Fireworks

Hi there, I've got the Full Adobe Plan and it will expire in 6 days. How is this possible If I have Fireworks in the Adobe Plan?!

I have an All Apps plan, have been using Fireworks for years... still stuck with my CS6 version and dont want to give it up.Today, tried to launch it, and get an activation error screen. Howevere, my Acrobat and Dreamweaver are working fine...any ideas?I have tried re-installing via Clud Desktop, nothing helped.Thanks

I need to do a number of small text boxes or paragraphs with slightly different info in each one with a border around. After the first one then clone or duplicate to fill an A4 page and print onto an A4 label to be cut out. I almost had it using a frame auto shape but after cloning I couldn't change the text.

I have a cc license, I have tried many of tricks posted on here without any luck.  Would appreciate any advice.

I can't launch my Fireworks at all (Windows 10 x64).It doesn't show up. Not even loading screen. Nothing. Plase, help ASAP!

The only reason we have the subscription is because of fireworks.Tried everything and it says our subs has expired. I'm assuming this is because the launcher for fireworks that was written in the day before IE shifted to Edge and now onto the Chromium engine.Its a sad day, will have to see if I can find a secondhand licence.

Hi all, I'm having an issue and hoping someone can help.  I've somehow managed to remove the properties toolbar on the bottom of my Fireworks workspace.  I've managed to find a kind of properties toolbar and it's there, but it's missing all the things I need like the X and Y axis and the size, etc. Does anyone know how to restore this?  I have no idea how I managed to remove it in the first place or I would try to simply undo my actions.  I have been hunting online to no avail and scoured every setting on Fireworks but just can't seem to find how to get this toolbar back.

I recently changed my plan to a student plan.  When I try to open Fireworks I get this message:   "Renew your subscription. Go to the subscription manager to renew your subscription for Creative Cloud and continue using your product uninterrupted. If you have just renewed your subscription, please wait 15 minutes and try again."   My subscription is valid but Fireworks won't open.  I already have it on my computer and it was working until I changed my subscription status.  Can anyone help me to open the app?   You need to ask program questions in the forum for the program you are usingTo ask in the forum for your program please start at https://community.adobe.com/Moving from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to the correct forum... I have been paying for  Fireworks since 2012. My account is in good standing. Last week I began getting this dialogue when I open Fireworks which says I am running a trial version and have only so many days left. How can I correct this. 

Why does it show that I only have a trial for Fireworks when my other apps are working with my subscription?

Hello, I have a map in a fw.png format containing many layers and many objects. Is there any way to export this from FW to something Illustrator will be able to use that preserves the layers and objects with in the and the ability to be able to edit them?  

As of today, looks like we're back to needing that serial number again when launching Adobe Fireworks on Windows 10?  I just ran into it for the first time in a while... and was force to once again re-install from the offline copy to get it to launch at all.

I have an all-apps plan.But for Fireworks, it pops-out a Validator window and hangs there, keeps saying "please wait for a moment".Doesn't move on. Pls advise.

I tried to open the .fw.png file I've been working on and got one of those "internal error" messages. The file then opened as a JPG (Document) - written in the bottom left of the window - that is all blank execept for one tiny bitmap image that was part of the original project, the countless other layers with images and vectors are gone. If I try to "Save as", the new file then becomes the 200 KB blank image with only that tiny bitmap on the bottom.When I open the original 7.2MB file on any other image viewer (windows photo viewer, paint, chrome, ...), I can vizualize the orignal image, in the same way it was before, but I need Fireworks to read it properly so I can continue editing its layers and etc. I tried to restart the machine, but FW keeps reading the file as that "blank" JPG.

Hi I have purchased a new computer that has a 4K monitor.My Adobe Fireworks CS6 desktop now displays tiny icons.Does adobe have a more recent Adobe Fireworks that is not cloud driven that installs and runs on a PC?Thank you

every time i go to launch fireworks i'm being prompted to give them my licencing code? i've have creative cloud fora decasde give/ortake and hve licenced fireworks since it was still a macromedia thing. i'm getting frustrated that i cant use my software. help  please!

I finally upgraded to MacOS Big Sur only to find that my go-to program for web images and graphics is finally dead! It is not supported on Big Sur. And abandoned by Adobe. Fireworks is an app that should never have been abandoned, bitmap and vector seamlessly integrated on one app without the clunky, bloated workflows of Photoshop and Illustrator, why would you throw it away? It doen't make sense. Why that app, you have so many tiny apps now, for so many specific niche jobs, why not web graphocs? Neither Photoshop nor Illustrator are anywhere near a usable replacement for what Fireworks could do. Sure, it was showing it's age, but if you'd kept up development beyond CS6 it would have, it could have top-line support for working with SVG, and all the other great advances in web graphics, since you abandoned it.Please, Adobe, wake up, stop shoving the bloated, unsuitable Photoshop and Illustrator down our throats for web graphics, and start up Fireworks again.

I have a full CC subsciption and yet Fireworks is asking for a serial number. I have tried all the typical things (logging out of CC, uninstalling Fireworks, etc). Doesn't work. I've read several other posts on here but most seem to be dealing with Windows and the steps given aren't available to me. I'm running it on a macbook. Absolutely no problems whatsoever with the program until today except it has been telling me my "trial" was ending. I ignored it, assuming it was a glitch I've been getting more and more of those from other adobe products. Just learning to live with them I guess. I don't have time to stop and fix things that are still working, but now that Fireworks has basically just quit on me I'm screwed. My subscription to CC is renewing in a few days. Would probably have to cancel if this issue can't get sorted out.

Hey Friend,   Just an FYI on Fireworks-I run it on Windows 10 64 bit.  Doesn't crash, no issues. (a wonderful tool-simple, direct 'self revealing' in terms of capabilities etc etc).  The trouble I take it, will be for people who didn't make an original purchase before Adobe moved to its subscription model.  Would you happen to know if there is a Mac download link still around for a cloud version of FW?

When I try to open Fireworks CS 6 it says my trial has expired. It has worked fine in the past.   

Hi, we are a small school in the UK with a 55-user shared device license to Creative Cloud.  A while ago, I created a package for Fireworks as our Head of Art needed a specific function that apparently is not avaiable in any other package.  In the last few days, Fireworks has stopped working and is asking us to renew our license for Creative Cloud.  When I click on the Try Again button a message appears saying "validating license" but that fails and it returns to the original error message.  We did renew our CC license for another year recently so I'm not sure why this has stopped working - all the other apps are still ok.  I note that Fireworks no longer appears as an option when I try to create a new package and select the Show Older Versions option.  Help!RegardsMartin CarrierIT Support, Kent College, Pembury, UK
