Dreamweaver

Since Dreamweaver uses responsive frameworks for some of the modern templates, it would be great to see the ability to make sure the corresponding javascript files are optimised for the layouts used. It does seem the javascript files are added in their entirity with no ability to pull parts that are not used.Is this an indication that Dreamweaver architects do not know how to manipulate javascript?Outdated jquery files have been left in the template designs and are being flagged, and probably demoted by Google algorithms.Will we be seeing some new starter templates anytime soon to address these javascript file size problems? 

I signed up for a yearly subscripton last May and don't want to renew my subscription. I'm not sure when I'm supposed to manage my account and cancel it. Do I do it on the date that my subscription started?

Hi,Today, after sometime I had to change something in my website.I havn't touched anything since the last time it was working and now, for some reason, the $_SESSION[..] array returns empty variables.I did not attach any code since I do not think this is acode issue due to teh following: I recently intalled DW 2021 but the problem occurs both in DW 2020 & 2021I use xampp as a testing server. Both Apahce & MySQL are woking fine. This only happen whne I try to previw the page using the built in preview funtion in DW.It happens both in chrome and edge where the address bar shoes :http://127.0.0.1:53154/preview/app/index.htmlIt doen not happen on the real webpag (all is woring well)It does not happen when I access the web page locally directly (all is working well):http://localhost/<mySite>/<myPage>.phpThis leads me to think it is a DW/adobe preview issue.What can I check?

Please excuse the long post. I'm trying to clearly describe this issue. Thanks in advance for your tips and solutions. I'm working a major update for a longtime client's website to make it mobile friendly and responsive. I designed the original site in GoLive CS2 v8.0.1 (before Adobe decided to kill it off). The new version of the site is built in DW CC v21.1. You can visit it here: https://chuckwild.com It's been a long and frustrating slog, but the new version looks almost as good as the original version — with the exception of one page. On the Concert Music page, I'm having trouble centering text within a div/wrapper. As you scroll down the page, you'll notice that text below each blue subtitle isn't properly centered. I'm attaching a screen shot to help illustrate this issue (I added the red arrows).  It's driving me bonkers. Hello,        I have been trying so hard for designing mobile  menu  with  data-toggle="dropdown" but couldn't work out in Dreamweaver webpage setting. And other CSS  sometimes seems like not responding layout. Could anyone help out  to such issues?         

Hello good folks. I did a clean install of BigSur on my Mac Peo 6,1 and since then I have not been able to log into my web site. It complains that the password is not in agreement with the server and etc.It worked fine with the same machine prior. Seems to me to be a Mac OS issue, but have not been able to find anyone with the same problem I am having.I even tried Fizale (sp) and it seem to be no better. So I am stumped at the moment. Any assistance would be most helpful.

I am getting a new iMac soon and was wondering how I go about this.Can I straight reset my old iMac for sale and then download and install Dreamweaver to my new one? Is it that simple? Will my monthly subscription continue unhindered?Thanks in advance!

I am trying to increase the font size in the footer.  Code shows font-size: small. In Dreamweaver and in the real-time preview the font shows as small.  However, when I move the site to a development server, the font size is still x-small/xx-small.  What am I missing?Thanks for any help.

I purchased Dreamweaver in Nov 2020, so have current version.   I have a MacOS Mojave 10.14.6I have been using Dreamweaver for over ten years, and have set up 5 sites way back when on godaddy.Back then you could have a main site with other sites in subfolders under them.  Suddenly I cannot ftp to godaddy from any of the sites.  I get "cannot connect to host" if I use the "put" menu item within dreamweweaver.  If I go to Manage Sites, and click on Servers, and click "test", I get error message "cannot connect to host...user name or password is incorrect".  The username is shown, but the password is the normal stars when not visible.  This password was set up so many years ago I don't know it, and I am afraid to guess for fear of wiping out the correct password.  When I call godaddy they say they don't support Dreamweaver and I have to call Adobe.  The only other wrinkle in all this, is that I had had a version of Dreamweaver previously to my Novem

Hello All. I have been searching for an answer about centering my navbar-brand which has an image inside it for mobile devices. My thought is that it might have to do with a media query that directs the nav-brand with the logo in it to go to the center of the navbar when it is viewed on a mobile device. I have spent hours researching this. It's making me crazy. Does anyone know how to do this?  Thanks!

Hey, I'm completely new to dreamweaver and code but I need it for a class. I've been running the rest of the adobe suite on my macbook pro for years, but for some reason I haven't been able to run dreamweaver - it either crashes on startup or freezes immediately after loading and causes me to have to force quit it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm running mojave 10.14.4. I attached the crash report.

Question - in the Property Inspector in Dreamweaver, I am missing Dreamweaver image-editing features such as Crop etc I am on windows 10, newest updated Dreamweaver. Mine looks like this/ no image edit tools -- they appear to be missing  It should look like this/ note crop, contrast etc Please advise on how to get the full image property inspector. Thank you!

Can anyone help me with my Bootstrap 4 carousel? It seems straightforward but I can't get it to advance! It is stuck on the first slide. Also the forward and back arrows do not work and the indicators at the bottom do not work. I can see all the code and I have all the relevant css and js files. Help! Kevin from Cambridge

When I've looked this up I get references to Business Catalyst which has been removed. I already have a website with Adobe Portfolio, can I also publish from Dreamweaver onto the same space? I used to have the domain connected to another hosting provider but transferred it to Portfolio. The catch is that if I wanted to build a website from the ground up on the current hosting space rather than creating another page within the Portfolio environment, I can't view or publish it anywhere. Thanks. Good Morning, I maintain six website using Dreamweaver.  I previously used FlexiMenu2 to create and update the Navigation menu on each website.  Unfortunately, FlexiMenu2 is no longer supported.  I have since purchase DMXZone Universal CSS Navigation menu, along with a few other DMXZone products. However, I am having difficulty in automatically updating all of the existing pages in each site.  How do I delete the existing FlexiMenu2 Navigation menu from the pages and replace with the DMXzone Navigation Menu?  I have created the Navigation on the Index.html page, but do not know how to replicate the new updated Navigation menu throughout all of the other pages in the website. I need help. Regards,Morris Davis

I am unable to right click and make link while in the WYSIWYG for DWCC2017. it shows unclickable.A few days earlier, I'd no such issues.I'm using HTML5 pages. Even old pages where I had made links by right click are not working in similar fashion.

Hi,I'm using a mac with Mojave 10.14 and Dreamweaver CS6. It recently crashed and upon restart, my "Manage Sites" Window was blank (no longer listed my sites). Reinstalled CS6, still has same issue. Any ideas how to get my list back? Also, now since reinstalling, I am getting the error: "While executing onLoad in BusinessCatalyst.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occured: In File "BusinessCatalyst": bcinit is not defined Any ideas why that is coming up or how to fix? Hello, When I turn on hidden characters with View->Code View Options->Hidden Characters carriage returns are bright white (I'm using a dark theme) while other characters like Tabs and Spaces are dim grey.  I really hate the bright white carriage returns and with they were the same color as other characters, but I can't seem to find a way to customize their color using main.less as I have for other elements.  Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how to do it? Thanks!

Hello Everyone,I am taking a Dreamweaver class and the Instructor is showing us how to insert the date using the Insert Panel.  The Date feature is not on the Insert Panel for HTML; however, on the menu bar, I see Insert  and HTML.  In this window, I see Date but it is grayed out.  How do I activate this so that I can complete my assignment?  Thanks. Annette

hello everyone , i have a problem : when i run extension manager and import a zxp file it tells me that the version that i use (dreamweaver) is not recent enough whereas i have version 2021CC anyone has a clue where it comes from ?? please it's important

Website made in dreamweaver and all works fine when using chrome or firefox browsers. When using safari, however, images never load unless the page is refreshed twice or the screen size is reduced down to mobile or tablet view, then the images appear fine.  I am new to coding and at a complete loss. One recommendation was to add a timespan to the images? No idea how this would help though. I have cleared cache, still the same. Tried on three devices with safari, all the same response (worked fine with chrome on all three devices). This is how the images are embedded. <p1><img src="images/ASPhysical/energetics/calorimetry2.png" width="500" height="251" alt="using specific heat capacity to find energy change"/></p1> All works fine on Chrome and Firefox when tested. Can anyone recommend a solid eCommerce platform that integrates with a site built in Dreamweaver? I am looking for a solution where I can insert coding for Product Modules which connect to the Shopping Cart on a fully built out site. I am looking to avoid a browser-based template/CMS solution.
