Why can't we copy and paste the transcript from PP into word or Apple Notes? It really is a very stupid bug. Sure i can export the whole thing into a text file and then flick between that and premiere and whatever document i'm working on, but that is a really bloody slow way of working. Why is this so complex? It seems so completely obvious.
Hi, community. Premiere Pro has some default use of mouse buttons like the right mouse button context menu or the middle mouse button for dragging the frame in the program monitor, but no other mouse buttons are in use. Furthermore you cannot assign a mouse button to any shortcut in the shortcuts menu in Premiere Pro - it's for the keyboard only. I know I can use Excalibur and a mouse proper software to make macroses, as well as use some exotic workarounds like game controller emulators and assign shortcut combinations to any mouse button in it. But these all are awkward workarounds. So I request a feature to be able to assign shortcuts to the additional mouse buttons. It's time to put to use additional mouse buttons since now people rarely use mice with only 3 default buttons.
It would be great if we also got Croatian language in the transcript and I believe that a lot of people would switch from some random applications that have that option to Premier Pro!Do you have any information about this upcoming opportunity? People, vote, so that adobe allows us to do that *_*
I wish there was this feature! Would be easier/faster to manage all the files for a selected PR project in order to deliver it to a client or a colleague. For example, when I want to send the project to a colleague, I don't need to include the RAW footage, because they already have it on their side. It would take less time to copy files in a "deliverable" folder without unused/useless files, and having to delete them in the folder after this time wasted. As detailed in this thread : https://www.reddit.com/r/premiere/comments/17gjxee/can_i_project_manager_package_without_the_raw/ Thanks PR team!
The way I work is that I have a media drive connected to my macstudio. Each job (theoretically) has it's own media drive which my client pays for... All my media, previews, autosaves, proxies etc. live on this external drive. I often visit a client with my external drive and work with them on their system (love how easy it is to temporarily authorize my license on my clients computer to work at their office). Now, unless I missing something, after I create a new project I have to go to project settings to set the various scratch disks... Not a big deal, but would make my life easier if I could set this in the new project window... Every once in a while, I forget to set the scratch disks, so the folders are created in the folder where all my premiere projects live (in a folder on my startup drive that's automatically mirrored on dropbox). If I'm not paying attention these files can jam up my startup drive (not a pretty picture
Hi, using the crop effect can be time consuming. If there were a MIRROR CROPPING feature (just a check box) to the crop effect, it would be twice as fast for images that need to be cropped evenly on each side. Now wouldn't that be great!? If it already exists, I'd be glad to know. Cheers!
Good day Adobe, I would like to see Premiere Pro (in Microsoft Windows) to have the ability to activate the faster processor cores on Intel's CPU, as well as any capability Nivida cards can provide. For some reason, we have a standard size length of about 1.5 hours taking 3 to 4 times longer to process, so I can only guess it got stuck on the slower "efficient" multi-core on Intel's CPU. This thing should be activating turbo mode and just get the job done! Thank you for any help you can provide.
HiPremiere pro is proffesional program and please add MKV format .mkv becouse dont support and this is big problem need convert to mp4 or other format and this lost hours and lost time please add this format and also add in media encoder i have newset programs
In the Premiere Pro 2025 version, Align and Transform Linked Style Pin to These options have been moved to the Appearance settings, making it quite inconvenient. When there are many shadows or strokes set for text, you need to scroll through a long page just to adjust positioning or apply character styles to different text within the same graphic. Furthermore, the current version cannot select all of the graphical text together in order to uniformly adjust their text positions (text position, not vector position). Can you provide an option to revert the settings and add functionality for moving the style (such as multiple strokes) up or down? Moreover, why does the position of a text that has been set change when switching to different character styles? (Not referring to text alignment but rather an upward or downward movement to a different location) For example, a text placed at the bottom of a video will move to the center if a style created and saved in the middle of the screen is ap
Adobe please add tracking option (i.e AI point tracking ,3D camera tracking or planner tracking) in premiere pro and also ability to use premiere pro in maximize window and also please please please please improve performance or make premiere pro more GPU intensive please it's a request
When cutting up widescreen clips which are larger than the cropped in vertical video sequence settings, is there a way to turn on a “show what’s outside of the frame” type of view, so that I can be working in that sequence, and have the project monitor show me however much of any given clip in the timeline exists outside of the frame? These days so many of us are forced to crop into widescreen video to cut for social media short form, so I figure that there has gotta be a way to streamline the workflow in this way. I'm so tired of all of the extra clicks to view every clip in the source monitor to see if theres anything thats outside of the program monitor view that i might want to reposition for. It makes everything take a lot longer and frankly my resulting work is inferior due to getting so bogged down during editing. The process would be so much more streamlined if i could just always see whats outside of the frame. I just need some margins to show me the current sequence vertical
Hello,For some time I have been looking for a way to better manage my file manager more efficiently and easily without going through "dark" paths but directly on the "Project: ...." tab...Basically I would like to:Automatically synchronize bins with folders: If you organize your files in folders on your computer, be able to automatically create the corresponding bins in Premiere Pro (or After Effects) and import the files there. Any changes made to the folders (adding, deleting, renaming) will be reflected in Premiere Pro.(Allow to automatically synchronize folders and bins of already existing projects would be really perfect). Label imported elements: Allows adding labels to imported elements for better organization. There you go, I think that if these small changes could be incorporated into Premiere Pro and After Effects directly by Adobe and that this tool is well worked it could allow us all to be faster in our work.
Premiere Pro has some areas where it feels a bit clunky. For example, when I lower the audio using keyframes, I want to reduce it to the absolute lowest possible level, or ideally, silence. The natural behavior should place the audio line at the very bottom of the track, presumably at the track's visual bottom edge. However, the issue is that there appears to be additional space below the audio line (see inset photo).
Close gap is a great feature but I cannot think of sutiations I'll use it in practice because it only works when there are straight through vertical gaps which at least in my workflow happens like never...What I suggest is to make Premiere Pro close gaps on individual tracks. For example, if you select a part of a track or a group of tracks:- thus it may work like ripple deleting the gaps but only within the selection:Or just add an ability for the Close gap to work on a track if all the other tracks are blocked (see the video below):
For years in Photoshop; you select your text - which covers it in a semi-grey banner, but when you open your colour picker, the banner vanishes and you get to see your chosen colour applied to the font *without* having to de-select it to see how it suits it's surroundings. Can we please have this basic functionality in Premerie? I know we can change the color from the 'Effect Controls' panel without drag-selecting the text, but that's only after typing and is a blanket colour switch for all text in the box.
in a recent version or so, I noticed you added "crop" to the "effect Controls" tab of a clip (so we wouldnt have to add crop ourselves). however i find it strange that it doesnt have the "Edge feather" option that comes with the normal crop found in the "effects -> video effects -> transform -> crop". Leaving out the 'edge feather' parameter, was that intentional or is that a bug?
Please add the option to mute the track and toggle sync lock when the track is locked. I often use these features and have to unlock the track multiple times.Fun fact: if the track is locked and I press mute track or toggle sync lock with Shift, it affects the locked tracks, even though logically it shouldn't.
Next to adding monitor zoom to the middle mouse button, one of the most annoying things Adobe has ever done is the Discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced files ( not holding shift when proportionally enlarging in Photoshop unlike literarally every other Adobe app is a close 3rd.) But unlike the others complaints, the Discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced Files cost me $100 when a Premiere project file was deleted by acccident and I didn't have a backup and had to buy some disk file retrieval app to recover it. I knew it would happen. Trying to remember to copy my projects over to Dropbox was bound to fail eventually. Is this really that expensive for you Adobe? Seriously. This is ridiculous. I can't think of anything anymore that doesn't have some kind of cloud backup service now. And when there are so many viable, cheaper and even free alternatives from the competition you decide to remove this feature? But if Cloud Sync is too hard for you at least give us the abililty
I know you can copy a nest in a project bin and it becomes a "new" nest, but this doesn't copy all effects and position applied to it.It would be nice to have a way to choose whether you are copying or creating a new nest when you drag and copy in the timeline.Maybe the ability to change the default behaviour OR a dialogue box that asks COPY or CREATE NEW Nest
Instead of wasting all the space below; why not allow sizeable audio tracks so I can actually see the change in song type and not have to guess? The ending song clip has a crescendo a few frames into the intro song, this is frustrating because I have no idea where it is in my timeline as my transition blocks the visual, and the introducing song is directly after. I want to transition, but am not able to make it clean.Being able to view the exact waveform in a window that has been taken over by this EXACT thing I am doing, would be wonderful.
Good evening I am passionate about video editing from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia And I have an idea to develop a video editing program, which is: Create a tool that cuts the first three seconds and the last three seconds of a large group of videos at the same time without affecting the time duration of each video, only seconds are subtracted from the beginning and the end, for example, a video of one minute and 60 seconds, we cut the first three seconds and the last three seconds to make it only 54 seconds long, and so on, in order to help many people passionate about editing and cinematographers. I hope to see this possible Thank you, my dear development team Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
I suppose that if we can already use neural networks to create videos, then it won't be difficult to simply add the function of dubbing the audio track into other languages. Considering that we already have a translation of subtitles, we could probably make the necessary changes to them and press something like the "Dubbing" button, getting an audio track in which all participants would be able to pronounce the text from the subtitles with their own voices. This feature has been available for quite some time both as part of subscriptions to paid services and in free tools on GitHub. It's probably time to implement it in our multifunctional video creation tool. It should be added that there is also technology for synchronizing audio with the speaker's lips. However, this may complicate the task and require more processing time. Probably, this function could be added in updates as one of the settings that can be turned on or left off, focusing only on subtitles.
This would litteraly change my life and save me thousands of editing hours. My little boy and I have a video blog channel and a gaming channel on YouTube. We are way to active and spontanious for lavalier mic use (trust me we've tried)I am big, loud and rite behind the camera; he is little, quiet and further or far away from the camera.I have spent thousands of hours, and still have thosands of hours more editing to do, all sound related editing.I have to splice every single clip, tens of thosands of clips, countless times to turn every thing he says up to level +15, and turn me down to -12/-15 I would absoltley love it if P.P. could recognize his voice, my voice; then work ahead of me turning him up to +15, and turning myself and anyone else in the background down to -12/-15 Then all I would have to do is the video editing which only takes a few minutes thanks to the gpu accelerator we have now adays, and I could crank videos out left and rite
Rather than have to remember where the .kys files are stored - could we have a 'reveal preset location in finder' shortcut? Or even an 'import .kys file' option? Thanks
Previous to 2024.6.1, I could target a timeline track to indicate which track I would like a piece of media copied from a different timeline posted to. Currently the media is posted to whichever track it was on in the original timeline. As someone whose job it is to organize timelines, this is extremely frustrating. Even if I lock all the layers except for the layer I wish to copy to, the clip appears on a new layer above all the other ones, if the layer I indicate is "lower" than its original position in the first timeline. It adds another step to my process which, as I am sure NLE folks will agree, is a bad thing. I am sure there are cases/workflows where this new feature is helpful, but I have yet to run into one of them. This and the removal of fx badge colors are the main issues my coworkers and I have wth this new version.
