Dreamweaver

This happens to me several times a day when I am working in Dreamweaver. If I move the window when something else is going on, or if it takes too long to finish a search, or if for any reason, Dreamweaver turns grey and says "Not Responding", then if/when it comes back up, it strips off the menubar and toolbars and I have to close and reopen it to get them back. This is obviously a bug making it change states like this, but is it changing to a state that is a "feature" that can be turned on or off with a keyboard command so that I can get back to my workspace without having to restart several times a day?I currently have 2017.5 build 9878, but this has been happening through several builds for several months. Not completely discounting my older Windows 7 computer being the cause of this. Running OKAfter "Not Responding"

I am using Dreamweaver CS5. i am using the tabbed panels in my website. I have built a template. Now I am adding a child page. In the content of one of the panels I need to add links. I have tried everything but the links do not work when testing. I really need this to work. Please help. Thank you in advance.

This may sound stupid but at some point in the DW life cycle the developers have taken out a way to easily make nested lists (ol, ul, etc.). Before you could be in live view, on a list element, and hit tab and it would nest the element properly. Now hitting tab does nothing and if you next a list manually and then try and edit that list in live view, it almost always REMOVES the nested list you just built!I don't always need to mess with nested lists, but it just so happens I had a ton to do for a client and it was a PIA fighting with DW the entire time.And this is present in the Windows and Mac versions, BTW.

My brother wants me to add 2 American flag motion gifs to the sides of his logo. I tried adding one, but it keeps defaulting to the 2nd line. I'm used to working with html pages but these are phps. What am I doing wrong?Window Stickers

I am on Mac OS 10.12.I have websites with the fichier.site who runs the site created with CS5.I can't open them with Dreamweaver CS 2017 and CS 6. I have recently created a website by following the dreamweaver responsive grid layout tutorial. When I insert the image carousel from the bootstrap components, the webpage moves from central to left aligned. Although still responsive to different devices, I was wondering if you knew how to make the website centralised again? I don't know whether the best method is to alter the bootstrap component carousel or whether there is alternative code that I can embed that will give the same outcome.Along the same lines, I would also like to insert a testimonial slider at the bottom of my webpage. I didn't know what the best method was to adopt so that the page remains responsive and centralised within the grid layout.I would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi all. I just switched back to Mac after a 6 month hiatus and have not been able to get my Dreamweaver CC (latest) to sync the saved settings from the cloud. It's logged in, but the "sync settings now" is grayed out. I've tried to fix by logging out of CC, back in, and launching DW again several times but it hasn't helped at all. I'm not seeing any errors, it just looks like it doesn't want to sync at all. And this is a fresh install as well.Thanks for any assistance.

I can bring up the Adobe Extension Manager screen. I can bring up the BrowserLab (Preview/Local-Network) pop-up, Can even get the cslive_help.pdf. I can not find any way to remove the BrowserLab extension from Dreamweaver. Anyone know how to do that?

After SFC scan and a clean install the comptability issues of Dreamweaver 2017.5 with Windows 10 continues.Troubleshooter notes a incompatibel program with Windows 10.

I know this may sound silly but I use to be able to highlight code in code view and drag that code up or down a few lines.  As of yesterday (July 16), I am not able to do that. I have closed and restarted the app and I show no updates available.  Anyone else have this issue? I also have  a keyboard shortcut that says it is set but will not work.  Such little things but I am so use to doing these things and it is driving me crazy.Thanks in advance for helping.

Hi guys,I downloaded dreamweaver cc which is the latest version and also installed bootstrap with it. Just want to know if anyone knows how to centre the whole navigation bar from bootstrap component. I have tried to put in properties but it does not work at all, also tried adjusted the margin also does not work. Can someone guide me on this?

When you open the first time Dreamweaver, to have a guide tour with the option to select a "legacy" configuration.In this way it should be more easy to use it.Now it's impossible to use, too differences from the previous version and... please fix the issue with the add-on server behaviour panel.

In Dreamweaver 2017, Find and Replace doesn't work properly.It only finds words using the Current Document or Open Document search.It won't find words in the Current Site search mode. When I type a word that occurs in some of the closed pages, and then press the "Find All" button, the beachball appears briefly, and no pages are opened.I recreated the site cache and restarted Dreamweaver, but that search still doesn't work.

So I created a checkbox group using the "Insert-Checkbox group" tool. - Looks good. Now, I want to go back to the dialog box and add additional options - but I dont know how to reopen the box where I added my values to create the group. Can someone pls tell me how. Thanks.

Helloi recently updated to DW 2017my main problem is when i double click to select an element including the php $ symbol, the past version only selects the "name" of the variable, leaving aside the $ symbol, this new version includes the symbol in the select, how can i only select the name?regards

I am sorry for the general title, I have no idea how to describe this problem. Also sorry for the picture of me, I could not screen cap this. About 1/10th of the time I open up a file and it doesn't display. Instead what I seem to get is a graphics error.This is my work computer and it is a 2009 with mismatched RAM (yes I know) so I think it's probably too old, but this is nearly making my workflow grind to a halt at least 4 times a day. The o only way to prevent or stop it is to quit DW and restart.Does anyone else have this problem?

I am having a problem with Dreamweaver (new user) that I can't seem to solve.Having problem that in the pages I am building if I put in an external link to http://www.google.com and select it to view in an external browser the URL that shows in the browser is    "http://127.0.0.1:60882/preview/app/index.html"    which is the URL that the live device preview link sent to my iPhone, something else that not is working.Any suggestion on how to proceed is welcomed....

Attached are a few screenshots of what i am referring to.I am needing to make an email for my boss to send out to clients. However, I am VERY new to dreamweaver. I know, not ideal to start here but no other choice.... So i want the social media icons and the phone number and website to be flush with the header, as it is in Fireworks, however, there is just this strange white margin between them, and it looks to be in the table that the header image is in. Tried to change the colspan/rowspan and that just moves everything else around.I have td img {display: block;} in the top of the coding.I have watched every youtube video there is. Hi, I'm building a new website and I'm really stuck. I built a product data base using php my admin and xampp. I successfully connected the site to the server but when I access it on google, it shows up that the site is not there. I think there is an error in my code but I can't figure out what. I'm trying to make an e-commerce site and this is so difficult. Can someone please tell me what is wrong. Hi, I’m looking to create a video gallery on a webpage, same manner as an image gallery, where there would be one main viewing section for a video to play in and thumbnails beneath it to click on to launch different videos. Couldn't see any tutorials on how to do this exactly, the videos are a mix of MP4s and a couple of YouTube links – I’m used to working in the CS5 version of Dreamweaver, so would it be easier to use the newer version of Dreamweaver to do this, and if I do would that mean having to create alternate versions of the MP4 videos for HTML5 coding purposes? I have a reference manual that was created in Dreamweaver and I wanted to know if it could be converted into another program to edit and post. I believe the program was built in html. However, I am trying to save money by not getting training on writing code for the web version.

Using windows 8. Ever since I downloaded 2017.5 I have one major and one minor issue that ultimately make DW unusable.1) Starting dreamweaver creates a node.exe process which *kills* my high-end system for several minutes. I can't do anything on the system for several minutes after opening dreamweaver2) Alt-tabbing into dreamweaver now has a few seconds of delay every time. So if you work flow is "Edit, save, alt-tab, refresh, alt-tab back to DW" You end up waiting several seconds waiting for DW each time you alt-tab into it. This seems related to the git integration - I use git on every project I work on, but I wish I could disable that integration if it means DW is going to studder and pause for between 300 and 2000ms every time I alt tab into it.The work around I've found is to close DW, kill all node.exe proceses, and rename "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017\node" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017\node_disabled".I've done some basic process analys

I am still confused on which to use. Basically I want a user to be able to pick multiple selections with at least one selection REQUIRED. I  love the radio button but I read only one selection can be picked. But then I read that the checkmark allow multiple selections but it allows user not to select atleast one ( is this true?) - I am trying to avoid the Dropdown list but does it seem like my only choice? - Also can I accomplish this using individual radio buttons instead of the radio button group? I have over 25 selections. Thanks for your help.
