Please somebody tell me this:Why has custom color coding been removed. I have been using my own customised colors.xml for YEARS and now it seems Adobe have in their infinite wisdom decided to take that ability away from me. UNBELIEVABLY ARROGANT !!!Why has the ability to wrap a snippet been removed from the ui? - its BRAINLESS, ABSOLUTELY BRAINLESS, has nobody down at Adobe got a modicum of common sense? I don't understand the point of the real-time preview, if I have a dev server set up http://localhost.dev/project/ for example how can I preview the files/site from within Dreamweaver as I normally would by accessing say http://localhost.dev/project/index.php for example and traverse an entire site? It seems I have to push the file to testing server, launch browser and enter address manually now if I want to preview the actual URL on the testing server?The code view is buggy, sometimes the code dissapearsCode hints are bit flaky, when I was working on a CSS file the new code hint menu

I created a website with Dreamweaver and it worked well for a while. Then after Google Chrome updates, the drop down menu (navbar) and hyperlinks stopped working on both Tablet PC & Android. My website is www.africantrailblazers.com. It still works on Microsoft Edge 38.14393.1066.0 (Tablet PC) and Puffin (Android). Is there a fix? Thanks!

Hello. I need help.  I don't claim to be an HTML expert, but I'm using Dreamweaver MX, and I've received an HTML file which was created in Brackets.  When opening the file, I can view the code in the top split screen, but in the design bottom pane I'm only viewing a grey screen.Pleeeeeeease can someone help me?I need to make amendments to the file, but as I can't see the design I'm finding it impossible.Thanks!

I'm a very novice user of Dreamweaver and am trying to correct error codes such as doctype must be declared. What is a doctype?

I did had an computercrash and wanted to reinstall Dreamweaver CS 5,5 from a backup desk. I did tried to open it after a reinstall from the extra hardest but get cod 213:10 and can't understand the next step for start up Dreamweaver. Can any help me in easy English  or Swedish? Hi,I can search through individual SCSS files when they are open.But when I try to do a 'Find All' search using a folder of SCSS files the search doesn't find anything ?Are there any solutions or an option in the settings?

Hi,When I open the extract panel, I choose a PSD already on my cloud to open. It shows that it is loading, but keeps loading indefinitely, with only the transparent background showing, and the four loading squares rotating. When I open the styles tab, it is blank, although the layers tab does show me my assets. When selecting an element in the layers tab, it shows me a blue outline on my transparent grid. Even when opening either of the two tabs (styles/layers), the blue and grey loading squares keep rotating. Am I doing something wrong, or is it a bug that snuck in with the new release (first time I'm using the latest version).

Earlier I had split screen in Dreamweaver CS6 set up to be viewed horizontaly. Then I had to reinstall CS6. Now I can't find anywhere in the prefences or elsewhere that allows me to do that.  Can you help please.     Peter:)

2 Issues.1. I'm working with latest 2018 Dreamweaver CC but I get a window telling me that I need to have internet access to get into this program support.I have 150 Mbps running from Virgin Media so that isn't the problem.2. I'm a beginner in Dw and I would like to find out how to delete all the failed websites I have started but which have become total wrecks.

After upgrading to the 2018 version of DW, I had some sync problems. DW seemed to think that all the local and site files had been changed. I forced the local files to the site and that problem seems to have gone except that there is an error indicated by the red circled cross on the bottom of the screen.If I hover over the error indicator I get "Connection Errors" but no errors are listed if I click on it.If I open the site dialog and select "Servers", there is one connection listed - the remote site. There is no testing server. There is a comment about "push on save" on the dialog saying that files are automatically pushed to the test server when saved and that "push on save" can be disabled on the advanced tab.I can't try this option because there is no option to disable "push on save" on the advanced tab.Is "push on save" likely to be the problem and how do I disable it.ThanksJack

Hi, I'm using Dreamweaver 5 and I'm having a little trouble adding an addition Menu Button to an existing page.  Push it and it goes to another page on the site.I copy and pasted, then changed the name and directory to goto the new page.  But, it doesn't go there.  Can anyone help?"Dog Training" is the button I'm trying to add.Below is what I've got, everything works except "Dog Training". Good afternoon!I have an end user who is using Dreamweaver CS6 on a MAC and would like to install the Subweaver extension for his MAC.  I found, and know how to install and configure subweaver_0_04.mxp for PC but am unable to find any information on subweaver for MAC. Hi, I have been using Dreamweaver CS6 for a long time and now at my place of work they have updated to Dreamweaver cc 2017. In CS6 there was an option whereby you could hide comments and for example a comment like this one in a jsp file would show up as grey. Ex: <%-- This is a comment --%> .In Dreamweaver cc 2017 the same comment now shows as <%-- This is a comment --%> .This is very confusing as now it is the same color as <p> or other html code. Any one knows a way how to hide these comments or make them appear as grey.

Its my understanding that the old server behaviors panel is broken in Dreamweaver (windows versions) since v17,1 and still not fixed in v17.5.  Whilst its an old outdated feature, its required sometimes to work on old projects. also some third party extensions make use of the panel.Are there any plans to fix this, given the rumours that Dreamweaver is going to be canned soon: Server behaviours not works with 17.1 version – Adobe Dreamweaver CC: Feature Ideas

I'm still learning this Bootstrap css so the answer is probably obvious. I have a menu page with a row and two columns. Everything works fine until it hits the xs parameter. The headers move outside their boxes and show up in random sections. Why have the boxes at the top of the file page been removed to switch between code view and design view ?? You now have to go to the view menu everytime and switch between Standard and developer you can't even use any key commands to switch ( none are listed) and evey time you do switch to standard it uploads evey files associated with the page.Now sure what the developers at adobe are doing but it seems they take 1 step forward and 15 steps backward. I want consistency in the GUI so I don't have to relearn how to use the program again and find all they things they've hidden that use to be used all the time. I am sorry but since Adobe bought DW they product has gotten worse and continues in that trend with each new release.

Hi,I have two landing page templates I'm building and I have seemed to mess up the video function. On the hero image I have a play video button the when clicked the hero image slides down and a video appears up top of the page. Nothing has changed on the youtube API script (I think) for I have double checked the code. I can't figure it out.
