Goodmorning, When I try to download e books to my kobo e-reader I get the error foult on activating server.I tried to remove all autharisation by using ctr/shitft/D but receive a error cannot remove authorisation, try again later, already tried several times during the last week but keep getting the same error, anyone any idea how to proceed further?

Hallo liebe Adobe-Community, ich habe in meinem PC Hardware getauscht und die Festplatte formatiert. Daher musste ich CS6 neu installieren. Nun sagt CS6 (bspw. Indesign), dass die maximal Anzahl an Geräten erreicht ist. In meinem Konto sind aber keine Geräte aktiviert, die ich abmelden könnte... Wie bekomme ich nun meine Lizenz aktiviert?

Hi, I've been using ADE for many years to get library books onto my Kobo. Recently installed Win 11 and re-downloaded ADE (latest version). When I try to "Authorize Computer" with my Adobe ID it fails with the message "Incorrect login ID or password for the selected ebook vendor". I've selected "Adobe ID" as the ebook vendor as my library provider is not listed in the drop-down. I'm 100% certain that my Adobe ID and password are correct as I use Adobe photography software so I use my Adobe ID all the time.

Hola, Recibo el error E_ADEPT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS al intentar autorizar Adobe Digital Editions en mi ordenador / e‑reader.Solo he usado un ordenador y un lector electrónico. Aun así, el sistema interpreta que he superado el límite de activaciones.¿Me podría decir alguien cómo restablecer el contador de activaciones de mi Adobe ID? He intentado ponerme en contacto con el soporte técnico y me ha sido imposible y el asistente virtual no me da ninguna solución. Muchas gracias por su ayuda. Un saludo.

Hello, hope yall doing well. I have this issue where it doesnt let me redeem my book license bc "somebody" else redeemed it. Thing is that it worked fine at first but after needing a complete new windows 11 install and after doing that it started giving me that issue. I have the same exact ID and password so it should not give me this prompt , bc its the same exact account. Pls fix it i need this book for school

I tried putting a Icpl file from mlol (digital library) into Digital edition to put it into my ereader.Last month it was working just fine. Now it says: "impossible to add the document " and "this file format is not supported".What should I do?

When downloading book from Kobo ADE does not automatically open. I have to go to download folder and move ACSMFile manually into ADE. Any reason this is happening. I previously used an old laptop but have de-authorised and re-authorised old and new laptops. Both laptops are now authorised. Is this the issue.

je voudrais transférer des ebooks depuis ma liseuse (où j'ai enregistré mon compte ADOBE) dans ma bibliothèque ADOBE sur mon ordinateur.Certains e.books sont transférables et lisibles sans problèmes, d'autres (format e.pub pourtant mais plus lourds) ne peuvent pas être ouverts ni lus (page de jaquette blanche). Un message d'erreur  (absence de droits) bloque le contenu du livre, alors que je le lis sans problème sur ma liseuse et que j'ai l'autorisation  d'ADOBE aussi dans mon ordi.Sylvie

I receive this error when trying to open an .acsm file on my Mac:  "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKNOWN:"  I am running Mac OS X 10.8.2.  When I open the ACSM file it is in XML format and is looking for a PDF document.What do I need to do to actually download the file?  Everything else seems to be configured properly in terms of authorization.Message was edited by: JFS-NJ

I'm not tech savvy, just the basics.I have ADE on my apple tablet with all my ebooks.I want to get ADE on my windows desktop.I have downloaded ADE windows on my desktop and logged in to my ADE account.I can't see my ebooks on my desktop?Can you assist me please?How do I see my ADE ebooks on my ADE windows desktop?

When I have more than about 30 markups or notes in a book, Digital Editions reacts more and more slowly and becomes virtually unusable

I recently brought a few new manga ebooks from the Google Play store.When viewing the epub file in Adobe Digitial Editions 3.0.1.91394, all pages seem to be cut off to the size of your screen.There seems to be no scroll bar or zoom option. (There seems to be a zoom option for PDFs, however the feature is not available on epub files.)Due to this issue, most of the manga is cut off and unreadable.  When using the mouse scroll wheel, the program will just proceed to the next page, rather than scroll down the page.  Resizing the window does not resize the content. Changing some monitor setting on Windows, I rotated the screen 90 degrees.  After that, I was able to view more of the page, however the bottom&right side is still cut off.  Messing around with the text sizes does not seem to change anything.Below is a screenshot of what the issue is. Bonjour,J'ai emprunté un livre à ma bibliothèque municipale. J'ai réussi à le télécharger et à l'ouvrir sur ADE sur mon ordinateur (mac). Par contre, lorsque vient le temps de connecter ma liseuse Kobo, elle n'est pas détectée par mon ordinateur ni par le logiciel ADE. J'ai autorisé mon compte sur ADE, je me suis connectée à mon compte sur ma liseuse. Par contre, dans les paramètres de ma liseuse, il est indiqué qu'elle n'est "pas autorisée avec Adobe Digital Editions". Comment faire pour autoriser le programme avec ma liseuse? Lorsque je connecte ma liseuse à mon ordinateur, elle me demande si je veux connecter et la synchronisation devrait se faire...Merci! 

Hola, tengo este Acrobat ppues compré un libro en eso pero nopuedo abrirlo pues me pide un ID de Adobe y no he podido crearlo. Alguien me puede ayudar con esto? Gracias

My Adobe Digital Editions installation (4.5) is not opening .acsm files. This issue occurs with files from any source, including free Adobe ebooks. I get the following error message: "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY" I have been seeing this error for almost a month, and nothing I do resolves it. I have uninstalled ADE and reinstalled it. I tried deauthorizing my computer, but every time I try to deauthorize I get another error: "Unable To Erase Authorization. Please try again after some time." I have been getting this error for about 5 days.Attempts to contact tech support resulted in a 20-minute chat where I was transferred to multiple departments, was greeted with the phrase "I can help you," and then told to go to the forums. As you might imagine, this is extremely frustrating. I am running Mojave on a MacBook air.

License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERRORI have now followed the instructions from a few articles.  uninstall , reauthorise etc.i do the install on Apple Macbook Tahoe 26.1Authorise the application with my adobe idlogin to adobe and download the sample ebook .   but it always gives this message.i dont run a firewall and have tried with bitdefender disabled.   Any ideas what i can check ?

Compro un libro electrónico en una librería asociada con KOBO, y al intentar convertir la licencia electrónica, (el archivo *.acsm) en un libro electrónico, me aparece el mencionado error.Aclaro:  1) Mi versión de ADE (Adobe Digital Editions está autorizada).              2) Este procedimiento (convertir la licencia acsm en un libro electrónico) no había sido problema nuinca.               3) Con KOBO es con el único proveedor que actualmente (y desde hace un año) tengo ese problema. ¿Alguien que POR FAVOR pueda orientarme para solucionarlo?De antemano, Gracias.

Hello Community,I am having trouble authorizing my new computer/e-reader using my Adobe ID in Adobe Digital Editions (ADE).I suspect I may have reached the maximum number of authorized devices, as I get a generic "Activation Failed" message (or "E_ACT_NOT_FULFILLED").I need to deauthorize an old computer that I no longer use, but I cannot access it.Could someone please provide guidance or steps on:How to remotely deauthorize old devices connected to my Adobe ID?What is the best way to contact Adobe support if remote deauthorization is not possible?Any advice on clearing an activation slot would be highly appreciated! I have tried, many times to "Authorise" my computer, & get an error message: E_AUTH_FAILEDI cannot transfer my e-Books to my e-Reader, nor download them to my MacCan anyone help me please? !

Ich nutze digital Editions jetzt schon sehr lange. Jetzt habe ich mir einen Laptop zugelegt und möchte auch dort meine Bücher aus der Bücherei verwalten. Laut ADE müsste das an bis zu 6 PCs möglich sein. Inzwischen habe ich es erreicht, dass ich meinen PC authorisieren kann. Nur, wenn ich ein Buch auf den Reader (Tolino shine) kopieren möchte kommt o.g. Meldung mit dem Zusatz: keine Berechtigung zum kopieren des Buchs.

Ciao,il mio kobo Clara continua a non risultare  autorizzato da adobe Adobe Digital Edition, nonostante che in Adobe Digital Edition invece risulta esserlo (sia computer che kobo). Nel kobo tutti i file continuano ad essere lockati e non visibili (i file hanno il lucchetto cosi come il file di autorizzazione) . Ho provato di tutto ad installare versione 3.0, deautorizzare kobo e ADE, nulla, stesso problema, poi ho installato la versione 4.5, stesso problema. Non ricevo nessuno errore, e come se il kobo non recepisse l'autorizzazione. Ho appena ricomprato il kobo clara quindi era la prima volta che inserivo l'autorizzazione. 

Ik kan mijn autorisaties niet verwijderen van de computer; computer zegt steeds probeer het later opnieuw, maar ik probeer het al dagen; ik kan ADE ook niet koppelen aan mijn e-reader op deze manier, het lijkt of de autorisaties niet goed zijn, heb al nieuw password, maar krijg de autorisatie er niet af
