I received an email from mail@rt.adobesystems.com advertising a free preview of a new version of the Creative Cloud desktop app.  I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not this is a real domain Adobe uses and whether anyone knows if there really is a newer version of CC out there.  I'm suspicious that this may be a scam email 1) because of the domain and 2) because clicking on the link in the email immediately takes me to a page where I am asked to put in my Adobe username and password. 

Yes I agree. I used to always use "backup" versions of Adobe software until I started a business and went for legit copies of everything. And that's when it started to give me grief with updates breaking things and significantly more quirks than are reasonable to maintain productivity.Right now I'm trying to get sense out of online help people because I just need software that will work on an old iMac running OS 10.13 and it's been an exercise in frustration all the way. I've been advised by Apple to keep it on High Sierra for its own wellbeing, but I can't even install Bridge now. New versions aren't compatible, old download links to 2019 and 2020 versions of CC software are now dead. The online support person I have can't provide straight answers as to whether anything will run on the damn thing.   Their first suggestion was to come here to find links. Hi there,I searched for answers for hours before writing this.I tried all Adobe solutions, nothing worked.This all happened because I wanted to move Photoshop from C: to E: the other dayI basically had 2 Photoshops on my PC then, one on each Hard Disk. I wanted to uninstall the one on C: but little did I know, that that wouldn't work. So then I removed PS completely, when I wanted to uninstall, it told me it couldn't because there was no Photoshop on my PC, I removed all files with Avast. I installed Premiere Elements on a Windows 10 computer via CD and now need to install it on my new computer (Windows 10, soon to be Windows 11).  Whether I use the CD or attempt to download the app (which is registered with Adobe), I get a message that says my operating system or browser are no longer supported.  How can that be?  What to do about it?

Is Photoshop and Creative Cloud the same thing.  I just needed Photoshop, but i ended up with Creative Cloud and have no idea how to pull up photoshop. Help

Hey everybody, I have a surface pro 5 with 4GB RAM and only 14GB of free space. I have lightroom installed and just installed photoshop. My computer freezes up and slows down tremendously anytime I open either program. I tried deleting some files and programs from my computer but it's still sluggish.Is it possible to run these programs from an external drive? If so, what would be the best drive for this? Would I have to uninstall and reinstall onto the hard drive?

Elements 15 is only installed on one other device and I am not signed in on that device.  When I install it on my new computer, it says that the serial number is active on too many other devices and I need to deactivate some.  But when I go to my account on Adobe.com and find that product, it says that it is not activated on any devices.  Help?

So my Creative cloud just stopped connecting the the Adobe servers for no reason. Been working fine up until today. There is no number to call, just a chat box. Chatted for over an hour and they could not help. I was told I will get a call within 24-48 hours. Why can't they figure this out? When I search it on the internet there are hundreds of post relating to the same issue. I've tried eveything and nothing is working. I'm helpless with out the use of Photoshop and Illustrator. I was able to find an old CD of Illustrator but can't find one for an old Photoshop. Anyone else having the same issues and how did they fix it?

Hi I've had the Creative Cloud Membership Plan for a few years but when I opened a piece of work on it this morning an error message said that Adobe Creative Cloud is missing or damaged. It advised me to download and install a new copy of Creative Cloud. I downloaded the uninstaller package and also found the uninstaller file already included in my Creative Cloud apps. Whenever I launch ether of them I'm asked to fill in my password as shown on the screen below but when I hit OK nothing happens.  Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

Currently I have a computer that will be replaced in the next few months. I have the opportunity to purchase an older OEM version of Creative Suite Master CS6. What I would like to know if I can install this on the older computer for now and deactivate the license so I can install it on the new computer when the time comes without any activation or key problems because it is an OEM version. The older computer will be trashed. Generally I would like to know if an OEM version can be deactivated and reinstalled even if it is not on the same hardware.

Hello, I'm using a translator, so my words may be unnatural. I'm using Photoshop for the first time today. It's so hard because there's no Photoshop installed. If you delete it with the delete tool and reinstall it after reboot, it won't be solved. Why can't I install it? It's so hard. Even with the help of a counselor, it was not solved. Unfortuantely, I had to change the operating system of my old computer a few days ago. Sadly, that computer old computer was not wokring well at all. I bought a new one. Now I cannot install adobe cloud. It keeps on telling me that I am not signe in. And I keep on signing in and nothing happens. Could the software be confused since it was reinstalled on another computer a few days ago. I already sepnt hours trying to insgall Adobe Suite on this new computer. It is extremely frustrating. PLEASE HELP

I have an existing Lightroom 6 license for PC bought 2017. It ran on this PC (Win10/64 with all updates) until end of 2021.I have recently newly setup this PC (Win10/64 with all updates) and installed Lightroom 6 from the original CD. However, it does not run.When I open the program, a window pups up that prompts for a login to Adobe suggesting my correct Adobe ID, but if I click continue, then the windows informs me that the login is not allowed because it my operating system and browser are not supported anymore and I need to update. However, the OS and the browser (Chrome) are up to date. I am hung in this loop; the only way out is to cancel.A separate login to my Adobe account from my browser shows that the Lightroom 6 license is registered with the correct software key.  Please advice how to run my standalone Lightroom 6 on my PC?  FYI: I have also a licence for Lightroom Classic on my other PC but I also want to use the Lightroom 6 licence for m

Hello,I have the new macbook 14" and want to install the creative cloud app. however, during the installation, it kills my internet connection and I can't do anything. only after I quit the installation, the internet comes back.I did multiple tests. such as restarting the router, rebooting my macbook etc. The internet always breaks during the installation and comes back when I abort.Does anyone know how to resolve the issue?

This is a reachout to anyone who has used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner to uninstall and reinstall CS6. Is it possible to just uninstall and reinstall only Photoshop or does the entire CS6 Suite have to be unistalled and reinstalled?  I am about to try the CC tool. There seem to be no other options. I previously posted that Photoshop CS6 crashed on lauch. I was unable to uninstall Photoshop CS6  (or CS4, CS5.5 and CS6) using the uninstall feature in Photoshop. I downloaded Adobe Cloud Cleaner, but it hangs on lauch and has to be force quit.  Just got off the phone with Apple support. They're recommending making a copy of my files to a preipheral hard drive, erasing the  Mac drive and  doing a clean install from Time Machine.  Suggestions? Other than buying a new MAC. 

I HAVE RECEIVED EMAILS FROM ADOBE WITH ACCESS TO PHOTOSHOP AND AUDITION GIVEN FROM MY COMPANY, BUT I CANNOT ACCESS THEM, THEY DONT SHOW ON CREATIVE CLOUD, HEP PLZ! 

I've just resubscribed to CC  - special offer 25% off. Although this is a good deal, I will still be paying £10 extra each month, and only using three of the many apps. Is there any way my plan can be adjusted to financially reflect this?
