I tried the below URLhttp://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_24_active_x.exe But I'm getting a 404, resource not found error. What is the correct URL to download install_flash_player_24_active_x.exe and install_flash_player_24_plugin.exe
Pop up on screen required Updating plugin. Message appeared with two options on top right of screen /Continue Blocking //Allow Update/. There was no option on screen to close message and defer it to a later time nor a way to just close the screen. This process was repeated several times after I tried signing into a site and every time it opened the request to update repeated asis was in a loop mode.I got a message that the install was completed and he looping still continued. Oddly it does not happen on all the sites and I might be at faultas I did not do one of the instructions #2 "Complete all recommended updates before restarting your browser" I did restart a browse of one site and each time I now try to open it the site opens and the message appears and knocks the site.I could not find the download folder and locate Flash Player Installer file for FlashPlayer.exe All this is compounded when without my permission Windows downloaded "10" and I am no
Hi Everyone,I'm trying to install the latest update for Flash, and i've gone to the official link. Downloaded it>Double clicked to install> and tried both allow auto updates, and manual updates, but no matter which, it always installs/downloads up to about 50%, then stops saying, "Adobe Flash Player: Installation failed. Click 'Finish' for further assistance"I use Firefox, and also tried in IE to download the installer, but it gave me the same results. I doubht that makes any difference. Something I was reading said try downloading the offline installer, but that installer told me a newer version is available, and just redirected me back to the beginning where I was downloading the update from to begin with @ Adobe Flash Player Install for all versionsFor the time being, Flash works; i'm getting a box stating my current flash is vulnerable and I have to keep clicking allow to use it or firefox blocks it. But I've had this problem before in the past and learning from that one, uni

Hi, The upgrade to v24.0.0.194 has broken our flash based chat client. When trying to download the flash policy from our flash policy server the following is occuring:SecurityError: Error #2003: Invalid socket port number specified. at flash.net::Socket/internalConnect() at flash.net::Socket/connect() at Stub/connect() at Stub/configCompleteHandler() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent() at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()Setting EnableInsecureSocketPorts=1 in the mms.cfg file resolves this issue, however we cant get our customers to make this change. Our action script currently loading the policy though an xmlsocket:// call. What do we need to do to resolve this and get our chat working again without the work around?ThanksSteve
OS Windows 7 Home Premium ver 6.1.7601 SP1, Mozilla Firefox ver 50.1, download link as below:Problem started when attempting to update (as above). Proceeded to delete all traces of Flash Player as per detailed instructions. No change. Several more attempts to download/install with the same result, download stops at 50% and reports as failed. Have been using this app for a long time and never had a problem with updating until now. There have not been any changes to my system (as far as I know), that could contribute to this problem. Any help resolving this problem would be appreciated!
Hello all,I'm still running WinXP Pro since I'm old, use the computer purely for rather simple tasks anymore, and, for the most part, it's stable. Recently, though, I had to re-install files (via Check Disk function) and the problems I was having with BSOD and inability to boot, are resolved. However, now when I access a Flash Player video, via Firefox, (all versions are up to date), I can watch the video and hear the audio, but can not successfully toggle a switch to full screen, nor enlarge the default screen, nor advance the video, nor adjust the volume. After flailing around trying to find the proper site/instruction, I did disable the "enable hardware acceleration" function, but unlike earlier, (on the unrepaired XP Pro), that did not cure the problems. I'm hopeful I'll get the help needed to fix it, but, please, those kind enough to offer that help keep in mind I'm computer literate, but certainly not expert. Step by step instructions will be welcome

Hey all.We recently deployed FP 24.0.0.194 to a Patch Testing Group in our environment and have found that Chrome and Firefox have been crashing intermittently for all users. It happens maybe once every two hours. All users have Windows 7 64-Bit workstations. We deployed the Firefox plugin ourselves via MSI & SCCM, but Chrome received its' PPAPI updates automatically. No error messages are displayed. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Your latest installer installed Mcafee Security Scan on my PC without my permission, and without asking or notifying of the install. I have removed it, as well as flash player and all other adobe software, and want you to remove this account, as well as my email from all mailing lists etc. Since this is the only method of contacting you, consider this legal notice to stop using my email for any purpose whatsoever. If I receive additional emails from you, They will be in violation of the CAN SPAM act.
Have applied twice for Flash player (shockwave player and reader) licensing and no replies received.Used two different emails to do this. Checked spam as well.Have done this in years gone by and no issues - normally received answer back in less than 24 hours with the relevant links to download msi files etc.How can one directly contact the relevant licensing team to try to progress this please. Please can you help.
Hello! I have an old PC: Pentium IV 2 Gb RAM and GeForce 9800GT.Thus I'm using a deprecated Linux: Debian 5. It's fast. I have been upgrade the kernel from 2.6.27 to 3.16 using DEB-SRC from Debian 8 (for my Wi-Fi), Glibc from 2.7 to 2.15 using DEB-SRC from Ubuntu 12.04 (for Steam), and Firefox from 3.0 to 45.6esr (by hand).Previous version of Flash Player (11.2.202.644) was installed by extracting the ".so" file into ~/.mozilla/firefox/*.default/plugins. It works fine. Also there is a working VDPAU with a config file plus "YouTube Flash-HTML5" switching plugin. The latest Flash Player build (24.x) didn't work on my Linux. Firefox didn't show it in a plugins list. I have tried to run "ldd" and "strings" commands on the ".so" file. It didn't shows any error. There are logs: Flash Player 24 error - Pastebin.comUpd: I've found the solution. I have been upgrade my GTK to 2.18, logs: http://pastebin.com/suCSRrES But now I have crash if VDPAU is enabled. I've tried to update a page. Can you mak

Problems with using FlashPlayer with Mozilla FirefoxI currently use a desk top PC and I have Flashplayer 24.0.0 and my default browser is Firefox 50.1.0My problem is with using BBC iPlayer or ITV Hub. With Flashplayer newly installed , I can get either BBC or ITV. However , neither BBC or ITV are available after my PC has been closed down and re-started. If I then re-install Flashplayer , BBC and ITV become available again. If I change my browser to Google Chrome , I don’t have the same problem and both BBC and ITV are available all the time.I prefer Firefox to Google Chrome but what is the compatability issue between Firefox and Flashplayer. Is there a way round it ?RegardsTerry Dennis
