I keep getting an authorization error when I download a book - the seller/publisher has reset everything and says I should be fine.  I've uninstalled and re-downloaded/installed Adobe Digital Editions, reset my password, etc. and still getting same error.  I decided to try to deauthorize the computer, and it gives me the common error of wait some time and try again.  None of it is working.I did a chat discussion with support and did not receive ANY help and was told to post here and support would reply via email to me.  There is no case number I can find in the transcript.

Hello,I am trying to authorize my MacBook to gain access to a textbook for university. I have been following a video tutorial provided by the university, and all was going well until I reached this error. Please help! As this is time sensitive and I will fall behind in the course if I can't make this work somehow. I no longer have an Hotmail email and my digital editions is tied to this email.  I want to add my current email address but I can't until I de-authorize the old one.  I no longer know the password therefore I can't reset the password.  Can anyone help me?  I've made several attempts with the chat room and they are of no help.

Hi I am having a problem with the Adobe Export PDF product - when I try toexport multi page PDF documents like bank statements (8 pages long) to Excelthe document appears as 40 pages of gibberish. I downloaded and authorized my computer and device with Adobe Digital Editions.  I borrowed a book from my local library.  I am unable to read my ebook on my computer, nor am I able to transfer the book to my device.  I'm getting a message stating that this computer is unable to open my book because of a vendor ID.  I can't even return the book.  Help please.

Have registered Adobe Digital Edition as a user and email address of user is current. In my new Kobo reader with same email address it states in settings "not authorized with ADE." Have re-set the Kobo - still no change. Have tried to go into ADE to erase current email authorized address. Can't do the function to erase. Use ADE to access my library. Have checked my overdrive account as well. Called Kobo and got me to de-install Adobe 4.5 and go back to 3.0. Still - no sucess. How do I start all over and access my library using my adobe account?

I'm not too sure if this problem has been posted and resolved previously. I'm on MacOS El Capitan (v10.11.6) on MacBookPro (Late 2008) if it helps.I installed the latest (4.5.4) version of Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) and something went wrong with what I did (I seriously don't remember it now) and it crashed on subsequent launch. I later uninstalled that version, emptied the trash, and downloaded/installed a fresh copy, which again crashed on launch. This time though I repeated the cycle and followed the instructions from this URL: Installation issues for Adobe Digital Editions 4.0 but it hasn't resolved the issue.I'd definitely appreciate if someone could guide me to a clean(er) uninstall and a successful reinstall of ADE. I'm getting anxious for not finding the root cause.Bhooshan

I cannot download any books to Adobe Digital Editions because I keep getting the above error message. I think it is because the e-mail address associated with Adobe is an old e-mail address. But I cannot change to my new address because I do not know the Adobe ID number associated with that old e-mail address. Also, I cannot use the "forgot password" because the e-mail from Adobe with my old password will be sent to the old e-mail address that is defunct. Does anyone know how I can get around this issue?

After downloading from Ontario Library downloads, when I go to my Adobe Digital Editions page, I receive the message "check activation", and then you must click OK.  My computer is authorized as is my KOBO Aura eReader.I do not understand what the "check activation" is referring to?  how do I fix this?

I recently bought a new e-book reader (Tolino Vision 4 HD) and after a couple of days I could no longer download e-books from a public library. I suspect this is due to me having too many devices attached to my Adobe Digital Editions (DRM) account. I did send a request to reset my account through the Adobe chat (tried twice) but the second time they reffered me to the forum. Could you guys at Adbobe help me with a reset as a first step in my troubleshooting?

Hi, I keep on getting this whenever I try to open a .acsm file in my Digital Editions:Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHEDThe .acsm file  was previously opened in another Mac with its own Digital Editions, authorized under a User ID. But I have already deauthorized that Mac and I have even deleted the Digital Editions program in there. Still won't open in this other Mac with a different Digital Editions. I purchased a workbook in pdf. Turned out I needed to download Adobe Digital Editions to read this book. Now I cannot print pages as the print button is greyed out. Seriously!!! It's a "WORKBOOK"!!! I tried looking for help on the ADE's website & found nothing unless it was for a product that was purchased from them.

hi, I need some help, tried to authorize a new app on my phone and got the too many devices error. the account im using is linked to my aldiko-feedbooks account (it has the same email as my regular adobe account but a different password so i cant log in thru the regular account). i have no idea what devices it thinks if have or any access to those devices to deauthorize thru the device. can anyone help me with deauthorizing? i tried the chat and all i was told was to post to the forum for help... i tried one of the links in another thread (that the chat gave me) and got an error about a token so the chat was no help at all and i'm at a loss. i have to use the aldiko-feedbooks account as it's what the book i was reading was authorized inthanks

Is there any way to stop ADE from removing math symbols? 

I'm trying to put ebooks on my koboglo and am having issues.  When I try to authorize my computer, my kobo isn't listed under the e vendor list.  Does anyone know what I should be using on that list that is the same as the koboglo?

I get this error message every time I try to open an ebook  [from my Public Library's ebook program] in Adobe Acrobat DC. Do I have to register in a Cloud account to make this work? I've de-and re-authorized, checked default programs, and done everything else I can find to tell me how to fix this.  NOTHING works!  HELP, I want to read! Hi everyone. Many users are having problems with ebooks with Adobe DRM on their 10.3.1 devices: after the iOS update, protected ebooks can't be opened properly with Bluefire and other reading apps. Any suggestion? Thank you

I get the error message "The account has been activated to many times" when I try to open drm content with my adobe id on my smartphone, on the app UB Reader, where I have been able to show drm content before, on previous installations of the app. What can I do no, when appearently having reached the limit of activations...?!

I have a Kobo e-reader which was working on this lap top on Windows 8. it then went to Windows 10, it continued to download books from the library through overdrive for a while then gave up.  I have tried uninstalling and re-installing both latest and older versions and it just freezes up on me and I have to force closure. I have tried on-line chat but this was a waste of time. I was able to download onto my kobo via a friends lap top so it is not the e-reader at fault.  An suggestions?Robin

I opened ADE today only to find that the shelves I made are suddenly missing ---- my whole library is empty. Everything that I had in ADE is gone. The Digital Editions folder still exists in My Documents, but nothing is on ADE.Why did this happen and how can I get my library and shelves back?Thanks for your help.Darlene
