Flash Player (read-only)

My mom's computer which is an iMac running the latest version, started showing this popup last night when she goes onto shockwave.com to play games.  It says something about local storage and gives you the option of allow or deny.  (Sorry that I don't have a screen shot but I am on my computer after working with hers for hours).  The problem is that you cannot click or either allow or deny--it won't do anything.  I tried tabbing through the options and it would move but does nothing if you hit enter or space bar.  The only way to get out of it is to exit the website.  I really don't know much about Adobe Flash so bear with me please.  She uses Firefox but the same thing happened in Safari when I went to shockwave.com.  It did not happen in Chrome as of right now.  The computer is almost brand new and I checked and the latest version of Flash has been installed.  Just to try it, I uninstalled Flash and reinstalled it and the same exact t

After installing FlashPlayer 23 on my Mac Mini (OS 10.11.6) my .flv files will no longer play on RealPlayer 11 --- I get a "BLOCKED PLUG-IN" message in the viewer screen instead.  This problem went away when I re-installed my older FlashPlayer 22.

Hi,This is a bit of a random one but it's effecting work and I need to see if there is a solution please.Chrome updated to the latest Flash release over the weekend and I am now unable to access some Flash based content that I was able to access fine until the update happen.For some reason, the latest update will not work with my content and I cannot figure out why.  I have currently reverted to the last version of Flash Player as a work around (and am using Firefox as the browser), but this clearly isn't a decent fix.The strange thing is that the content does work when accessed online using Chrome with the updated Flash, however, I cannot access the content this way when trying to use it offline (ie as an html file housed on a usb stick) - this wasn't the case until the update over the weekend.Any help would be fantastic please.Thanks,Luke.

I tried downloading Adobe Flash Player version 23.0.0.162 but it gets stuck on the "installation will begin shortly..." screen and after 5 min it says " Application initialization error " .   I am running Windows 10 (64-bit). I want to download Adobe Flash Player with  Mozilla Firefox.    

Dear Forum members,I want to manage my settings so that when an update is available I can install. Without thinking I ticked a box that said install updates automatically. Then I realised that if I do that it will also install McAfee security which I don't need.I have searched online how to get the box with the three options and it says go to control and get all my programs listed but that doesn't bring up the flash player settings manager with the three options on the advanced tab.I have tried and tried to get this box on screen but can't manage to do it.This computer man is old and not really very computer savvy.Can someone please help me?Thank you.Anthony

Hello ADOBE Team,on your OFFICIAL redistribution for Adobe Flash Player site i´m unable to download the latest msi/exe/SCCM Flash Player 23.0.0.162 files.Neither Internet Explorer, FireFox nor CHROME installers are up to date.Under ALL of the links for 23.0.0.162 are the installers for 22.0.0.210, even for MACsDidn´t checked the Linux links.Is it a feature? I"m getting a 413 "Header Length Too Large" error message every time I try to load the Flash update page. Adobe issues?  Can't seem to find any info on this.

I have a 64-bit OS with Windows 10 and use Chrome, for someof my game your suggestion works, but for others a link is provided to udate flash player, but when I do the new player isn't working either. Any ideas what I can do. I have people in this game depending on my playing.  

Windows XP, using Chromium based SR Ware Iron version 49.0.2600.0 (as it is the latest available for Windows XP). Upon updating flash player PPAPI to version 23.0.0.162 found out that the plugin was successfully installed but failed to get downloaded when required by a webpage.  Had to downgrade to version 22 which works fine

This question was already asked and answered but the answer does not work for me. I have Windows 7 Pro. I have been getting this pop-up constantly since version 22. I have used the Adobe uninstaller from this article; Uninstall Flash Player for Windows  and removed all the folders as instructed.  I currently have Flashplayer 23,0,0,162 re-installed in Firefox 48.02 and IE 11.0.9600.18230.If I ignore the UPDATE prompt, another pop-up will show up with title of Adobe-Flashplayer 23.0 Installer saying unable to launch because another one is running. How can I get rid of this prompt. A lot of my work applications use Flash so I don't have the option to just not use it.

Hello,Last uppdaterningen of Flash 22.0.0.210 came out in July. does anyone know if it will release a new version soon?given that it tends to come out a new one every Monday?We will pack a new version within a week. Would love object if there will be a new version soon to get with it.

Hi,I'm trying to upgrade my flash player in Firefox but after starting installation I receive the messageError of initializing the applicationand the installation is stopped.I'm using Forefox 48.0.2 and my OS is OSX El Capitan 10.11.6.Any help is apreciated.

Evidently I have Windows 10 upgrade and the Flash player uses Edge. It says the flash player isn't enabled. When I follow the step by step instructions , the settings says it is enabled. I have tried to disable it, get out then enable it. Nothing works . Getting frustrated!

I think the downloader should have the option of not installing Mcaffee Scan with Adobe Flash player instead of it being automatically installed. Having to go through uninstall steps to remove Mcaffee is an added cumbersome burden. What do you think?

I just got an app yesterday and I just started using it today. However, I cannot use it because I have to get Flash. I tried getting Flash for it, but I can't. Now, the app is useless.
