Rectangular Marqee tool for Healing is needed a lot for years, please add it, thank you.
Buona giornata a tutti
Developer tools in full screen? At least Heal tool, please.
I wish I could preview and browse quickly photos in full screen, but the problem is it when I start to browse, it shows "Loading" for a couple seconds until the photo is previewed ad full resolution. 1:1 previews helps a lot for this, but it takes too much space on local drive. So, I wis I could move 1:1 previews to external thunderbolt SSD for the moments I need this option.
I wish I could sort my collections to folders. Similar way like Apple Music can sort playlists, or like regular on any file browser.
In Slideshow, the image in the Template Preview correctly zooms to Fit, but when you Play the slideshow, or export the video, the image reflecst the original image size. The only way to fix this is to open each image in PhotoShop, manually change the image size, and then resave the image back into Lightroom. This is extremely tedious and timeconsuming when you have 100's of images in a slideshow. A much better approach would be to have a "Check Box" in the Layout section that will automatically resize/zoom the image to Fit the screen in Play mode.
DOF is mixed blessing for smartphone raw files -- way too deep in focus to supress backgrounds because of the high crop factors. The Early Access Lens Blur looks really promising for this but "100" is way too little. Like it to emulate the boken of a full frame at f4.9. Either a hign-blur option or maybe check the metadata for the crop factor.
As a wedding and portrait photographer, I frequently do quick two shot(sometimes 3 or 4, but that's besides the point.)portraits to stitch together into a square image. I generally do two horizontal images, one full length, then one ~shoulders up and getting the sky/background. My issue is that humans blink and make goofy faces all the time... and Lightroom seems to have gotten better and better at picking the worst possible option when merging a panorama. Is it really too much to ask to be able to select a "priority" image when making a panorama? I know I can jump into Photoshop and have all the control I need, but that takes more time than I want to spend... I have to shoot and edit thousands of photos every week and moving between programs slows down my workflow too much. [Moved to ideas by moderator]
Hello! I would love it if tethered capture in lightroom classic allowed users to overlay an older image so its possible ti use it as a refference to place the camera in a similar disrtance/angle as the reference photo.
1. first of all: sorry my limited englishfeature: show faces that provoked a new face suggestion? in a suggested face a context menu let us SEE/FILTER faces which helped to decided the name of which face is..... I have a lot of photos (more than 150k) and sometimes i have a face that is bad named and when I add new photos I see on similiar photos that arent similar really, they are just misplaced on face catalog, I would like a feature/tool to help me find these errors.
I suggest to implement a "Covert to HDR" entry in the Settings menu. This way we could add a KBSC to it and easily toggle HDR just like we can toggle BW. .
Another request is to be able to have a few more target collections exist simultaneously. For example, I would like to go through folders of photos and press the “B” key to send some photos to one collection, and then press a different key to send photos to a different collection. This would save me from having to go through a folder of photos two times. And if I could have 3 target collections simultaneously, that could save me from having to go through a folder of photos 3 times. And etc. Thanks
1) Please update your Lightroom Classic Book Module to include Blurb’s new “Mini Square” 5x5 in. book format. I make photo books for some of my clients and I love the way the book module works in Lightroom Classic. It has the best integration of any book making tools I’ve used. It makes it very easy to correct and edit photos after I’ve placed them in the book layout with very minimal effort. I have already contacted Blurb about the lack of the “Mini Square” size book in Lightroom Classic’s Book Module and Blurb says the ball is in Adobe’s court on this issue. Thanks 2) Another request is to be able to have a few more target collections exist simultaneously. We also need the neural filters to be added to Adobe Lightroom, at least the face retouching and the depth of field features as it will make the post-processing faster and it's something that is being done automatically that doesn't need layers or brushes so it's applicable.
Lr needs an option, on catalog upgrade, to "upgrade in place", so as not to change the filenaming scheme that the user has already put in place. This could be as unobtrusive/simple as: Duplicate the catalog files Zip up the copy set with an archive name (user or automatically generated for schema version) Delete the "copy" files Upgrade the catalog without changing it's name I have no use for the catalog schema version number unless I'm trying to recover back to a particular version. This would be more useful to me: Why is this valuable to me? Because I have multiple Lr catalogs and each time they need upgrading I have to do the file management and naming for each catalog in order to retain straightforward naming structures. Otherwise the names start to get out of control (see below). Doing this manually introduces the jeopardy of the user deleting something that they didn't mean to delete...
At today we can directly invert the selected Tool or selected Mask using respectively the keyboard shortcuts ' or Cmd/Ctrl + 'There is though no way to hide the currently selected Tool or Mask via a KBSC I frankly find myself needing to hide or temporary hide the selected Mask or Tool infinitely more times than I need to invert it so I suggest to implement a KBSC or string for "Show/Hide Selected Mask or Tool" As for Show Overlay by holding the KBSC we should able to hide the Mask or Tool as long as we hold the key, no history step added in this case. I know we can Hide a Mask or tool via right click menu but is only possible if we right click precisely the edit pin, so is not that fast and that's why I make the FR. If not a KBSC at least if we if we had the string we could assign a custom KBSC to it either via Mac Os or Any Shortctut plug-in by
As far as I can reproduce it, since LrC 13.x HDR, Panorama and HDR Panorama mergers result in Lossy Compressed DNGs. That's a total no go. Dear Adobe, please revert this instanly by an over night fix or give us at least an easy to find checkbox in the settings to decide that by ourselves. We don't need Adobe making that kind of decisions for us creatives, that's anti creative.
Hello everyone. I'm seeking some help to solve a strange issue. Yesterday I finally bit the bullet and updated from Win7 -> Win10. As a result I was finally able to update Adobe CC, PS, and Lightroom. Previously I was running the latest version of Lightroom which could exist on Win7 (which I think was version 6). Anyway, I completed the update to Lightroom Classic v10.1.1 and noticed the menu bar is now a bright white. Personally I find this very distracting. Looking back through the forum it seems like there were a couple people who had a similar issue a couple years ago. They were able to solve by updating to the latest version. Obviously, that hasn't worked for me.I also tried to reinstall Lightroom v6. The menu bar was now white. I also tried to revert back to Lightroom Classic v10.1. The menu bar was white. Then updated again to the latest version v10.1.1. The menu bar is still white. Of course I also tried going thro
When using the face recognition to add names to captions automatically, the names are only exported in alphabetical order to the metadata, not LEFT to RIGHT, with the names matching the position that the people are pictured in the photos. When adding names to photo captions, the names need to be listed in order from left to right and not alphabetically. This should be the default order for adding names to photos using face recognition. It makes no sense to list the people in a photo alphabetically.
I work on hundreds of pictures at a time and I have been waiting for Lightroom to get this feature for years. It seems like a simple feature that should be added. Especailly since Bridge has had it for as long as I can remember. I am talking about a BATCH option. I don't mean syncing lightroom edits to other pictures. I mean batching through photoshop using actions. Like on Bridge you would go up to Tools>Photoshop>Batch... So here is what I am wanting to do. I shoot a lot of people on a solid background and then cut them out to put on another background. I usually set up actions in photoshop to do most of the cutting out and switching out the backgrounds for me. After culling through my pictures I would like to select all of the pictures and click on a button to run batch actions straight from Lightroom. I've tried doing this using Bridge and Lightroom together but I get tons of metadata errors. They get along as good as fighting siblings. I even have pictures disapp
Allow for grouping of masks. If multiple masks are used the masking panel can quickly become confusing. Being able to group masked would help in that case. This would also help if multiple presets are applied on a photo if masks belonging to a preset are automatically put into a group named after that preset.
Since the latest update using jpegxl for compressed DNG files, the use of cloud services like google drive for backup storage is negatively impacted, since preview images won't show. It's a shame, because the smaller file sizes offered by the new compression actually make the rest of the workflow much nicer. Not to mention that finder/explorer also cannot preview the files currently. An option in the DNG conversion settings to maintain standard jpeg as the format for embedded previews would allow users to take advantage of the benefits associated with jpegxl for storage and features, while not breaking the file preview experience in almost every other app.
Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to bring up a loupe overlay png file in the live view window? I know Capture One has this option and as a full time commercial photographer, this feature alone is making me consider switching. I've done a tone of digging and can't seem to find a yay or nay on the subject so I'm asking the question here. Thx.
Sorry if this has been discussed before. What if there was an option in the "Export As A Catalog" function to have the export done in the previous version format? For example, "Export As A Catalog" folders or files that have been processed in LrC V 13.x in a format that can be Imported into LrC 12.x. This would ease the problems of users who have already processed images in V13.x and because of bugs or whatever need to go back to V12.x.
In a big catalog it's hard keeping an overview of collections which have already been used for images in one disk folder. When sorting images into collections (I am in the left pane on the disk folder tree) it would be helpful, when already used collections (inside the selected folder) are displayed below the disk folder, nearby other normal subfolders. Example for a disk structure: Pictures 2023-10-01 normalSubfolder1 collectionA <----- collectionB <----- 2023-10-02 collectionA <----- collectionX <----- They should have a diff
