Flash Player (read-only)

I've reinstalled a Windows XP computer that HAD Adobe Flash Player on it, then reinstalled Firefox. Only, I could not reinstall Adobe Flash Player! Check Why can't I download Adobe Flash Player on my Windows XP? | Yahoo Answers. There were no error messages, no anything. The installer just plain wouldn't open. I've tried everything. The Adobe Live Chat was no help at all, and I created a Adobe account just to get help. Will someone help me?

A while ago I requested help on the Adobe Flash Player Forum because I couldn't install it.Unfortunately I didn't receive a response.....I tried to install the latest version yesterday (a different one) - I encountered exactly the same problem as before.I decided to open the downloads folder, I right clicked on the Flash Player download and selected 'Properties'.I found this:"This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer"I clicked on the "Unblock" option beside it and then successfully installed the latest Flash Player.Where can I find this security setting please so that I can alter it - I don't recall ever setting it up?XP SP3 / Firefox ESR 38.5.2 / Flash Player Version 20.0.0.306Security: Avast Antivirus and CryptoPrevent (set to Default, which I believe doesn't affect installations)No additional settings made on either.Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I need to know if I can install FP 20 en my mac air. Its processor is i5 1.4ghz. In the system requirements of FP 20 it is said to require a 1.8ghz dual core processor or faster. If I can´t install this version, what can I do?Thanks

When I try to install adobe flash player on my Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 I get to the point of inserting the username and password and then the box just shakes

I'm trying to install Flash player on an older PC running Vista 64 bit. It doesn't run when I double-click it from within the downloads folder nor when I try to get it to run from within Firefox. When I try to open it I see the hourglass for a couple seconds but then nothing. What am I doing wrong?

I just bought a Lenovo Thinkpad with Windows 7. I have an important website with video seminars I want to play. I keep getting this message: “error setting up player invalid license key” on all browsers. I have Flash Version 20.0.0.306, and it works everywhere but this website. I contacted the company, but nothing they told me worked. Yet they think it's a setting on my computer. However, I've done all the troubleshooting I could find and nothing works. I’m far from a computer wiz, and this is driving me crazy. Any suggestions as to what's going on, or what I can suggest to them to make these run on my laptop?  They run fine on my PC, also Windows 7.

Hi, I am unable to update my adobe flash player. while updating it, one dialog is opening asking for user name and password which i am not getting what to do now. i tried to enter the adobe login details but fail to proceed further. further on that, i am unable to un-install this due to this login details issue. anyone if have any idea, please put your thoughts on this.

I have this game I am trying to install on an external hard drive that requires Flash Player and even though it is installed on my computer the game keeps popping up with Flash Player is required for this install. Would you like to install it now? Is there any way to install Flash Player on my external or get the game's installer to recognize it being on the hard drive. I don't want to install the game to my computer. Thanks for any help.

I am experiencing the same issue, but only with edge, adobe works fine with firefox.  Pretty sad I have to navigate between all these different browsers just so surf the net.  I do the so called "fix" that adobe says to do and I get caught in the same bloody loop..  what gives with Adobe and Edge?  It worked just fine initially, and now, since last update I got crap.

OS is windows 8.1 or 7  I have tried both.  Does it on both.Flash 20.0.0.286Chrome with auto update.  FireFox did do a better job at first.  Then it got worse then Chrome.10 MPS on download speeds.Checked and unchecked hardware acceleration.  No effect.Tired increasing the web site data.  No effect.Tried 4 different computers thinking they was to small to run Flash smoothly.  No effect.Been doing this over 2 years saving up money to get another computer to only find out it was not the problem hardware wise.3 AMD and latest Intel I5 3.5 8gigs of ram.Computer is dedicated to only doing videos.  No other background programs installed.  Just the OS and its updates. Drivers for MB  2 Different monitors.  First was a plasma,  second is a Vizio.  Same problemScreen resolution does not matter.  Nor does play back resolution.Hulu.  Be nice to watch Hulu.  The app in the TV plays Hulu fine.  It is just a crappy

I need to email a certificate to my professor using Adobe Flash Player. However, when I followed the instructions provided, it takes me to the flash player pages that displays the version of flash player on my computer. I've chatted with someone at Adobe, but they couldn't help me. I sent this question in yesterday and it is still not answered. Can someone provide some insight?

Recently, I began getting a message from Flash Player requesting to acquire more space on my computer.  The message has several options including allow and deny, but it doesn't matter because no matter what I click on, nothing happens and the game freezes.  Even if I reload the page, the same thing occurs.  This does not happen on every game, but everyday this happens to a new one,  I have a PC and in the latest versions of Firefox and Flash Player.  Thanks to anyone who has an idea of what I can do to get rid of this.

I'm having an issue where a warning pops up about my local machine warning me that Flash Player has been detected, stopped, and gives instructions to allow it to run on my local machine but I'm not sure how to set up a local machine as a URL.'m using FirefoxI am using FF 44.0.2 (but the same problem with Chrome) Win 8.1 and trying to locally test a .swf file with a browser.Can anyone offer and idea of how to get Flash to stop blocking Flash?Thanks in advance,  Rick

I was asked to submit a tutorial quiz completion certificate to my professor, however, when I follow the instructions I was provided for using Adobe Flash Player, it doesn't work. The instructions say to right click on the certificate, but when I do that it sends me to the Adobe homepage and lists the current version of Flash player installed on my laptop. What can I do to correct this issue?

Sometimes when I try to watch a youtube or play the winner-casino.co in google chrome a message pops up saying "A plug-in (Shockwave Flash) isn't responding" and it gives me an option to stop the plug-in but that does nothing. I have a short term fix where I restart my laptop and then it's fine until later that day where it occurs again. It has become an annoyance and I don't want to keep restarting my laptop. Any suggestions on how to fix it?Thanks

I've tried everything! I have Windows XP. Flashplayer Installer wont work. I get to step 2, click on the downloaded file, and the Installer just sits there! wont download Update to Flashplayer??!!

so i can't watch any stream video it just keeps on loading forever and only plays the video after loading everything (this is starting to really make me angry) never had this issue now i have in my desktop, don't even try to tell me its internet problem because i have over 20mb/s download and 10mb/s upload so it's not my internet, youtube works fine. tried everything, windows update, malwarebytes, sfc/scannow, reinstalling flash player, installing older versions and nothing, thing is i know it's a bug with the current version of fp or just a general bug because i have a laptop and there i have fp 18 and there i have no problem watching the video [LINK REMOVED] help me fix this please, i'm already really angry because this just came up suddenly, when i 1st built my desktop there was no problems watching everything, then after 2-3 months boom the bug.PC:i5 4690kGTX 970Windows 8.1 Fully UpdatedLatest Adobe Flash Player 20

Going on for 2 months now, I have been getting this message on all pages I go to:Shockwave Flash maybe busy, or may have stopped. You can stop the pluggin now, or you can continue to see if pluggin will complete. This has happened more times than I can count. I have updated the player, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared my cashe, and tried several other things to no avail. Sometimes the message will come 3 to five times within 2 minutes or less. I have a Dell computer, operating Windows 10 and use Firefox. I have attempted other browsers, but the problem still arises. What is the problem? This was not an issue before December 2015.
