Hello,We currently use Nitro Pro sitewide in our environment. We are considering switching to Acrobat Pro but before we do so we would like to a couple of users to trial it.Googling 'acrobat pro trial' takes me to a consumer web page where I get a trial for only 7 days and have to enter credit card details for a subscription for after the trial expires. I don't want this because we would pay for it via a reseller with bulk pricing, single key etc..How do I get the enterprise equivalent of the trial? Thanks
When will it be possible to create a Creative Cloud 4.6.1 package from the Admin Console? When I create a package it installs 4.6.0, not the latest version, 4.6.1. Support told me I need to install 4.6.0 first and then auto-update to 4.6.1. I do not want to enable auto-update and I'd rather install Creative Cloud with an admin package rather than download the public download since we disable several options with the Admin Console package.
Hello,We are running into the same problem. Creative Cloud is forcing an update to version 4.7 and it fails at 42%. I was able to find the off-line install, but it is for version 4.6 still.Uninstalling and reinstalling on all my team workstations is not an option. Is there a URL where 4.7 can be downloaded? Is there another work-around to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling?Thank you.

I am exhausted... been trying to re-install adobe CC for more than 2 days now. Recently the adobe CC has the issue with error message to say some file cannot be started or missing... I can't really remember what was that. And then there is an "upgrade" and I clicked upgrade and that when the issues are getting worse.I've uninstall all the program, I have use the Cleaner tool, I have turn off the antivirus... and managed to install CC desktop app... BUT... stuck in installing photoshop at 92%....... Not so sure what cause it... and now I try direct installation by downloading it from https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2018-direct-download-links.html .While doing this.. I tried to call Adobe support, and they connected me to the Team department because my license is for enterprise one. Waited for almost one hour and no one answered me.... What a good support it is.... oh well... any one can help me please?Actually, I just do the direct download, and receiving a crash report when trying
A customer of ours uses Server 2016 Remote Desktop Server..They have Adobe Acrobat DC en Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on the Remote Desktop Server. If Acrobat DC is the default PDF application:When you turn the previewpane on in the Windows Explorer and you 'preview' a PDF file located on a networkshare the preview prevents you from deleting the file. You can't delete the file because the file is in use by 'Windows Explorer'.If Acrobat Reader is the default PDF application the preview works fine and you are able to delete the PDF-file.This isn't a workable workaround for the customer because they edit +/- 200/300 PDF files a day.We tried replacing the PDFPrevHndlr.dll from Acrobat DC with the PDFPrevHndlr.dll from AcrobatReader and from a clean Acrobat DC installation on Windows 10 (which doesn't experianced the problem). But the other PDFPrevHndlr.dll won't work with the installation they complete break the pdf-previewer.Is there any way to resolve this issue for the customer?Greeting
I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this issue. I was recently tasked with getting SSO setup for Spark with Premium Features, SSO works great, but the problem is how do we keep our 14,000 users up to date without manual intervention and dealing with CSV files. So we moved onto implementing the User Sync Tool.I went through the SSO, User Sync Tool, and Adobe I/O setup guides and things are working fairly well. We are at the point where we can sync our LDAP users from AD into the admin console (They appear under directory users). However when we add the "--process-groups" switch to these commands below (Also tried preserve instead of exclude in both commands) it goes through the ldap read/load fine but as soon it gets to the Start Sync with UMAPI it fails."Python user-sync.pex -t --users all --process-groups --adobe-only-user-action exclude" or "Python user-sync.pex --users group "Adobe Sync Test" --process-groups --adobe-only-user-action exclude"Here is the output I'm getting

I've been banging my head on this problem for a few days now, and can't seem to find a resolution. I'm moderately familiar with packaging and scripting installs, so there is a possibility my issue lies with my understanding of patching MSI files with MSP's.I'm trying to create a custom installation of Acrobat Reader DC 2017 using the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC. The downloads I'm starting off with are:AcroRdrDC1701220093_en_US.exeWhich contains: abcpy.ini AcroRdrDCUpd1701220093.msp AcroRead.msi Data1.cab list.txt setup.exe setup.iniCustWiz1502020039_en_US_DC.exeStep 1: Extract files from AcroRdrDC1701220093_en_US.exe using 7zip to a folder called ReaderStep 2: Install Acrobat Customization Wizard DCStep 3: Launch ACW, load AcroRead.msi from Reader folderStep 4: Modify the settings,
My accounting department is requiring me to change to Invoicing only (and not the credit card) due to the size of our team now (we have 7 users at almost $500/month). I contacted the support group at Adobe, and they told me I would have to cancel my account and create a new one. That would be a hassle for my team to reset that all up. If that is the only option, then I will have to start looking at other products. Seriously Adobe, this should be a simple change. I'm very disappointed to hear this is the only option.
Hello, we are trying to install Acrobat Pro via Adobe Customization Wizard on a Terminalserver environment. Installation works fine, however we have some users which use the German language pack, and others using English. I'm trying to achieve Acrobat to ask users, for the first time they start the client, which language they would prefer. Currently it always selects German as default, since this is our system language. Is there any solution for this via Customization Wizard or registry, to force Acrobat displaying the language selection popup?I would appreciate any help.Kind regards,Morris
Hi,My employer allows us to use the complete CC suite (except for the cloud) on our home pc. We can use our company pc and email to download installers.Photoshop for example is a zip (Photoshop_CC_EN_64) that contains (among a few other things) a msi with the same name and a setup.exeOnce installed, the app is EN only.I installed the CC local app (from the public website) but that does not seem to find the local Photoshop app. And even then, the idea seems to be that you remove the EN app and re-install it in the new language. How can I change the language of the EN app I now have? Thanks!
Hello everybody.Where can I disable the chrome extension installation request in Acrobat Customization Wizard DC?
Hi,we've a small enterprise setup, with 7 Mac running CC and we're looking to deploy updates through RUM.We don't want these 7 Mac clients to directly download the updates without admin intervention, so that we did suppress manual updates when creating the packages. Now, we've just tried to invoke RUM on 1 client using ARD, but we got:Error 126 /bin/bash: line 1: /usr/sbin/RemoteUpdateManager: Permission deniedTo me it sounds as a user's permissions problem, because all the actual users of these 7 Macs don't have admin privileges, but perhaps I'm wrong.I hope someone can help me to get this problem solved.Kind Regards
OK just got a cc suite with 6 device license through a reseller because we got a deal from them. VIP level 4 I think, anyway trying to install this "thing" has been nothing but issues. First I had to build my software that I bought... then it didn't work so I had to rebuild it again. so finally I get the software to install on the machines but now it goes into trial mode even thou I have licenses available. The videos are good for nothing, The "help" system is terrible, you try to follow along with it and it looks nothing like it's described on the page that is supposed to help you. You go down links that are not what you want to do. I find this Adobe Creative Cloud license packagethat may be the problem but not really sure, because if I had to build the software it's possible I also have to do your job and build a license file. The admin console makes no sense am I adding users to the console? am I adding them to be able to use the software? who knows the help that you have is not goo
Hello family!I am having a major issue with our Adobe Acrobat Pro DC! We are unable to sign any documents with our smart card. It does not recognize that there is a smart card plugged in at all. I have tried the trusted certificates, i have attempted to remove security (it's greyed out due to policy). We just got on windows 1709 win10 image and are struggling to get this resolved. Here is the error:The Windows Cryptographic Service Provider reported an error:A device attached to the system is not functioning.Error Code:31We have tried several smart card readers, tried changing the certs. Nothing is working. I did notice that the certificate I normally use has a yellow exlamation mark but even when selecting a good certificate and go to sign the document it does not see any cards in the reader.Thoughts?
Hi AdobeI have recently deployed Acrobat Reader DC to my company and we have Protected View set to All files by default however, the end user is able to modify that setting. I have been exploring the possibility of controlling this setting by a registry key via Group Policy which is easy enough. But I haven't been able to find anything that defines what "Files from protentially unsafe locations".Are you able to provide me with what a potentiall unsafe location is please?
Hey there,I got a problem getting my Adobe Creative Cloud to work.After installing the package and after starting the Adobe Creative Cloud I get this Message:Can not reach Adobe-Server... check your firewall .... and so on...The System is Windows 10 (18xx)We are working with a whitelist and every needed adress should be in there.Here is a Part of the Logfile which , i think, should be the problem:09/20/18 14:53:34:838 | [INFO] | 7080 | ASU | OPM | IMSLib_OPMWrapper | | | 2884 | Failed in getting value for key in OPMGetValueForKey domain:OOBE subDomain:ProxyCredentials key:ProxyUsername09/20/18 14:53:34:838 | [INFO] | 7080 | ASU | OPM | IMSLibHelper | | | 2884 | Failed to get proxy user name from local db in getProxyCredentialsFromLocalStore09/20/18 14:53:34:838 | [INFO] | 7080 | ASU | OPM | IMSLibHelper | | | 2884 | Failed to get proxyCredentials from local store in setProxyCredentialsForHTTPRequest09/20/18 14:53:34:838 | [INFO] | 7080 | ASU | OPM |
I am trying to find a way to detect the version of Acrobat installed on a computer. Since the 2017 install file is the same for Standard and Professional, my discovery tool shows them as the same software title. Is there a way to tell the difference between the two? Such as the build number that I can see the system to scan for.
I have over $50,000 in renewals coming up. When I bring up the user console I don't see "Last Login Date" anywhere so that I can remove users who no longer use the product. Where can I find this information?
I've been a loyal Adobe user until now... Today six random people from my company were added to my group's creative cloud account without my authorization. One of them was a one month Acrobat subscription that expired six months ago - now it is a full CC account that I am now expected to pay for. Three of the others are expired CC accounts. None of the people (who have been very nice btw) that I can actually get on the phone can tell me why this was done or have the ability change it. They keep pushing me back to my Customer Success Manager who threatens " heavy penalty fee going forward" if I don't combine people from other groups into my my group's plan. Is this the right way to treat a customer? What is going on?????
I have a cluster of systems that are running the following:macOS 10.13.6Adobe Creative Cloud 2018RemoteUpdateManager 2.2.0.2Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop 4.6.0.391I also use JAMF Pro for managing Macs, along with Apple Remote Desktop. I'm running RemoteUpdateManager via script or via ARD Unix command as root, and it keeps coming up as no updates are available. However, I know there applications that are out of date. For example, Adobe Photoshop, current version as of this post is 19.1.6, installed version is 19.0.1.This does not seem to be affecting all the systems I manage. There just seems to be inconsistency among all the Macs where we have CC 2018 installed. Other than a full un-install and re-install, which is not possible at this point in time (we are EDU and semester just began), what troubleshooting options do I have to resolve this on systems exhibiting this behavior? Thanks.
Hello, need an offline installer for Photoshop CC. The user should enter his license key/Adobe ID only after installation - we are not interested in using Creative Cloud or any other cloud option. Thanks!
