20.2 Lag / slow

Another user here having problems with 20.2 latency issues when typing in code.PHP and HTML seem reasonably ok, but Javascript has a noticeable lag when typing code.Tried the usual.. rebuilding index etc.And I don't think it is my CPU (Ryzen 2700X) which sits at a comfortable 3-4%

Dreamweaver code view lag

Dreamweaver is becoming impossible to use well, it is lagging incredibly when writing and editing html. I have a lot of work to do, and I'm getting more and more frustrated, when will this be fixed. I see others are having similar problems.

Find returning different results than advanced Find and Replace

Please help! I'm trying to locate instances of specific strings in all open documents. When I use Find, I'm able to locate three examples in a document, but when I use Advanced Find and Replace (with the same text string and filters) it's returing ZERO results in all 22 documents (including the one that just found 3 matches using regular Find.)

Dreamweaver hangs after every input

Hello, I am facing a serious issue in dreamweaver. whenever i type a few letters dreamweaver hangs for a few seconds. the cursor stops blinking in that time and no input can be made. this renders dreamweaver absolutely useless. what could possibly be the cause of the issue? any input is welcome.it happens in every document. be it long or short, css, html, javascript, php... doesn't make a difference. thanks, Christian

Dateienübertragung mit SSL

Hallo, ich möchte gerne die Dateienübertragung von SFTP auf FTP mittels SSL umstellen. Ich erhalte jedoch immer eine Fehlermeldung, dass die Einstellungen nicht stimmen. Was muss ich alles eingeben, bzw. ändern, dass das funktioniert? Danke für die Hilfe.

Equal height columns in any screen size and widths for divs (cellphone)

HelloI have a test page. 1 container, 1 banner div and below are 2 divs side by side.http://www.davidshelpsite.com #container: 960px#banner that holds the 2 images for the banner#left_colunm: 65%#right_colunm: 30%When viewed in a cell phone how to have the 2nd div go below the 1st one and have both go across the screen with equal widths?  Plus how to have equal height columns?Below is not working for me. Editing .inc files

Can anyone help me why I am not able to see code hints or color coding for .inc files on dreamweaver? My .inc files are all coldfusion coding

Table looks bad on iphone

I created a 5x5 table and inserted it into an html page with text-- above all text.  Looks fine on desktop, but on iphone, the table of images is superimposed on top of the text; so I'm stumped. Google does say its mobile friendly.

Go Daddy updated their hosting ...now web wont publish to their site

Go Daddy recently changed from Web Hosting Linux to  Linux Hosting with cPanel. ...Now, when I publish my updated information to their server, everything works as it always did, but the information is not updating on their end.....I called them and they cleaned the cache, but no luck....They said it's on my end somewhere....Any suggestions? I'm using Dreamweaver CS5.5....Thx

Style not working

So I'm new to dreamweaver and suddenly my style stopped working. Did i turn something on or off? it works in the body part but when i try to write it in a h or p it just comes up as text or am i just being dumb

Dreamweaver is very slow

Hello, this query is because the program is excessively slow and I do not think it is a computer problem, I also use photoshop, illustrator and indesing and they work perfectly.Dreamweaver stops every time I write in both Design view and Schedule view. Every thing I touch appears the waiting wheel or the program does not respond.Please can someone help me? I take more than an hour to make an email!Thank you

How to transition from video to opening a new webpage after video ends?

Hello -- In older versions of Adobe Suite products there were different ways to go about doing this but that now involves obsolete software.  The newer versions of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc. don't seem to offer this option or I may be wrong. I am just trying to autoplay a video fullscreen and then have a webpage launch (in the same browser) after the video finishes playing.  That's all.  Suggestions?

Install old extension from ZXP file

Just moved CS6 to new PC. Using CSS Menu Maker extension in several active web sites and need to get it installed again. CS6 Extension Manager will not load the previously-installed ZXP file because signature is said to be invalid.ZXP Installer says it isn't compatible with my installed applications.Copying over the PlugIns folder from my old PC had no visible effect. The CSS Menu Maker web site is still there, but it look as if it is a dormant company so no help from there. Grateful for advice on how to get past this licence block, or any other way to get it installed again.

PDF file reported orphaned when it isn't

I have a PDF file linked on one of my pages and when I run the Check Links Sitewide report, it comes back as showing the PDF file as orphaned. Why is that? I checked the link manually. I clicked on the link and it works. I don't understand why it reports the file as being orphaned. The PDF file is in the same folder as the HTML file, so I don't have a path in the link to the PDF file. I searched the bulletin board to find an answer and didn't see anything posted that addressed this issue. Thank you in advance.

Exporting iFrame code from Dream Weaver to Wix.com

Hi can anyone help me? I have created a Flipbook in HTML5 in Flip PDF whcih has created the traditional tinity of  index.html page and two folders of asssets. But I can't embed them to my Wix site as it only allows hosted files from a HTTPS server (which I dont have) or HTML5/HTTPS code  only to an site created iFrame. Dreamwaever in CC opens/edits the files, but i cant find anyway to convert or export the files to the Embedded HTML iframe format. Does anyone know a work around?

How to create email link with subject and body text?

Here’s the email link presently my homepage. It creates an email with the subject line “Please Help Me With My Resume!" <strong style="margin:18px;"><a href="mailto:jim@cheapfastresumes.com?subject=Please Help Me With My Resume!">jim@cheapfastresumes.com</a></strong>  Does anybody know how to have the link ALSO insert this text into the email BODY?  Hi! Please attach your resume to this email and send it to me.  Also answer these 3 questions:  (a) Is your resume up-to-date? File not on local disk??

I am suddenly getting -  "file" not on local disk. GET - when I open any of my local sites in dreamwearver. All the files show up in the Files Panel and  If I double click on the file names in the files panel the file WILL open. So obviously it is there. But when I click to open the asscociated link shown in the tool bar abouve the page I have open in dreamweaver, I get this error and the file will not display. Also my live view is acting wonkyHELP

Why remove the post??

Why remove my post in reference to the 'edit post' feature being disabled in the forum? I posted a legitimate reply to.......... hummm I currently forget the womans name at Adobe and next it was removed because the answer that was provided by Adobe didn't make any sense and I pointed that out, detailing the reasons why. Is that the reason the post was removed because of the exposure of a non-sensical decision taken by Adobe? Pretty weird stuff going down lately.

make "class" editable in <body> tag in a template

Is there a way to make only "class="xxx"" in <body> tag editable in a template? Or entire <body class="dummy_class">?What I want to do is to change the class name for each chile html so that I can use it to change the style of nave button only for the "current page". Thanks in advance, Toshi
