Hi,With this post I would like to submit a feature request.It would be very useful if Dreamweaver would support version control using GIT. (and others)Other development tools like IntelliJ, Netbeans, ... have this feature already implemented.Users should be able to commit/pull files, watch the history of files, revert files, manage branches, etc...Thanks

We recently increased security on a web server to only accept certain ciphers in order to make our box more secure. However, after making this change, users can no longer upload in Dreamweaver. If we revert the change, the user has no issues. For more information, we had a user who had been using PuTTY before to upload files with no issues. After the change, the user was experiencing issues, but we determined that was because they were using a PuTTY version that didn't have ciphers listed as an option in PuTTY's configuration (see screenshot below). After upgrading the users to the newest client, the were back up and running.I've contacted Adobe about this, but the employee asked me what ciphers were, so I knew I wasn't going to have any luck.Can anyone provide insight on the Dreamweavers' encryption or (even better) the ciphers supported by the product.

Hello,I did the Raven theme for Brackets. Raven Dark is using colors from the older versions of that theme. I recently updated the colors to reflect the original Dreamweaver CC 2015 theme. They are slightly darker and in my opinion, easier to read.  Just thought the Dreamweaver team should know!Thank you!

Is it possible to house the navigation in a separated page which then gets pulled into each page in Dreamweaver.Or am I forced to go thru the entire website adjusting the NAV on each page?Muse has a nice function for housing the HEADER and FOOTER in a separated page, where you then just adjust in one place and it's reflected across the site.Thanks,Alldaron

We have CC2015 and CC2017 but have the same issue on both.our set up is a device licence model rather then per user so the previous solutions of logging off and leaving 15 mins before logging back on with a CC account will not work under this setup.As you can see below, Extract is left at the loading stage and will not progress any further.My question is whether the Extract option is available under a device CC licence model ?ThanksAndy

hi,i am using dreamweaver cc on mac os sierra and this really is an odd one I have created a website with external links e.g. <a href="www.freebmd.org.uk">FreeBMD<\a> in a ul list.However after I loaded the website to the internet and click on the link you just get a 404 error and there are 8 other links that do not work.I checked the page in dreamweaver and tested the links offline but they did not work there either but I was able to copy/paste the url into safari/opera/chrome and firefox and they work. It gets odder as I created the web page in Aptana, tested the links and they worked.  Has anyone in the universe ever had this type of issue or am I the first????Any help gratefully received.Steve Hawkes

So, my website, www.dennyxsoloist.com isn't allowing me to click on external links. Now when I right click the links, they work but when I go to click on the actual icon, they don't do anything. I've tried linking them in properties, css design. I don't know what else to do. I tripled checked the links and the codes, it even says my external links are all broken in the check links section but when I click to open url in browser it works just fine.

When I select a snippit the name of it immediately changes, as if I want torename it. I cannot insert the snippit while its name is in this mode.It's extremely frustrating! Steve

Cannot see gradient background in live view created using CSS properties. I can however see the gradient background that was created in the document in an open browser after saving. Can anyone help?

I'm using Dreamweaver 2017.1 (build 9583).I suddenly started getting these unwanted margins on the left and right of my web page, regardless of device and screen width. I do not get them in Dreamweaver live preview, only online.Against the image background, the page is a centered div container with a class "container-fluid" whose css paddings and margins are all 0. Bootstrap used to put 15px left and right margins, but I reset them to 0. Now I'm getting these margins again, and bootstrap .container-fluid margins and paddings are still 0.How do I remove these left and right margins so the container fills the entire with of any viewport?

Hello,I am fairly new to Dreamweaver. I have recently added a jumbotron image to the page I am working on. When I go to preview the page, Internet Explorer is able to load the current page; however, in Chrome, all changes load except the image. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Thank you!

Hello,I'm simply trying to add a bootstrap navbar - the default one - and it inserts the code but there is ZERO formatting or css applied. What am I missing? I have a styles.css sheet and a boostrap.css sheet. Shouldn't the snippet insert the css formatting into one of these automatically?Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I installed an update to Dreamweaver CC2017 today and it broke the software to the point that I couldn't even start it. After wasting an hour getting into it, I finally got the file open I needed to look at. Only problem is all the lines are indented in every which way except the correct way. I swear Dreamweaver is the most useless and aggravating software I've used. I don't want to edit the file because I don't want it to save the file with all the lines indented everywhere. Notepad++ can get this correct, why can't Adobe? Is there anything I can do, or am I just screwed, again?

When i edit a html file which has external css and js files, the scroll position is always on top of the file when i switch between the files.Example:I need to edit code at line 500 in my html file, scroll position is around that line, so i can see the cursor and the code i want to edit. Now i switch to an external CSS file. When i now switch back to source code of the html file, the scroll position ia at the top of the file, not at line 500 where my cursor is. Now i have to scroll down again to that line 500 where i want to edit the code.Problem is on my iMac with macOS Sierra 10.12.5 (16F73)Dreamweaver CC 2017.1 9583 BuildI do not have the problem on my Windows machine with the same Dreamweaver version.How can i fix this? I can not work fluently if i have to scroll to down everytime.
