Instant rough cut.Even in 2023, I can't find anything close to this action: - Go through a bin's selected clips to establish rough in and out points, or select complete head-tail clips.- COPY selected Bin clips in either list or storyboard view.- Swich to timeline. PASTE to see an instant rought cut in list order OR- in whatever storyboard order the user arranges. All preliminary in-out marks honored. Result is linked video audio pairs strung together on a single video/audio track. Haven't seen this since Avid and FCP work. It's a powerful timesaver. Best as always,Loren

Add Podcast Adobe Voice Enhance Feature in Premiere Pro
Each project I start, I go to the audio track mixer tab and to a Master track I add couple effects, hard limiter and multiband compression, it takes a lot to play around with them, which is why I think we should be able to make a preset for the Track mixer, if not per track, then hopefully per effect.
I cannot find a way to flag a clip as REJECTED the same way you would in Bridge. It's nice that we have 1 to 5 stars and also nice that those stars are carried over to Bridge. But I cannot find a shortcut or menu item or icon to flag a clip as rejected or as -1 stars. An idea would be to add the crossed circle icon next to the 1st star, like in Bridge. The reason I want it is so that when I complete the project, I can go back to bridge and easily erase the unused video files. Thank you
Hi Team, Is there an ETA on when will captions created with Transcribe tool be able to use animations?I can do that on manual texts, but would be great if Captions created by the Transcribe tool could have that enabled or if we could just drag-drop the effects to them just like it can be done to manual texts. Thanks for takign the time to read this post. Sam.
Markers should be movable as simply as we move footage. Select multiple markers by dragging, then delete or copy/paste. Ripple delete moves markers on a sequence, but doesn't delete the markers inside the in/out of the ripple delete. Select all forward doesn't select markers. For people like me who only/mostly work on scripted shows I use markers all the time. It would be lovely if they were more malleable.
After addressing this issue in another thread it struck me that it would be useful if Premiere Pro could display sequence durations in clock time as an option (in addition to the timecode display), meaning actual duration in minutes and seconds. This would be particularly useful for frame rates with timecode displays that do not reflect actual time durations (like 23.976 fps). This would be useful (as a guide only) for professionals, but also for those many users who are less constrained by professional workflows and just want to know the actual duration of the sequence they are working on. R.
i really request you to add auto silence remove feature in premier pro in built instead of going to audition or any third party apps that is really a hectic process of going to other apps and removeing silence and bringing back to premiere pro and edit further this takes a lot of time so i request adobe to add this feature for premiere pro
Does anyone else have the issue where they go to click the specific time in the timeline to move the playhead/cursor but accidentally clicks the sequence in the sequence bar? I find the area between the timeline / timecodes and the sequence bar to be very small 😕😕
I animate explainer videos for a living and Première Pro is my favorite program to do this in. The write-on tool is one of my most used tools when it comes to whiteboard style videos. Right now it's only possible to trace with a round vector, I would love it if there was an option to chose a square vector as well. In these pictures I want to let the arrow appear using the write-on tool with the Reveal On Original setting. If there was a square option it would be able to follow the arrow much more accurately. Of course there are more ways to achieve this but I thought a square option for the write-on tool would be a nice and easy to use addition. 🙂
It would greatly enhance the usability and efficiency of Premiere (and After Effects) if there was a built-in text panel that allowed for seamless cutting and pasting. Currently, when I receive graphics requests from clients, I have to request them to provide correct spelling, punctuation, and other details, which I then manually copy and paste into the graphic design to prevent any errors. However, the current workflow requires me to open a separate text document outside of Premiere (and After Effects), copy the text, and then switch back to the Premiere window to paste it. Similarly, when I need to follow client scripts and edit notes, having this integrated text panel would be incredibly valuable.
I use "Hold" keyframes way more than any other type. I would love to have a preference where the user can choose the default type for each new keyframe they create. No change to keyframe properties or behaviors requested. Thanks,- DK
We have been using the transcript generator since it was made available in Premiere a while back. However, we are starting to notice some of our third-party players are generating captions more accurately than Premiere is. The AI that Adobe has is incredible and the convenience and luxury of having the captions generator in Premiere is a huge asset to our company, which ultimately saves us money in the end (without having to spend a fortune on another company to transcribe and caption for us). We are very grateful for this feature. We were wondering if anything is being done, or maybe a setting could be changed in order to help us with more accurate transcripts going forward. Especially those of our speakers that have heavier accents. That is where more of our challenges lie. Is anyone else seeing some of these challenges and what are you doing to work around them, efficiently? Appreciate the feedback and discussion!
Idea is simple enough: In the timeline it would be great to have the ability (like clip names) to toggle on/off the visual of the volume db on the clip. Similar to how avid media composer has it. Currently, I believe the only way to tell would be to either hover over the volume line, or select the clip and view the effects controls tab. It would be nice to see by just looking at the timeline what the volumes are on my music edits when I'm editing trailers.
It would be great to have the Align and Transforms tools also in the Effect Contorls. It's time consuming to togggle between the Essential Graphis and Effects Controls when creating text/graphics
I would love to be able to create a submix from specific audio clips regardless of which tracks they are on, instead of from whole tracks. Simply add an output assign feature on each audio clip that would allow the user to send the audio clip to the main mix or one of the submixes. It would cut way down on my projects' vertical timeline growth and allow me to keep more efficient track management. Thx,- DK
Did I post this in Bugs too it kinda is that too, but seriously Adobe? So many years and the industry standard still doesn't have a dark mode for the menu bar and selections in PrPro? Every free program has it and I was surprised at how much I had to scour the internet before asking a support agent and realizing it's literally not possible in 2023. This literally sounds like Apple not having USB-C or AOD. I don't mean to sound frustrated but for someone who has systemwide dark mode turned on for years, this is pretty disheartening.

Since version 1.8, Final Cut Pro has changed from exporting .xml files that used to be capable of being imported into Premiere Pro CC to what is now .fcpxml that Premiere Pro CC CAN NOT import. This makes Premieres ability to import Final Cut Pro timelines outdated and useless by at least 2 versions of Final Cut Pro (1.9 and 1.10).This makes collaboration between creators and/or businesses who use the newer versions of Final Cut Pro impossible without the use of a seperate, $50 application called XtoCC that CLAIMS to convert .fcpxml files but I have no proof of this.Seeing as how Premiere used to import .xml files, it only makes sense to me for Adobe to revisit the development of Premiere Pro CC 2023 and incorporate the ability to ALSO include importing of .fcpxml.Again, not to replace the importing of .xml files as we do not want to lose the ability to open older .xml timelines, BUT TO ADD .fcpxml as a supported format that can be imported into a premiere project.
Is there any plan to make Premiere fully featured on the iPad? Resolve has the full desktop experience in the iPad and now Final Cut also has their app out but Adobe users still stuck with the basic Rush that has no scopes, no colour grading options and a magnetic timeline you can't even leave gaps in.
I am writing to request the addition of Greek language support in the Speech-to-Text feature of Adobe Premiere Pro. As a user who primarily works with Greek and Cypriot content, I believe it would greatly benefit the community if we had the ability to accurately transcribe and subtitle our videos in our native language. While I understand that Greek and Cypriot may be considered a minority language in the global context, it is important to note that there is a substantial community of Greek-speaking users who rely on Adobe Premiere Pro for their video editing needs. By including Greek language support, Adobe Premiere Pro can cater to the diverse needs of its user base and provide a more inclusive experience for all.Greek-speaking content creators, educators, and businesses around the world would greatly benefit from the ability to generate accurate and automated transcriptions in Greek. This feature would not only enhance their workflow efficiency but also improve accessibility and reac
I love the essential sound panel IDEA. But why there are features "outside" adobe that can't be fully accessed without adobe stock? I know there's a partnership between them but can't you guys make something for the people who doesnt have adobe stock but still want to save time while browsing music on epidemic sound? It would really help me and a couple of editor friends of mine
Hi, Its been 14 years I am using Adobe Premiere Pro.I found there is a playback lag while using dual screen for editing . I found its because of the Audio Track Mixer sound fader animations. When i switch it back to effects or project window, the play back is fine (Graphics performance)I really dont know if its happening in my computer or just with the software .
