Flash Player (read-only)

I am having problems with flash player in edge. Windows 10 home, version 1511, OS build 10586.218. Flash version is 21.0.0 Problem noted in Facebook games. Works OK in internet explorer.Any help?

I seem to get the above error whenever I try to load adobe flash content it seems. It seems that safari is not picking up my flash player installed and above the media content it says install adobe flash player but I have already tried removing adobe flash and reinstalling. I have made sure per apple recommendation that under Safari Preferences Security Allow Plugin's is checked and under manage website setting's Allow Always is selected. I am using a linux server to host the whole flash player distribution (.cab) files.I have setup mms.cfg to download from our linux server automatically and silently.I have the programmed task and checked that the service exists. On my work pc, i have build .213 installed while the cab file i installed on the linux server has build ..242. Hi, having some issues since bit more then a week.Streams (e.g. twitch, netflix) stutter and dropping a lot of frames, even with 10secs+ buffer and mobile quality.Looks like every other second the stream is stuck .5secs.I tried several browsers (edge, chrome, firefox) and reinstalls, same issue, drivers are up to date.Hardware is a trekstor wintron 10.1 tablet with 2Gb Ram, intel z3735f.Connection is 16Mbit cable and 300mbps wifiI had no issues at all till last week.Funny point, deactivating flash in edge lets me stream with no lags, but misses all twitch settings and gets stuck at navigating in videos sometimes.In chrome nothing happens anymore after deactivation.Well and youtube hd goes fine too...i am totally confused whats going on here.Any suggestions?Kind regards

My hardware:Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.20 GHzATI Radeon HD 55702GB RAMTrying to play HBO GO using that is absolutely terrible in chrome/IE. I overclocked the CPU to 2.94 GHz and playback is definitely better, but every two seconds or so the video stutters very briefly and it's extremely annoying. Hardware acceleration is enabled. Total RAM used during playback is 1.33GB. CPU stays between 25-50%. I've disabled C1E in the BIOS and set the minimum processor speed to 100% in power options. I have the latest version of Flash.I'm debating upgrading my hardware. It seems kind of annoying to do it since I don't have this issue with youtube/html5. What should I do? Thanks.

I have a Windows 7, Samsung laptop.  Browser is Internet Explorer.  Have installed & reinstalled latest version of Fashplayer (21.0.0.???)  NUMEROUS times.  Install is CONFIRMED and is in my system (windows, syswow64, etc.) and add-on ENABLED in Internet Expl.  Why do websites keep insisting I do not have latest version and therefore, cannot play content?  (something requiring an old version, say v. 10, will work)  but not sites requiring newer versions.  Has been going on for quite some time, and not just with this latest version.  I have it set to automatically update, but I reinstall over and over and then eventually I give up on the site and its content.  But now there is content I need to see and can not do so.  Am very frustrated. 

Hello, we have always deployed the MSIs for PPAPI and NPAPI as well as an MMS.cfg file to suppress update notifications, etc. We are moving to Windows 10 and I now see that we don't really need to package PPAPI or NPAPI as we do not deploy Firefox and Chrome auto-updates its Flash instance. We'll just be applying the latest ActiveX version via WIndows Update and maintaining it with SCCM 2012 via Software Update collection.I am needing to know if there is still any reason to keep using our MMS.cfg file to suppress update notifications for Flash (>21) ActiveX, or if the application no longer notifies of updates, or if there has been some other change to this feature. I am sorry of the tone of this discussion. I installed Flash Player 11 last night. The screen pops up and some strange software description shows up with either a dismiss or next button at the bottom. I look at the main window and for sure it says Adobe. I click dismiss only to find out that I have to dismiss 4 more software packages BEFORE I get to the flash install button. I thought you guys were above this cheap, blatant, stupid approach to providing user value. My whole impression of your company changed instantly. Because of this, every adobe software package i have, I have shutoff all updates so I can manually see what junk may be coming from you into my computer. Once flash was installed, I went back to my control panel/programs, and guess what, there were 3 junk programs you installed without my permission. This is so sad. Since the computer I had this issue with only has three software packages on it besides yours, and they have not been updated, I know this sneaky, underhande

I'm going to the website adobe to download the Flash player for debian (Ubuntu) faced such a problem (screenshot below):I solved this problem as follows:1. Version chosen .rpm (RedHut) and downloaded it;2. changed .rpm to .deb file the following commands:     install alien:     sudo -k apt-get install alien     transform from .rpm file to .deb file with the following command:     alien --to-deb package.rpm3. install the .deb package:     sudo dpkg -i package.debbasically it is all. I hope this issue will soon decide adobe team!

I am having the same problem. I can sign into my Adobe account; just did to get to this forum, but when I try to install Flashplayer, neither my Adobe password or my Apple password works. This is so frustrating!!! Also, why do I have to update Flashplayerso  frequently?

The Adobe Flash Player Distribution page at Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe lists the current release as 21.0.0.240. The available downloads are for version 21.0.0.213 on the same page and I have seen no announcement of a release since 21.0.0.213. Screen shot included. Has there been a release I am not aware of and the web page links are bad? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, it was the best choice I had.

Similar problem.  xfinity tv says I need to install the latest OS X and flash player.  I am running the latest OS X 10.11.4 and have followed the prompts to download flash player until I get the "finished" alert.  Restart computer and safari and still get the message to update both again.  Now what?

Same problem. I can't download any Adobe product and this is new. My internet is connected. cookies are disabled. Firewall set to let it through. I just says it can't reach the server. Where do I find the server? in my search for answers I read that it doesn't have a security certificate. I don't usually use certificates. Driving me crazy!

Can anyone help please. My domain server had to be reconfigured following a crash at the weekend. I used to be able to play flash videos in both IE11 and Edge. Since registering the client computer again on what it thinks is a new domain, neither IE11 nor Edge will allow flash to run. I've followed the instructions making sure the flash add on is enabled and no activex filtering in IE11, and made sure the "use adobe player" switch is ON in Edge, but still no joy.However when I installed Chrome, it works on Chrome no problem.I'm logged on as administrator on the client..If someone can help, I'd be grateful.Thank you

Operating System--Windows 7 32 bitBrowser--Firefox 46.0Flash Player ver 21.0.0.213Issue:  When I'm browsing the Internet with Firefox browser, I noticed that a script stops responding and freezes the computer.  I also noticed on top of screen an information bar indicating that the Adobe Flash Player has crashed.  Sometimes, it will just freeze and cause the computer to have the blue screen and the computer restarts.  I receive box after computer restarts indicating that windows has recovered from an unexpected error.  Is there anything that I can do to prevent the Adobe Flash player from crashing and/or causing the blue screen.

It said that I need to install Adobe Flash Player, but I have already installed it when my computer was Windows 8! I clicked the link and it turned into a website telling me how to set up Flash Player on computers with Windows 10.
