Not sure if this is a bug or a long-term feature request - admins feel free to place this in the appropriate category My Rig:Premiere Pro 25.5.0 Build 13Mac Studio M2 Ultra64GB Ram  1TB internal storage My goal:  I like to use 4k multicam source sequences in my 1080p timelines, as it allows me to dynamcially zoom/pan the cameras for added effect when appropriate.  In multicam preview mode, I would like the preview monitors to respect the resolution and scaling of the timeline being edited.    it seems that the preview monitors honor the scaling of the source multicam sequence regardless of how it is scaled in the main timeline.    If my 4k footage is scaled to 50% on a 1080p timeline, the preview monitors should reflect that for all camera angles.  (see attached screenshot)            Weirdly enough, the main monitor in multicam preview seems to "snap" to the resolution once playbac

Request Summary: Add an option to define the amount of time left between sentences when deleting pauses via the transcript pauses filter.Details: Currently, when deleting pauses using the Text-Based Editing tool, Premiere Pro removes silence entirely and ripples the timeline, leaving no gap between sentences. Most of the time when you're having some tech issue, the first thing out of an Adobe Tech Support person's mouth is - "let's reset all your preferences and settings".   But there seems little recognition that our prefs and settings are completely essential to our work, and there are SO MANY files and various settings that a factory reset of Premiere is typically worse for us than the problem we've called/emailed in for.   The number of times I've simply given up on a tech support call becasue I simply can't contemplate the reset is....MANY.Is there a way to save EVERY setting and preference somewhere before blasting everything back to factory state?   And then a way to bring all of those back once the tech has discovered (as is typical) that, no, that wasn't the issue?  Part of this issue is also the multiplicity of locations the settings and prefs are stored in.  If there was ONE file or folder, it would make it all so much easier.I consider this an absol

If Blue mask lines are  hard to see at times,  as when video behind blends with the blue mask lines ; if there were a simple way to adjust the visibilty of the blue lines could allow for faster easier workflow when reducing strain of seeking the next point on the mask to adjust.  If there were an option to make the blue mask line & anchor point's brightness, hue or saturation would when necessary improve visibility of the mask lines - thus faster work flow. Bright Yellow as a color option for maks lines and points would be a useful option when background video is a heavy blue hue, swiotching to yellow the mask lines would nicely pop

Hello my lovely adobe community!1) In Avid MC we can toggle individualy evey source audio tracks (select or diselect) with the shortcuts and it is very helpfull when we use a multiple audio tracks.In Adobe we can only switch OFF or switch ON all tracks. For Individual selection we should use mouse. Can your engineers solve this problem?2) And from our friends from audio department , they names every channel for us, in Avid MC and DaVinci Resolve we can see in Source Monitor(and probably in timeline they named channels), in Adobe we use only Metadata panel and they cant see names though Mcam(avid can and DaVinci Resolve). 3) And my Final pain (file duration). We can see it in "Info panel"(not comfortable) or when we select file in TL with the mouse(not confortable), BUT not in the TIMECODE panel. I thing, TIMECODE panel should be for any TIMECODE, and for duration. Probably you will add Duration in TIMECODE panel?    

I'd love this to be an option! I am, once again, trying out different music clips against an interview, and want to apply my ducking keyframes to the TRACK and not the CLIP. That way, I could easily delete the music clip from the track, drop a new one on there, and it would be ducked in all the right places. PPro does not need to know or care what clip I have on my music track - it just does the ducking at the TRACK level, regardless of what music is on the track. The ducking keyframes that PPro creates are in no way related to what's on the music track - they depend solely on the presence of dialogue and the settings in the Ducking panel. Talking of those controls - the "Sensitivity" is the wrong way round - setting it to High creates fewer keyframes, and setting it to "Low" creates a keyframe for even the briefest pause in the dialogue. It would be wonderful if we had two "Generate Keyframes" buttons: one that says "Generate Clip Keyframes" and one that says "Generate

Dear Adobe,Please explain why in the year 2025, after multiple AI updates and workflow "improvements," I still can't apply silence detection only between In and Out points on a timeline?The current limitations:Silence detection runs on the entire sequence, ignoring In/Out.No way to apply cleanup just to a selected range or lassoed clips.No distinction between awkward pauses and intentional beats unless we cut, nest, or play XML games.Real-world use case:I'm editing a long interview with an ESL speaker.They pause mid-sentence, stutter, drop filler words — but sometimes take intentional dramatic pauses for emphasis or topic shifts.I don’t want to kill all pauses. While checking the "Transcript view options" under "Transcript" with "settings search" I noticed I can't make the "minimum pause length." any shorter than 0.10 seconds.This is waaaaaaaay to long. A lot of talking for online content needs to be snappy and fast, pauses between sentences should be instant. There are even videos who use overlaping dialog to keep the words flowing.The transcript is working amazingly other than I can't make the pauses shorter.Is there a setting to bypass the minimum pause length?

If I want to send multiple sequences to the media encoder at, for example, half-resolution there is currently no way to do this. This becomes a bottleneck in particular when I have a number of sequences at different aspect ratios, and there should be a simple way to apply this 50% downscale to all of them, but instead I need to go through them one by one, or send to media encoder in batches. This extra time and effort really adds up for complex deliverables.

Please bring back the different colors for FX badges, Have it just go from white to grey doesn't tell me at a quick glance what kind of FX are applied. If we could even just have the FX text change color if design doesn't want the box, that is fine too.  

Premiere Pro currently displays both Left and Right channels for stereo audio clips in the timeline waveform view. I know there is spell check inside of the text panel, but I wonder if it would be possible to use a service like twelve labs to OCR a full video to spell check everything, even text that is embedded. 

I've been playing with CapCut, and I'm extremely confused about how an app can be so powerful. The face retouching, makeup controls, effects, transitions, and more surpass anything I can do with Premiere Pro. I feel like CapCut is the biggest threat to Premiere Pro—I just don't understand how a company as big as Adobe, with its expensive subscription model, can be so far behind. I should be able to open Premiere and find a face retouching tool as easy to use as the one in CapCut. I truly don’t understand how such a young app can be so much more advanced than an industry veteran.

I have a Project with over 100 sequences that was pulled together from multiple projects over time. It is what it is. I am consolidating it using the Project Manager, but there is no search functionality in this interface which makes it very difficult to use. This would be a great improvement to add the ability to search and/or filter sequences here. Seems like a pretty basic feature to add. 

The idea is holding space would temporarily switch you to the hand tool and allow scrolling the timeline, and then return to the previously active tool when space is released. This would help my workflow increase in speed a lot, as I work primarily with a Wacom so reducing the time I need to spend switching tools would be a big time saver. For example, while cutting voiceover it would be one keypress to reposition the timeline, as opposed to switch to hand tool, scroll, switch back to razor etc. This adds up quickly to a lot of additional keypresses and also takes me out of the flow for timing things out. Holding space to move timeline is also the behaviour I'm used to from After Effects, where I spend a lot of my time. An alternative would be to add momentary press functionality to the H key instead, as per this post https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/give-momentary-keypress-functionality-to-hand-and-zoom-tools/idi-p/13515878 but I think using s

Can we please make a selection tool version of the "Select Forward/Backwards" but it selects everything Up or Down or Up & Down from the cursor. I've tried to see if that's available and haven't been able to find it and it would be so useful.  I don't want to have to link or group everything.  I don't want to have to mark in and out and do it that way cause it's too time consuming. Tired of having to drag up or down and make sure I didn't miss anything when I want to delete a segment. And when I do drag often times it will deselect stuff at the top or bottom when I drag past the window. (If that makes sense).  Can you at least make it so it doesn't deselect stuff that I've already selected just because it's no longer visible in the window.  

 i like to see arabic langauge embraced by adobe . like speach to text and other means , i spend alot of time using ohter sides to do so . theres nearly i billion people speaking arabic and feel its fair to consdered . thanks

I am now paying another company $20 a month for access to AI editing features.I take 1-2 hour videos and break them down into Reels.  I am using Opus Clip to generate 50 clips (based on subject matter, algorithms, etc). But what bothers me even more is that Opus Clip, TikTok, and Instagram all have Animated Captions that blow away anything you can do in Premiere. I would love for Premiere to have animated clip generation. I may have to leave Adobe (even though I like Premiere) because it's not the best product anymore. Competitors are using AI that kicks its butt.  

CC2017 - Win 10How does one save a Preset eg Multi Band Compressor...from the Audio Track Mixer?

Hello everyone! I have been working in Premiere for decades. And I suggest that we come up with something with the design of the program. After version CS6, there was a lot of extra space that is not used in any way.For example, look at how it was in CS6 and how it is used now  Let's say if I don't use a microphone and I need to remove the icon, I can't do it, even in manual mode.If I remove the unused space that I marked with red frames, working with the timeline will become even better and more comfortable.💡And another wish. I remember in CS6, when there were a lot of video clips on the timeline, previews were displayed on all videos and you could see which clip was better to move to a particular part of the timeline,but in new versions (for a long time now) this option has disappeared and previews are no longer displayed when the timeline size is reduced. This does not affect the computer's memory. In CS6 I used an older computer than now. 

In my workflow recording music (and I suspect for others as well), I record sessions and livestreams as one continuous recording to allow for getting into the flow without constant starting and stopping the recording. It could be a few takes or even dozens but the result of this is almost always that the better takes are toward the end of the resulting clip, not the beginning When I pull the file into Premiere, it has to generate the waveform, but I have to wait for all of the earlier takes in the clips to be processed to see the waveform for what I'm interested in--If I have a 2-3 hour session, this can easily take 5-10 minutes. I would love to have the option to let the waveform get rendered from end to beginning so I can more quickly view to the most recent part of the recording. 

When adjusting audio keyframes on the timeline, I'm often moving quite quickly but generally have a good idea of how much I want to adjust a particular point, at current in v25.5 when you grab a keyframe and adjust it up or down the only information it provides is the new value state that would be set once letting go.I think it would be quite useful to also show the offset value from the initial starting point (unless perhaps the initial value is 0db). So for example if the starting value is -7.3db and I drag it up to the -3db position it could show `-3db (+4.3db)` in the tooltip instead of just `-3db` this would update dynamically alongside the current tooltip as you adjust the keyframe. This would make the keyframing workflow a lot smoother as I often know roughly how many db I want to adjust a keyframe by but I'm often working so fast that I don't quite catch the initial value.

It would be great to be able to change the speed of a clip and then, apply a warp stabilizer effect on that same clip without having to nest the clip to make both effects work together.Also, being able to put a warp stabilizer effect on a clip even if that clip is not at the same resolution as the sequence settings.
