.

I purchased an e-book yesterday. It works almost perfectly on my Sony Vaio in 1920 x 1080 EXCEPT that I cannot view the entire image on a page. The ONLY way is to reduce my screen resolution to the "old fashioned" 1024 x 768 setting. Any ideas ?? Thank You.

This has happened multiple times.  I have checked out ebooks from my library, opened them in Digital Editions, drug them to my Kobo reader.  When I try to open the book in my reader, it says device is not authorized.  I have deauthorized and re-authorized both my computer and the device.  Each time it says it is successful but still book says Kobo is not authorized.

Digital Editions just stops working - it opens but won't open any books.  Found on a forum that you could reinstall to a new directory and that force it to work but only for a little while.  It is on multiple computers all running Windows 10.  Any suggestions for a permanent fix?Thanks!!
