Hello, Premiere Pro enables comprehensive array of video effects. As such, the UI could prompt the user about applying overly flashing or flaring automations in the sequence, that might be a photokinetic concern for the viewers of the movie. Thanks.
Problem: There is no way to transcribe a specific clip in a sequence, and select one block of transcript to create captions from that specific block of text. I have created a vertical cut down of 46 seconds, from a video of 26 minutes. I want to create captions for JUST that 46 second cut down. I do not want 26 minutes of Premiere trying to spell words it can't understand. I don't want to fix 26 minutes of Premiere being useless, I want to repair 46 seconds and even that is annoying.Workflow Streamlining: The CC button creates an entire sequence of captions, ignoring the in/out points set by the user. I have a 10-minute video, I only want captions for a specific 15 second clip as the wind is too disruptive for accurate captions in software. There is no way to isolate that 15 second clip to be transcribed and captioned. I must suffer with transcribing the entire sequence of windy, jarbled audio that is more often than not incorrect, and mislabelled by Premiere. Steps:1. Create in-o
Dear Adobe Premiere Pro Team, I’d like to suggest an enhancement to streamline the trimming process. Currently, trimming multiple clips to the playhead requires several steps. It would be highly efficient to have a shortcut that instantly trims selected clips to the playhead position with one click. This could function as a “Trim to Playhead” shortcut, cutting all selected clips on the right or left of the playhead in a single action. This tool would save time in complex edits, making workflow more intuitive and responsive. Thank you for considering this improvement! Best regards,Prince R. Asamoah
Working in broadcast often means exporting 16 audio channels. Often simmilar to this convention: Channel 1 - Stereo TVIS left Channel 2 - Stereo TVIS right Channel 3 - Stereo English mix left (conforming to EBU-R128) Channel 4 - Stereo English mix right (conforming to EBU-R128) Channel 5 - Stereo dipped M&E left Channel 6 - Stereo dipped M&E right Channel 7 - Mono sync track Channel 8 - Mono English voices (narration, guide VO, comms) Channel 9 - Stereo dipped sync effects left Channel 10 - Stereo dipped sync effects right Channel 11 - Stereo dipped natural effects left Channel 12 - Stereo dipped natural effects right Channel 13 - Stereo dipped spot FX left Channel 14 - Stereo dipped spot FX right Channel 15 - Stereo dipped music left Channel 16 - Stereo dipped music right To be able to deliver like this we create a Audio Track Layout with multiple submixes to accommedate this:In oth

Adobe Premiere Pro 1. Clips Sorting in Bin: The default order for clips in the bin should be by name. Currently, clips are arranged randomly, and reorganizing them by name requires a lengthy process. This should be streamlined with an option to set a default sorting order.2. Auto Silence Removal: While silence removal can be done with plugins, these are often expensive, and since we’re already paying for the software, this feature should be included natively. It would be great to see more advanced options like silence detection based on decibels, the ability to automatically trim audio, or integrate external audio with video clips.3. Auto Cut Issues:• When using Auto Cut on 4K clips, it often cuts an extra frame at the end, showing part of the next clip. This needs to be fixed.• Auto Cut does not work properly when audio is removed or manual cuts are made. It should be able to handle clips regardless of edits.4. Folder Integration: It would be useful to right-click on a folder and
What DOES THIS MEAN?????Why does the Search to attach proxies start searching from the very beginning of the entire file directory IN MY :C DRIVE? Why does it not immediately highlight or visually show/snap to the direct file it has found? I've already done the search for it, it's in :O, in this folder with this date-- why is it diving into my :C drive? I'm IN the folder highlighted to the left.It doesn't tell me what it is, where it found it, any single bit of identifiable information to what I'm attaching my proxy to, where the file is, what it's named, how it found it, where it found it, what is the size, what is the filetype, what the actual hell it's even doing. It just says: Please give us more information. Please utilize some type of genuinely bright and obvious differentiation between menus, highlighted items and views to help us know what is going to happen next. If I'm importing into a current project, where the hell is that imported clip going? There is no identifier.Ple
If there's a a way to convert line text to paragraph text vice-versa
Over the last few years Sony, Blackmagic, RED, GoPro, and DJI have developed cameras that automatically record gyroscopic motion information into the metadata of video files. This allows for FAR more accurate stabilization in post, ensuring you can smooth out the actual camera movements, instead of the movements that the software visually analyzed and predicted. There are two primary softwares that areused to stabilize footage with gyro data:Sony's Catalyst Browse (and by extension the more feature-rich Catalyst Prepare)Gyroflow There are several problems when using either of these solutions. For both, it is awkward and innefficient to do a round-trip just to stabilize footage. On top of this, Sony's own Catalyst softwares have issues. Catalyst Browse (free) has very limited export options, none of which maintain a 10-bit color space (despite one of the formats being labeled as such; the metadata says otherwise). This is obviously an issue. On top of these, even in Catalyst P
This drives me nuts, I shouldn't have to work around it. We pay for this. It ruins any kind of workflow where I need to stay on a specific part of the timeline. When I press pause, the timeline view jumps to where the playhead is in the the timeline. There is no way to turn this off. I do not want it. It's pointless. I lose so much time to this one dumb thing. Fix it, it's easy to fix. People have been complaining for years. There is no good reason why I cannot turn this feature off.
I'm using Premiere Pro 2024 (I haven´t tested 2025 yet) and sometimes I need to make a static transcript of a text, either in english or spanish. When I click the options for the static transcript all languages, even those not installed, appear in alphabetical order. When I need to create a transcript in spanish I'm forced to scroll down the list, with an unnecessary extra click of the mouse. I think the languages installed should appear first, (as they´re the ones I'm prone to use) and only then the languages not installed. It'll save the extra click of the scroll. I really don't need to see the all the chinese install options when I'm usually looking for the spanish option. Thanks!
Feature Request: Ability to Toggle Clip Selection Between Tracks via Keyboard Shortcut in TimelineIn Premiere Pro, when editing overlapping clips across multiple tracks on the same timeline, a keyboard shortcut to switch clip selection between tracks would greatly improve workflow efficiency. This is especially useful when applying effects such as Lumetri Color, where switching clip selection between tracks via keyboard shortcuts without returning to the timeline would make the editing process much smoother. Currently, selection changes require using the cursor, but adding a feature to quickly toggle selection from a clip on Track 1 to a clip on Track 2, or vice versa, using only keyboard shortcuts would be incredibly helpful. This functionality would enable faster and more precise editing, especially in projects with multiple tracks, making the editing process smoother and more efficient.
I've worked almost exclusively on Adobe Premiere since 2012 as it's the standard almost everywhere and in all this time, Premiere has always looked the same. Sure maybe there were a few small changes but nothing nothing so drastic as what I'm experiencing now as I've had to jump from 24.3.0 to 25.0 for work. Visually, It hurts to look at. Darkest is too dark, Dark is too light. Don't even @ me about the Light version. Everything is so vibrant and sharp. The fonts narrower. I cannot use the label colors I've been using for years because it makes the audio display as dark waveform, light background, which is the reason I've stayed at 24.3.0 for months now. And if I want my good ol light on dark I have to use darker shades which are only serving to further hurt my eyes. I am autistic. Not only is the sudden, drastic change - which I had no warning for and almost zero control over - rankling at me, but its visually overstimulating as all
So I'm sure there are a few editors out there who use Premiere Pro and have to face repeated tasks which make workflow inefficient and time consuming. These are tasks a bit beyond the Adobe Keyboard task shortcuts. What am I thinking about? - well within Windows 10/11 there is a Power Automate application that lets you automate certain repetitive tasks within the Windows environment, whether it is Desktop Automation or repetitive Data manipulation/export etc. Within the Adobe Premiere Pro editing environment you could use keyboard Macro recorders but these are limited as you also need Playhead information, Mouse co-ordinates (eg for locating clips) etc So the Idea is to have the ability to create a 'Custom Record function' for your own Macros that you can use on selected clips. In Premiere itself you should be able to know which video tracks are targetted, mouse selecting which clip etc. As an example - A few days ago I posted a thread about trying to reduce Flicker o
I've come to realize how difficult I find it simply scrolling through clips in a bin using my MacBook Pro trackpad.. In thumbnail view, instead of scrolling smoothly down a bin of clips - as happens if I use the scroll bars - using the trackpad the movement is jerky. Visually, I find this disorienting and easily lose my place. This isn't helped by the lack of a clear indicator showing which clip is highlighted, for example:
Why is the Project Manager collect files without respecting the original folder's name and hierarchy!I keep reorganizing them inside folders manually (folders for audio, folders for Broll, ...)I wish for Premiere to collect files inside folders with the same name and hierarchy as it is inside of the project. Thank you in advance!
Hello, greetings,I have an idea that could enhance the editing experience: a playback preview option that closely mimics the YouTube viewer experience. In practice, this would allow editors to go to the preview panel, select "YouTube-Like Preview" (or "YouTube-Like Preview Popout"), and see their video as it would appear on YouTube. The feature could start simple, with basic playback and cosmetic touches like the red progress bar to capture that familiar YouTube look. Even a small resemblance might help users feel more confident about how their video will appear on the platform. The goal is to provide editors with an experience that closely reflects the final YouTube playback, enabling them to make adjustments with greater accuracy and reassurance.P.S. I used ChatGPT for some grammar clean-up to better articulate the idea. I hope this suggestion doesn’t come off as too ambitious—just thought it might be a simple addition with a meaningful impact! (chat-gpt this too) Besets really an
Adobe is one of the most widely used platforms in Turkey, yet it doesn’t seem to value its Turkish users.Premiere Pro doesn’t support Turkish auto-captioning, a feature that CapCut introduced months ago, nor does it offer Turkish support for text-based editing. To quickly edit videos, we’re forced to pay $20 for apps like Firecut AI just to get these features. If this capability isn’t coming anytime soon, please let us know so we can turn to alternative video editing software.Thank you for your attention.
Hello Adobe Team, I’m reaching out to suggest adding Malay language support to Premiere Pro’s Speech to Text auto-transcription feature. This addition would greatly benefit a large user base in Southeast Asia, providing enhanced accessibility and editing efficiency for Malay-speaking creators. Could you consider adding this language to your supported options? I believe this feature would be highly valuable to many users who work in Malay. Thank you for considering this request!
The FX badge & new controls for Opacity & Volume on clips in the timeline are actively hindering me. I'm sure there are people that benefit from these controls, but for simpler videos they get in the way & interrupt my flow. Having these as default on with an option to turn them off would be great, as there are many people with absolutely no need for them that are being disrupted while they work. I usually am happy to work through little inconviniences but I am taking time out to write this because of how much they are getting in the way & forcing me to repeat & re-look over steps in my editing. If there is a way to turn this off already without rolling back versions I would greatly appreciate instructions!
So, I switched the hotkeys for this commands as follows: Go to Next Edit Point is Up arrow and Go to Previous Edit Point is Down arrow. It works fine in Timeline panel, however works the old way in Project Panel, which is very annoying. Is there a way to fix this?
I'd love to be able to include the mouse scroll in the keyboard shortcut settings. For instance, hold down Shift-Alt-Ctrl and scroll to change the lumetri exposure setting. It would allow you to use the mouse and keyboard to perform scroll actions without buying a control surface with knobs and dials.
Hello, I hope to add the Arabic language urgently to Adobe software services because there are millions of people in Arab countries who do not master a language other than Arabic, and I personally cannot use Adobe Premiere because of the problem that there is no Arabic language within the program. Can you help us in this matter and add more languages?
