Fireworks

Fireworks still works.  Today I just went through the whole process of re-installing Fireworks.  It's asking me for a serial number.  I tried it twice.  Customer Support doesn't support the app because it's an older app.  I pay monthly for access to these apps.  I'm calling headquarters on Monday to [complain] about having apps that I pay to have access to but can't fix my serial number issue.  Trust me, they can get by the dilemma.  They just don't [care] if you have always used it or not.  I should not have to go through this just to use a program that I was using a week ago.  It's not right.  Period.   [Moderator edited for clarity, language translators.]  

i bought fireworks long ago. they forced us to upgrade to cs4.  all ok.  computer died and need to move to new computer.  have serial number.  am 74 and do volunteer work at local high school in geography.  taught geography in college for 10 years.   now i need scan and adjust from this softeware.  please help

Hello,I have been browsing the internet looking for a way to download CS6 as I have the license key but have lost the install disc.I have come across a website that appears to have Fireworks and the other CS6 applications up for download.The website is called: ProDesignTools.I was wondering if this is a reputable source before clicking download on anything. --Thanks.

This seems to happen time and time again.Please fix, I have the Enterprise License almost entirely to access my Archive of Fireworks material.I had to jump through several hoops with Adobe last time this happened. Please could someone respond to this and action a fix. ThanksJ

I NEED HELP!!! I paid for a perpetual license AND I also am currently paying for Creative cloud and now I can't get the product I need. Can someone help???

I've used Foreworks for years and it was part of my Creative Cloud license. When I changed computers lst month, my Creative Cloud apps all transferred to the new computer and work perfectly, BUT Fireworks only worked as a free trial. Now the trial has expired and Fireworks won't even open. It tells me to BUY the license but that only leads to the full Creative Cloud license which I am already paying for. This is a nightmare of Epic proportions! Please help!

May I ask as an old time user, have not delved back into this line of work for decades etc, I have a laptop with it installed, the latest version before the aftermath, but I would like to install on latest laptop...will it, just say no, do not support and not allow me to install? Or has anyone successfully installed the program recently? Its possible to use the Adobe Fireworks also in the cheapest Creative Cloud Subscription model?

Fireworks was the best software i dealt with for webgraphics, and as of 2013 it won't be updated anymore, what is the alternative software that might replace it and gets updated?

Somehow, when I want to select something, left clicking it does nothing. Instead, if I want to change the object's shape, move it around, etc., I need to hold either ctrl, alt or shift + right click it! What gives? How can I fix this annoyance?

I have a full CC subscription. My laptop was stolen last week and I had to purchase a new one. I've since re-installed the CC, but now Fireworks shows as a 'trial' version. I need this fully re-enabled asap. [Email removed by moderator as per web forum guidelines.]

I have been using Fireworks to crop down images forever, but I am having some issues now. I used to open an image I wanted to crop and draw a square over it. I used to be able to put sizes in for that square and then move it around on the canvas to get the pieces of the image I wanted before cutting it down to size. That functionality seems to be missing. I can still draw a square on my canvas, but now there seems to be no way to specifiy the size of that square before cropping it. My primary use of this was to crop larger photos that I need to fit into specificied space. For example, if I had a spot that needed 1920 x 900 sized photo I could take a much larger image and lay the crop square over the image and set the size to 1920 x 900 and move it around to get the best view and hit the crop button and end up with an image that exact size. This worked great, but now there seems to be now way to specify that crop size. Please see the screen grab. I drew a red box around where

I recently purchased a new laptop.  I have a registered version of Fireworks with the serial number but cannot figure out how to install it on the new laptop.  Is there a way to install Fireworks without having to subscribe to Creative Cloud for $$$ a year?  

Hi, i've just bought a new laptop and need to install Fireworks CS5 on it.  I have the serial number, but there doesn't appear to be an option anymore to download it.  I understand the software has been discontinued.  However, as i've paid Adobe for the product, i assume that's a lifetime license.  Can anyone please point me in the right direction to download?Thank you so much.

Hello, I have been using FW for a long time.  It is the easiest for me to make simple and quick changes to a .PNG file.  I am trying to open and getting a 'Limit Reached' warning.  I have signed out of all of the creative cloud seats manually at Adobe.com.  I close the app and re-open it and it does not recognize that I have signed out of all devices.  Then, it says 'Update Required'  It appears to be an Internet Explorer problem.  How do  I get around this as Microsoft wants to used Edge.  Please advise as we can not do anything at the current time with our project.ThxLuke

My PC restarted itself overnight two days ago and now Fireworks CS6 won't open. This is what I get:Creative Cloud opens, all the other software (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) opens, but I get this every time trying to open Fireworks.Any suggestions, please?Many thanks...John G.

All the other apps work fine, but when I click on open for Fireworks nothing happens.  TIA
