Digital Editions

I purchased 1 (one) ebook form ebooks.com, but 5 copies of the same ebook got installed in Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.I cannot delete the 4 supplementary ebooks - they all come back even after removing all 5 copies.I uninstalled Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, removed everything "Adobe" from my PC, removed all references to the book title from my PC, even removed adobe digital editions from the registry - but when I reinstall Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, all 5 copies of the same ebook come back!I see many previous threads regarding this problem, but NO SOLUTION! I tried version 3.0 instead - but version 3.0 can't open the ebook (I get an error message).I can't live with the 5 copies of the same ebook, because my annotations would then be spread across the 5 copies of the ebook.IS THERE A SOLUTION FOR THIS PLEASE?Thanks!

Habe inzwischen ADE mehrmals gelöscht und neu installiert.Habe bei Adobe die ID geändert.Alte ID ist nicht zu löschen, nimmt Passwort nicht an.Habe viel versucht, bin inzwischen verzweifelt.Adobe bietet keinen Support, da das Programm kostenlos ist.Wäre sehr dankbar für Hilfe.Habe probehalber ADE auf meinem Handy installiert, da funktioniert alles einwandfrei.Habe Windows 10 auf dem PC. 

En Adobe Digital Edition, el texto del Ebook aparece manchado, en cursiva y con la tipografía cambiada. Ello ocurre después de la conversión de pdf a acsm. ¿Alguna solución?La empresa que antes nos convertía el archivo pdf a acsm (que ya no existe) me decía había que 'empaquetar' el archivo pdf primero para corregir este error, pero no sé qué quiere decir eso de 'empaquetar'.¿Alguien sabe que quiere decir lo de empaquetado?Gracias de antemano,

I recently switched to Two Factor Authentication for my Adobe ID for security reasons. Adobe Digital Edition is not working any more after the switch. I cannot import new DRM books as I always get "Error. Check Activation!". Trying to solve the error is not possible as I cannot deauthorize nor reauthorize (after deleting the regedit key manually). It will always result in an error when typing in my Adobe ID password.System: Windows 10ADE Version: 4.5.10This is a major issue for anyone who is concerned about password and account security.

Ich versuche meine Adobe-ID mit meinem Pocketbookaccount zu verbinden. Wenn ich mich auf dieser Webseite http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/de/JoinAccountLoginForm.jsp mit meinem Pocketbookaccount einlogge, erhalte ich trotz mehrerer Versuche "Falscher Benutzername, falsches Kennwort oder anderes Konto als angefordert". Benutzername und Passwort funktionieren bei Pocketbook problemlos. Was mache ich falsch?  

I had problems opening my Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 and read books on the last 3 days, so I read that I have to desinstall and reinstall Adobe Digital Edition on my PC, wich I did, but it doesn't work, the programm now just dont open anymore.  Could you please help me??  I am in the middle of my master degree and need to be able to have acces to the book I had bought. Thank you.   

Hi All, I have received feedback from reader saying that there are alignment issues for images present in ePub. This issues when checked on ADE 4.5 on MacOS, it is absent and aligned correctly. But when the same title is checked on ADE on Windows 10, the issues are observed. Version of ADE is 4.5 on both OS. I have also checked on other readers for image alignment issue, but it is not found. So I am sure ePub package coding is not an issue. I have attached images for your kind reference. Kindly let me know how shall I resolve it. Thank you for your efforts,Ganesh Satav

Hello, I'm starting with Adobe Digital Editions. I authorized computer without ID, and i add to library Adobe DRM file and it won't works. As a red after, it needs authorization with ID, so I made it by google account. But now Adobe DRM file didn't work due to "error getting license". What can I do to be able use it?

I can no longer download books on my Kobo. I use Adobe digital editions 3.0 as required by my library.  This is the message I get CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED.  the book is available, gets to my Kobo but I can not transfer it. I did try to uninstal and reinstal Adobe.  Same problem. HELP ANYONE.

I bought a new PC because my old one crashed. On the new PC I can't use my Adobe ID because Adobe says that the ID is already registered on a PC. I tried to deactivate my ID on the new PC and then Activate it, but now I have the error message E_LIC_ALREADY_FULLFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER. How can I solve the problem ? It seems that Nook are closing their UK operations and we're being moved over to Sainsburys Entertainment instead. One of the requirements of the transfer is that we have to download and install Adobe Digital Editions on the computer (Windows 7 Pro) then use it to 'Authorise' both the computer and the Nook, in order to download books first to the computer and then transfer to the Nook.I did all this and it worked perfectly well. I got an Adobe ID, ran and installed ADE, authorised the computer and then authorised my Nook. I bought a book, downloaded and transferred it to my Nook. All good - everything worked as it should.Next, I got an Adobe ID for my wife because she has a Nook as well. Remember that ADE is already on the computer and the computer is already authorised, so now I connect her Nook to authorise it with her Adobe ID. ADE sees that there's an unauthorised Nook attached but the only ID it has to authorise it with is mine, not hers, and it won't allow me to input her ID anyw

HalloIch habe einen neuen eReader von PocketBook (Era 64 GB) und wollte meine PocketBook Cloud auf dem eReader anmelden. dabei taucht aber folgender Fehler auf:Aktivierung fehlgeschlagen (E_ADEPT_ ACCOUNTINFO_ERROR http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/SigninDirect E_pocketbook_ACCOUNT_INFO Incorrect user uuid).Mit dem Support von PocketBook hatte ich bereits Kontakt, diese haben mich informiert, dass sie mir bei diesem Problem auch nicht mehr weiterhelfen können, da dies ein Problem bei Adobe zu sein scheint.Habt ihr noch eine Idee wie ich mein Problem lösen kann?

Hello, I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and I created a document from a web page.  I want to remove one of the hyperlinks from the front page.  I looked at the online support (see link below) which told me to Delete a linkSelect the Link tool or the Select Object tool .Select the link rectangle you want to delete. Choose Edit > Delete, or press the Delete key.When I tried to do this, I could not find the Link tool, so I used the Select Object tool.  I selected the link to be deleted, but when I chose Edit > Delete, the Delete function was not available.  I then tried to press the Delete button on my computer but this did not work. Does anyone know how I can delete a hyperlink from a web created PDF document?  Thank you!

Depuis quelque temps, je n'arrive plus à tourner les pages des fichiers "acsm". Lorsque je clique sur "page suivante", la page ne change pas. Je dois quitter le livre, retourner à la bibliothèque et revenir au livre pour accéder à la page suivante. Effectuer cette procédure 300 fois pour un livre de 300 pages, c'est long et pénible!Merci de votre aide

Hi! So my issue is, that my adobe digital editions runs very very slow when scrolling through my books. My internet is fine and uninstalling and reinstalling makes no change. How do i solve this? The issue makes digital editions impossible to work with.

Has anybody been succesful in getting the XML from Default Apps in Windows 10 to get ADE as the default app for ACSM files? I've set and unset it as the default app in Settings, but it never appears in the list. We use a central apps list in Group Policy and, even though ADE is installed on our network PCs, the files are defaulting to Acrobat DC.  I've tried <Association Identifier=".acsm" ProgId="Applications\DigitalEditions.exe" ApplicationName="Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.10" /> but that doesn;t seem to work

Hi, used ADE for some time now. But suddenly, when I now start ADE it doesn't open, but tries to load the library files for hours. Even shutting it down with the task manager (operating system: Windows 10) doesn't change the situation. I already deinstalled and installed it again. But without success. Same issue again. Any ideas?THX!

I have downloaded some temporary epub from my public library.... But when my kobo synchronizes it don't charge new isues? Is it only possible by USB? Is it not possible by synchronization if both (computer and Kobo) are using the sme digital editions acount?Thanks to everyone!
