When I try to download and save my EBook it doesn't not allow me to because it says its already used by another user. Please fix this

Is that possible to sync all your ebook across all platform including iOS,Android,Windows and Mac OS?

I purchased a new computer, and downloaded ADE,   when I go to authorize ADE with my Adobe ID, so I can download books from my  local library, I get the message./. you can only authorize this computer with and Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or device /.....I deactivated the old computer, but still get the above message.thanks

I recently updated a file which had previously been approved for the Premier Catalog at Smashwords, and they said that some characters in the replacement file came out as question marks. I downloaded the E-Pub file, opened it on three or four programs on at least three devices, and could not duplicate the problem. i called Smashwords, and the guy I spoke with could not duplicate it either! Two days ago I opened the .pdf version in WORD 2016, and let it convert the file to docx format, and tried again. It was badly formatted. So I saved the file as Plain Text, and opened it in WORD 2016, on my Asus Netbook computer, with a quad core 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor, 2 gigs of RAM, and a 500 GB hard drive. That should be able to handle a simple word processor document.... I formatted it using text styles in WORD, not just formatting line by line as I went along. I am having a couple of issues when trying to download books from the local library and getting them onto my Kobo touch.  Things were working fine until a couple of weeks ago when I started to have these issues.  When trying to borrow a book from the library and putting it into Adobe Digital Editions 3 (I have tried all the other versions of Adobe Digital Editions too and they are all coming up with the same error message) it tells me that my network is on the wrong path. (See image attached)I can't understand this because I have changed nothing on my computer.  I have some library books that were previously in ADE before this happened. when I try to bring them into Kobo I get an error message that I do not have the rights to copy.  I have activated my Adobe ID both on ADE and the Kobo.  They appear to be using the same ID. I have tried deactivating and reactivating on both as well. I have even tried creating a new adobe id account. Nothing is solving this. I h

Firstly, that I have to hunt down some method of inquiry regarding a pretty major issue with this product has greatly diminished my opinion of this company since tech support appears to be nil. That said, I opened my ADE today after not using it for a few months and my entire library has disappeared. I went to the ADE file in 'This PC' (aka 'My Computer' on older systems) to check the ADE folder and nothing is there either. I naturally then sought to find ADE tech support to solve this problem and was referred to this forum. My library included dozens and dozens of books, legally purchased and downloaded, that have now vanished without any explanation as to why. Being referred to a forum and crossing my fingers that some other ADE customer has the same problem and/or has figured out a solution to it is just bad business on Adobe's part imo. Recovering my merchandise is costly and time consuming if this issue cannot be solved and would likely not reassemble my library perfectly since I

I downloaded both my ebook and the digital editions and i cannot open my ebook in adobe. It doesnt even show up in adobe but its downloaded into my computer as a pdf.. HELP

Hey @ all, Since the last DMR update I cannot download e-books from my reseller (ebook.de) anymore.I contacted them and they told me the problem is a with Adobe not them (as both sides always do ).the error I'm getting from windows and android app is always "no Internet connection" any other e-book from the cloud of my reseller without DMR works fine.any suggestions ? thanks for your time Steven

Why doesn't ADE recognize my ereader (Sony PRS-T2) or show downloaded books in library. Also wont open ebooks.

I am unable to open a ebook I just downloaded from the Library.  It says, This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) and is not currently authorize for use with your Adobe ID. Please sign-in with the authorize Adobe ID and try again. www. kobo.com/help.    I checked my PC and I am still authorized.   Where do I go from here?  I have unauthorized and reauthorize and it still did not open.  

I have downloaded ADE 4.5 to use with obtaining books from my library. I have downloaded and returned to library the books. The problem is that my ADE shows that I have 35 books in my system. I have highlighted them and have deleted them many times but to no avail. To check I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE. I have also disconnected the www and still the books keep on showing up on the ADE. Each day that I try to correct the ADE it states that these book are all new.  I have discussed with others and they do not have the answers. It appears that it is somewhere in the ADE software.?Please advise how to correct this system/problem and due to minimal computer knowledge please provide instruction in detailed simple language..

Hi thereI've been constantly having issues of late once I transfer from Adobe Digital to my Kobo. The document seems to transfer to the Kobo but when I try to open it from the Kobo, I get the below message:Oops!  This document couldn't be open...This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Mangement (DRM) and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID... Please sign in with the authorised A. ID and try again.BUT, there is nothing wrong with my ID and my computer is authorised.  I tried to download another book and it worked.The books that I am download are from our local library and are EPUB books directly accessed from the Overdrive section of our library.I am using a PC Windows 7.Please assist with this issue.Thank youFelicia

Bough ebooks from takealot and downloaded takealot ereader app.  Takealot tech says the ebooks were downloaded and opened without Adobe Digital Editions being authorised, if this is the case, then Adobe would create a ghost ID to open the eBook and now there is nothing that can be done.

I recently downloaded ADE version 4.5.4. Before the installation completed, a pop-up window to install Norton Security Scan popped up. I don't need it as I have  antivirus software. However, there was no way to shut it down, so I allowed it to download in the hope I could uninstall it subsequently. I then found I could not uninstall it. Please advise how I could uninstall Norton Security scan. And please would Adobe take action to stop such pop-ups which cannot be removed.

After a fatal HDD crash and rebuild, my ADE was working fine but now it's not. I purchased a book from Google, it starts to download to ADE then I get the ADE message "Error Getting License. License Server Communication Problem. E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN_ERROR. Can anyone help? I've re-booted and re-authorized with no success. I am experiencing extreme difficulty in an attempt to use Adobe Digital Editions.What do I wish to achieve?I subscribe to a library that uses Overdrive to lend eBooks.Because the Overdrive reader does transfer to other eBook or e Reader devices I was advised to install and use Adobe Digital Editions.I have installed Adobe Digital Editions v4.5 on my computer.I have downloaded and saved a book from Overdrive in .acsm format, on attempting to open the file in Adobe Digital Editions I got an Unable to download error message.I then had problems accessing my Adobe ID account, this solved I again attempted to download a book only to obtain the same Unable to download error message.Thinking this was related to computer authorization I checked and found that the computer was authorized without an ID.Following instructions I attempted to change the computer's authorization, I entered my Adobe ID details only to receive the following message:You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID

I've been trying to download an eBook from my local library, as I have plenty of times before.  However, this time, every time I try downloading it, Adobe Digital Editions hangs and becomes non-responsive.I've used Task Manager to force quit the application a few times, only to find multiple copies of the problematic book available in my Bookshelves.  However, these copies are just as problematic.  Trying to copy them to a device (my Nook) or reading them on Adobe Digital Editions itself also causes ADE to become non-responsive.  Looking on my Nook itself, there are no copies there.  Any ideas?

On windows 10, and ADE new version 4.5.4, it will not download a DRM book from the Ontario Library Download Center as done previously many times before; have performed the deauthorization/'removal/ resinstall/ redownload/ reauthorize process without impact. the book file is in the appropriate folder when we search for it using Windows Explorer.Has anyone had any success with Registry corrections?:thanks.

I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions from the website so that I can borrow ebooks via the public library system.  I was able to authorize my computer, but can't figure out how to authorize by ebook reader (Kobo Touch) - without authorizing the device, I can't transfer the ebooks from my Mac to the Kobo Touch.  Any information on how to authorize the ebook reader would be appreciated!

Good day how can I connect my 2  devices because I try to download a book on the takealot app but every time I try to download it it say "Your adobe account authorized on this device Please check your user name and password and try again" but everything I have done is good don t know what is the problem
