Flash Player (read-only)

Im using flash player for one of my chrome application. It was working fine before flash version 23 update. Inside application we have a communication between JS and flash. For allowing that communication we are selecting the option "allways allow" option in "Global Security Settings panel".  But now the communication is not working after the new update. Is there any new security things to do for this version?

Hallo,My problem: In my computer system was installed Adobe Flash Player 14 ActiveX - a elder version - before I updated the system up to Win 10 Pro 64 bit latest version.  Now I can not uninstall this elder version neither using the function "unintall programs" nur "uninstall apps" by Win 10.My programm Kasperky Internet Securoity 2017 reports, that there is an update ready to update 'Flash Player 14 ActiveX to Flash Player version 23.0.0.162. But this update does not work - an unknown error is reportet. The uninstall program provided by Adobe Flash Player only works to uninstall the latest version, but does not uninstall Flash Player 14 ActiveX.  That is why my Kasperky reports everlasting "update error" and "the computer is at risk".How can I uninstall the old version 14 ActiveX to sort out the problem??? Actually I can not degrade to Win 7, the precedet version of Windows.ThanksBest regardsWerner

I have a Mac 10.11.6. I have tried several times to download Flash Player but when I try to go into the icon it it says "Not Responding". I have followed the instructions on the website by ensuring everything is enabled in Preferences > Security and still no results. I want to stream TV from my Comcast account and need this. Hello.We've been using Flash player playing videos for years, as teaching materials in elementary schools. It usually packaged in CD-ROM, that teachers can watch both on the web or on local computers.In the simplest way, we use html and js calls player with control bar(.swf file), and then load an outside txt file which contains the swf video file name.It worked fine in every browsers on both windows and Linux OS, however because of the security issue, now the swf player cannot load txt files anymore while played on local computers.We understand this issue in some computers can be resolved by adding local video folder into white list, but not every computer is OK after adding white list.If there is any solution, that will be a really big help.Thank you for taking time read the article.And here is two of the environment :==Windows 7, 64-bit==-Firefox 49.0.1 (latest version)-Chrome 53.0.2785.143 m (latest version), with flash player 23.0.0.185-flash player 23.0.0.185 (both ActiveX and NP

Friends and neighbors, after detecting the recent Flash Player update, I had no trouble on IE11.  However, I could not run the test Adobe provided for Flash on Firefox or SeaMonkey.  It only ran when I totally removed Flash, after which I had to download and install it again on IE11.  For the other two browsers I had to use other sites to confirm that I had the most recent version since something on Adobe's test page still would not show the update.  This system runs under Windows 7 64-bit.

I've re-istalled Flash Player on my macbook pro several times within a few months...every time I go on a website it asks me to install the "newer" version of flash, and as soon as I finish the download, the websites will still ask me to install flash as if the the first few times just moments before didn't take or happen. I'm so confused and am in need of assistance.

there are two files created after publishing, one is html file and the other is swf file. when i click the hyperlink in the html file, it cannot go to a new html file.besides, flash player is not used in Win10 but dotplayer is used. what is this dotplayer? please advise. thanks

Up until yesterday (13th September 2016) I was able to play Innogames Forge of Empire and Elvenar on my iMac desktop.Since then the start up screen loads but as soon as I move the mouse I get 'plug-in failure' reported.Whilst searching for a solution I saw that there was an update to flash player on the 13th September which I think may be the cause of the problem.I have cleared cache, checked the settings and everything appears to be in order.Is anyone able to offer advice pleaseThanks

I have Windows Vista Biz. I use Opera and Internet Explorer. All was well until Flash updated to Flash23. Then my flash stoped working in either browser. I got on the adobe web site and followed instructions about what to do. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash23, didn't work. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling an earlier version when things were fine. That didn't work. I even tried making sure not to auto update on the earlier version so it would not default to flash 23 and nothing I have done works. In Opera flash will install but then it doesn't work or only works on some things. In IE it won't install at all. Does anyone know how to fix this and if not is there another program besides adobe flash I can use in it's place.

My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, and the problem I'm having is after having downloaded Flash Player 23 ppapi, I see that in Control Panel, the installation date shows up, but the program size does not, which makes me suspect that the program did not fully download. Also, I cannot get flash player to function, doesn't matter what website I'm in, and know that the browser that I'm using is Opera 36.0. Reaktion: probieren wir das ganze 100 mal nochmal, gleiches Ergebnis.Überprüft, ob Flashplayer aktiviert ist wurde wohl auch etwa 50 mal gemacht und ja er ist aktiviert.Neue Lösungsidee: komplett deinstallieren und dann nochmal probieren: hat nicht funktioniert.Also nochmalige Deinstallation und diesmal eine offline Variante heruntergeladen, daher die Version 23.0.0 (*).Klar, das da das Update fehlt, also wieder zu adobe, her
