I am running the latest version of Dreamweaver on a Mac that is running 10.14.5The extract panel does appear when I go to Window > Extract. However, the welcome screen appears briefly and then... nothing. Nada. I have tried re-starting Dreamweaver.I have tried signing out, shutting down Dreamweaver, restarting and logging in. No dice.I have tried restarting the entire system, restarting Dreamweaver. What is going on? How can I fix this? I don't want all the good work I put into the prototype in Photoshop to go to waste.Michael

I have this error: Dreamweaver 2017 does not connect to SFTP server and you see the "Failed to Read the contents of XML Resource: IDD_SSH_KEY_CHANGE_DIALOG" error. I have followed the advice on this page: Unable to connect to SFTP in Dreamweaver But there is no such location as this on my Mac:/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CC xxxx/en_US/ConfigurationThe above is the location the Help Page asks you to go to. Older versions of Dreamweaver had an option to define how we wanted CSS to be formatted.I don't see such an option, anymore.Can we still customize that?JJ

Every time I open Dreamweaver, the application loads briefly and then immediately crashes with no error message or warning. I have looked through these discussions already and tried every solution suggested with no improvement. Whenever I select Preview in Browser, by pressing F12, using Dreamweaver’s server, it works sometimes and other times it does not. It seems to depend on the port number that is selected. I have tried to use a consistent port number by altering the json file in the configuration folder, per the instructions provided by Adobe, but this does not work. Does anyone know how to make Dreamweaver server work consistently, so that I do not get the following error: “You tried to access an external HTML page, which can not be opened on the device for preview. Hi. I've made my first P5 webpage but it slides around a lot. It's a big problem on the Chrome mobile browser because dragging down causes the page to refresh. I've tried researching ways to prevent it from sliding around and I've included all possible solutions in my css file, it helped horizontally, but nothing seems to prevent it from sliding vertically.I've pasted the relevant code below. Am I blind or has the Insert | HTML Comments menu item been removed/relocated? How do I do this now? I sometimes forget the comment syntax for the various code types and situations.

Question:  How do I get a regex wildcard to select only between the two nearest elements instead of going on to further similar elements?I have a VERY long list of names that need to have the last name separated from the rest by a tab character.  In order to accomplish this, I've inserted a placeholder character (#) just before the return of each line, and replaced all spaces in the names with a different placeholder character (@) for my regex to reference.  These names are all first, middle initial, then last, having a space on each side of the middle initial.  So, with my placeholder characters inserted, the list looks like this (short sample):Edward@C.@Sellner#James@J.@Megivern#J.@Philip@Newell#I need to replace the @ placeholder just before the last name with a tab.  When I try and do that, my regex is selecting everything between the # placeholder and the first @ placeholder, instead of stopping at the seconds @ placeholder just before the last name.

Hello everyone , i have dreamweaver CC and there is an annoying bug : Sometimes when i make a webpage and use CSS to stylise the php ,  the search input just reset , like for instance if i try to input "mydiv" and start typing m .. y ... d , the field reset and it's a bug its not something that i did wrong , someone else got this ? really that's annoying

My coworker and I are working on Windows 10, Dreamweaver 2019.  About once a week or so, whenever my coworker attempts to save a file, Dreamweaver pops up with the message: Access to [random filename].tmp was denied.  The tmp file is just some random file name that I guess DW uses.  If she clicks "ok", the message box disappears and the file she was actually working on disappears from the editor. In addition, the file is completely erased off the server. (This is a LAN/Network connection site setup.)  I noticed that the files that are being deleted at her desk, are files that I have worked on just a few days ago.  It never happens to files she has independently developed.  I have been able to recover the deleted files mostly by using older versions and source text from a browser that I happen to have open at the time.I think her Dreamweaver was updated just a few weeks ago.Any ideas?

I've taken over a website that was put together with Dreamweaver, and I'm no Dreamweaver expert.  There is a main template that lays out the header and sidebars, and most of the individual pages are based on this template.I've obviously done something wrong to the template, I guess.  In the past, when I wanted to create a new page, I just pulled up an old page, saved it under a new name, and then made the changes I needed to make to it.  The basic page had a title and a main graphic followed by text.  The title was centered, and the graphic was centered, and the text was left justified.  I've obviously done something to screw this up, even though when I look at the code it looks like it should be right.  When I put my cursor into the text region and select the CSS window, and select the "left justified" icon, everything on the page gets left justified, including the title and graphic which I still want centered. I think I've done something to the template
