Flash Player (read-only)

I'm running Windows 8.1 x64, and trying to install the latest Flash Player for Firefox. I know there's already a topic for this, but the person didn't provide any detail and I don't feel like waiting forever when it's clearly an installer issue.I've disabled my firewalls completely to try and install this. I've tried running a clean install (uninstalled flash player completely before attempting to reinstall, big mistake), rebooting and all. I have version 23,0,0,207 installed , and now i want to uninstall it ,but i downloaded "uninstall_flash_player.exe"and run it , clicked uninstall flash player but the flash player still in the Control panel , please tell me how can i uninstall the flash player in my computer real ?

Hello, there is a problem with displaying bitmaps (in my case png files imported into flash). When a picture is added to display list sometimes it doesn't appear or appears cut on the screen. It happens rarely but when your game is played by more than 100 thousand players, you hear about this bug every day.  It started to happen with FP19 and still is not fixed.Correct:Incorrect:The picture is cut: only the top of the bitmap is added to the screen.Did any one come across with this problem or reported a bug to Adobe?

Before an accidental forced shutdown in my PC, all videos in YouTube are played in the Flash Player. I forced it by joining in then leaving out of the HTML5 Beta Test by YouTube when it changed some videos to HTML5 before. Then, when my PC crashed, I got the problem back again. The HTML5 trick doesn't work anymore, nor does erasing cookies and cache in the Chrome browser. In Firefox, Flash is default.This is really frustrating, as I use Magic Actions for YouTube extension in Chrome so I have more control on watching YT videos. I disabled all extensions and it's still a problem. I want to force it all to Flash. Unfortunately, I can't find any solution in the web. They all say the HTML5 trick and deleting the cookies and cache.

I was trying to watch HBO Go on a new Windows 10 laptop (brand new, I turned it on for the first time this morning.) HBO wouldn't play any video and said I needed to install Adobe, so I followed the link. On the Adobe page, it said that Adobe is integrated into Windows 10 and I did not need to install. I checked that flash player is set to run in my Windows Edge settings, and I restarted as well. I also searched for Adobe on my computer and didn't find any programs under that name, but the website still says I don't need to install it.

We have a closed network lab, and we need Adobe Flash to access our ESXi vCenter through the web console.  A resent update won't allow us to use our older version.  How do I download a standalone version of Adobe Flash for Windows 7, or any other Operating System?

Recently, I upgraded my test VM to Windows 10 version 1607 from version 1511.After upgraded, my application is no longer working with Microsoft Edge any more.Here is the scenario:Application frontend uses AS3, it has many SWF objects.Application uses self-signed certificate by default.Use Microsoft Edge to access this application over https, frontend couldn't be loaded properly. Right-click, was showing "movie not loaded".Enabled http connection, access it by Edge, no problem.In early this month, I've contacted Microsoft Support to check this problem. Just got confirmation from him this afternoon. He said he also reproduced this issue on his machine. It is not an issue of Microsoft Edge.Anyone has same problem?ThanksBrayden

@I've been trying to get the MSI Files for the version 23.0.0.62  but there is not download link associated.   Please anyone can help me??  I 've read all the messages from all the forum the links that they put here have nothing to do with the MSI download.Please let me know how to get this.

With the recent changes in Flash 23 to disable, but still allow for an opt out at the user level, or enable legacy at the system level via mms.cfg EnableInsecureLocalWithFileSystem=1 setting, I am curious how enforcing the default behavior and preventing users from trusting files could be done.I tested EnableInsecureLocalWithFileSystem=0, hoping that it would prevent users from making changes and trusting content, but that did not appear to work.I thought about creating a master settings.sol file and using it to overwrite the users settings.sol file, but that just feels like a bad idea to override that file since I don't want to step on all of the user's settings/freedoms, just the one security related setting.So, how can the new default behavior be enforced at the system level? Additionally, is there a timeframe for when legacy mode will be removed permanently without work around?

I am really furious with this crashing all the time. I have tried to correct it by Adobe's solutions but to no avail. I have now downloaded another edition of Firefox as recommended by Adobe and there is NO difference! If I could do without Adobe, I would!

Hi everyone,I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, and Google chrome (PPAPI). I have the latest version of flash player installed. 23.0.0.207Whenever I visit the language website 'Babbel', which has speech recognition software, every time I attempt to set up my microphone to allow access etc, the settings panel is missing.I have had ongoing problems of this nature for awhile now, and have tried all the popular suggestions such as  audio troubleshooting, checking plugins, and extensions settings. Any help would be appreciated.

The link to download Flash Players under our distribution agreement (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution4.html?auth=secret-stuff-here​) stopped working a couple of days ago.  It redirects to Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe I see in the FAQ that "https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution4.html will be decommissioned on March 31, 2017".  But, uh, it's October 2016 now.What's going on?  Our agreement expires in January 2017...
