hey folks! simple idea, id love to have color labels appear on bins in the project windows, they do appear in "LIST" view and "FREEFORM" view but NOT in "ICON" view, which is personnally the one i usually use. yeah thats it.. THX!
I was wondering if Adobe could update the Spell check. I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for my video editing, and I have an idea for improvement when working with spell check of captions. There's no check spelling and grammar all at once dialogue box when working with captions in Adobe Premiere Pro. I was hoping someone in Adobe could help me reach out to developers and ask them to make an update that would include this feature. I would really appreciate your support with this. Thank you!
Timecode is a useful bot totallu not a verstile tool. We need it to have more capabilities!Like:-changing fonts and sizes-changing time increments (like 80 seconds, 128 minutes, minutes and seconds only without using the crop effect for it)- setting the starting time- choosing from direct and reverse time counting- adding an option to count down time with gaps (like every 2 seconds, every five seconds)Please make Premiere pro great again!Additions welcomed.
So I worked with multicam sequences alot, and one workflow thing that would be super helpful is that the keyboard modifier to double click and open nested sequences and multicam sequences in your timeline shoud be the same keyboard modifier key! I use a lot of nested sequences inside of multicam clips, and I hate having to change my keyboard modifer dependant on what type of clip it is when I want to dive into a multicam sequence to a nested sequence to make changes to the base level clip. Right now, (at least on windows) to open a multicam sequence with your mouse in the timeline - This is done by holding control, and double clicking on a multicam clip. But for a nested sequence, you have to hold the Option key and double click on it. I don't care which direction the change happens, but there should only be one keyboard modifer that you hold and double click to open any type of sequence in your timeline. I hate having to think about this every time it doesnt work the wa
I have edited a movie, and created each scene as a sequence. Approx 50 sequences in total. Then I have made a "master" sequence, and put all the sequences in it. In the master sequence they appear with green color code (nested clip). If I double click on a nested clip it opens up the original sequence. If I do changes to the content, but not the duration, everything works/updates fine. I can edit the individual sequences, and the master sequence gets updated. However, if I make the duration to be longer, I don't see the change in the master sequences. I then have to move the next clips in the master sequences, expand the clip I know I have made longer, and then move the following clips back again. Is this the normal functionality? If I make the duration shorter (see screenshot), then I will see a light green color coded warning at the end of the nested clip in the master sequence. When making it longer, I can see no warning. This makes it difficult to do editing without makin
Feature Request: Restore "Capture" to native Apple Silicon code version of Premiere 2023 . Videotape capture in Premiere is a very important function for our work.I would like to see Capture for video tape in the Apple Silicon version of Premiere 2023 so that we don't have to use Rosetta.Continuing capture support through third party video capture devices like Ultrastudio 4K Mini is also critical. Version: Adobe Premiere 2023 23.5 Platform: OSX Ventura 13.4, M2 Macmini Pro 32 GB Ram, Ultrastudio 4K Mini,
A set of anamorphic lenses I use create an inverse barrel distortion that is easy to remedy with the Warp effect in After Effects ("bulge" setting). But, in Premiere there is no such feature. The Lens Distortion warps on both the X & Y axis creating a severely distorted image which requires zooming in and losing much of the vertical image on the top & bottom. Would love to have the "bulge warp" feature, or allow Lens Distortiont o operate on X or Y axis individually, to allow simple corrections like this in Premiere instead of having to go into After Effects to fix this issue. The only 3rd Party plugin I've found that addresses this is BCC Warp but that costs almost $300 which is a bit much since I'm only looking for this one solution, not the entire Boris Continuum package.
If I have a master sequence with many nested clips, I get a color code warning on the nested clip if I edit it to shorter duration (see screenshot). If I instead increase the duration of the clip, no warning is showed. This makes it impossible to discover which of the X number of nested clips have been edited to have longer duration. To bee sure I have the full duration of all nested clips in my master sequence I either have to delete them and place them again, or manually try to strech each individually nested clip.
Would it be possible to have a plugin or feature where we can select a word or group of words of a caption and change its colour with a keyboard shortcut. for example we have shortcuts 1, 2 and 3 and each number is set to a different colour. It would half my editing time especially for short form content. I know you can do this with Auto Hotkey on windows but there isn't an alternate option for mac and I don't know how to code a programme to run that.
Would save time having to manually click through panels to find the one I'm looking for.
Feature Request: Right-Click to Modify Footage in TimelineDescriptionAs a video editor, I often find myself needing to modify footage in the timeline, especially when I need to turn a clip into slow motion. Currently, the only way to modify footage is to go to the Project panel, which can be time-consuming and disrupts the editing flow. Therefore, I would like to suggest a new feature that allows users to right-click on a clip in the timeline and select "modify footage" to change the frame rate or interpret footage. This new feature would help speed up the editing process and improve the user experience.BenefitsSaves time by allowing users to modify footage directly in the timelineImproves the editing flow and user experienceMakes it easier to turn clips into slow motion or adjust the frame rateIncreases productivity and efficiencyHow it WorksRight-click on a clip in the timelineSelect "modify footage" from the list of optionsChange the frame rate or interpret footage in the Modify Cli
Just did a lot of searching and was surprised I couldn't find a answer as to how to view the used portions of a clip in the source monitor. FCPX underlines sections of a clip that have been used in the timeline. Looking for that functionality. Showing ALL used ranges is the critical part, eg; have an interview & want to see which alternate takes were used. Thanks!
The text based editing feature released in version 23.4 is fantastic! However, I'd love to see some better implementation of bulk edits such as "Cut Speaker 1, or 2, etc" -- This would be great for interviews where we just want to cut out the interviewer's questions and leave only the subject in the timeline. In the same way, I'd love to see "Cut all pauses". Or "Cut Ands and Ums"-- Maybe even "Cut Pause longer than X seconds" Or "Cut Isolated Ands and Ums" So it wouldn't cut the ones mid-sentence. If I could remove the interviewer and all unneccesary pauses, half of my workflow would already be complete in two clicks. I would have assumed this would be available, as many have already mentioned it during the Beta. Please upvote to get this to the top! Thanks!
Love the new metadata effect! Really helpful for me as a full-time AE. However, I'm having to resort to the old clip name effect rather often simply because I don't have an option to change the justification of the text in the new effect. The reason this is so important is that if I have a clip name overlay in the top right it could cut off the end of the text if it comes across a really long clip name. Plus it just looks bad to have left-justified text on the right side of the screen. It would be great to also have the ability to show the sequence name on there somewhere as well so I don't have to change that manually. Thanks all! Thank you devs for adding this feature and I look forward to seeing it iterate improve!
I am using some UAD plugins in Premiere Pro. LA-2A and 1176 for dialog leveling. Not editing in Audition, just in the track mixer in Premiere. UAD DSP is not being released when i delete or bypass plugins. I need to close the project or restart Premiere to release the DSP from my UAD Apollo. Also, all sequences in the project are pulling DSP regardless if they are open or not. So if i create too many subclips with 2 plugins, i will be a DSP overload error. any way to get premiere to release DSP when the effect is bypassed like it does in Logic?
I'd like to see better options for the metadata plugin.- A font picker- Ability to set alignment per line so we can have elements stay centered, left or right aligned from their set positions.- Add option to display the Sequence Name. This is practical if the file name gets lost in translation.
Let's discuss a phenomenon, a familiar sting in the tail of many of our editing sessions.I'm referring to the art of setting an output point at the end of a clip, expertly skipping along with the use of arrows. It's quite routine for us to scroll through our edits, checking every clip, and indeed, that extra frame when navigating clips proves useful for previewing. But here's where the drama unfolds. This method, though handy, can become a thorn in our side when setting an output point. Optimistically, we may assume that using arrows can get us quickly to the end of our edit. But then Adobe, in its infinite wisdom, adds an extra frame for the sake of previewing, and suddenly, we're staring down a black frame. This problem is noticeable when rendering RGB, but it becomes a serious headache when alpha channels come into play. It's not uncommon to find ourselves scrambling back to the editing suite during a broadcast rehearsal because an unexpected black frame has crashed our intro or outro.I
Would be convenient to be able to enter a value when a keyframe is double clicked, even when that keyframe is not at the current time.
Premiere is a pretty amazing program and whenever a workflow seems unduly complicated, there's usually a better way to do it. Now it's possible the following workflow is obvious to many of you, but it wasn't to me as I usually used pluraleyes (which is no longer supported and I can't seem to get it to work anymore). I've been working a great deal recently with multicamera material on a number of projects. Today I was synching a 2 camera shoot with audio also recorded with a zoom digital audio recorder. The 2 cameras started and stopped a couple of times while the zoom recorded continuously. I selected all the camera clips and the zoom audio in the project panel and control clicked and chose "create multi camera source sequence" and used the audio to synch. I then double clicked the new multicam clip to load it in the source monitor, and then control clicked on it in the program panel and chose "open in timeline." I parked bot
Please restore videotape Capture function for Adobe Premiere 2023 Silicon version. We know the capture mode is available when opening Premiere in Rosetta Intel mode but we need to utilise Silicon version.Videotape capture is a critical feature for our archival work.
Hello, I often work on multicam projects, with quite a few cameras (sometimes up to 32 cameras), which is challenging for computer, even when proxies are made. For example, a project with 16 cameras in multicam edit, these are grid sources 4x4 and a preview next to it. Thinking logically...the computer uses resources to play 16 sources and scale all 16 to a smaller size and separately play one of them in "full quality" preview. My idea is, when we switch to multicam to have option like " render and replace" this 4x4 cameras source . The benefits are: 1. Save Time: Instead of waisting time for creating 16 proxy files, we will render, only 1 "multicam render and replaced source". 2. Easy working on computer: Instead of playing 16 sources+1 preview, computer will play this 1 "multicam render and replaced source" + 1 selected camera will be played. When I start to work on project I know for sure how many camera I want to view in multicam. 2x2, 3x3,
El cambio en las ventanas para importar y exportar de las ultimas versiones son tan malas que me dan ganas de pasarme a otra app.
It should be a very simple solution . just give us option to play multiple video tracks simultaniously. Editing multi camera sequence in premier pro sucks. It is very complicated and very few controls and lot of issues.I just need simple multi-camera tracks playback.Any solution ?
As shown in my screenshot below, when opening up a layer the clips in that layer have the opacity keyframes ready to go and be keyframed (yay?). However, I personally find this completely useless, as I prefer to use other methods to change opacity 95% of the time. As I edit a lot of sports, I often have 200+ clips from a game that I need to time remap most of them, and I have to keyframe opacity on none of them. You can imagine how this is a nightmare, as I have to individually go through on every single clip and right click it to change the keyframing to time remapping. My feature request is simple: in the timeline preferences inside premiere, just give us an option to change the default keyframes such as motion, opacity, or time remapping, or just the same make it so we can highlight multiple clips in our timeline and still be able to Rick Click > change keyframing options > time remapping, because currently that option is not there if you select more than one clip at a
Hi Adobe,Recently I've been using third party tools such as timebolt/Recut to create rough cuts, now that the text-based editing is in-built in Premiere, it still lacks some key features that could make the huge difference such as identity and remove all the pauses in one click. Also having the option to choose the threshold and padding for silences manually would be a great addition as well, gives us that much more freedom. Hope that you guys consider this. Thanks 🙂
