Flash Player (read-only)

We are using the Flash Player ActiveX in our vb.net application.As a result of updates to 20.0.0.228 version of Flash Player, it is not possible to play.The swf path is "file:///e:/movie/test.swf" or "file://server/movie/test.swf".This works with previous version of Flash Player, but latest version (20.0.0.228) cannot play.The swf path is "e:\movie\test.swf" or "\\server\movie\test.swf".This works both of version.I want to know whether this be fixed in the bug, or whether a specification.I hope to be able to play all kinds path, include "file:///e:/movie/test.swf".

For years I've searched for a web browser that didn't require this despicable program. I bought a new computer, and I was determined to find a Crash-free browser. I found one with Opera. Finally -- AT LONG LAST -- I found a browser that loaded pages in 1 - 2 seconds, not the 10 -30 seconds required in Chrome. I was able to play music on WMP that didn't pixelate. The browser didn't crash for three days. Then... ah! then... to my dismay, I tried to use a program I like, but it required Crash before it would attempt to run. I sucked it up and downloaded Crash in the hopes it would stay in it's little dog house until a specific program needed it. Hah!! My browser immediately started crashing, page loads were back to the 10 - 30 second Chrome standard, my computer started to freeze up even when I was off-line.This is not a new problem. It's been going on for years. I've posted requests for help, but it doesn't seem like anyone gives a damn. This program is a piece of garbage. Whoever wrote

HelloI'm writing from Australia.I've been trying to install Adobe Flash Player (V 20.0.0.267) fro a couple of days.  I've had no luck at all.  I've tried in the past to Adobe Flash Player using other browsers (Safari & Firefox) and haven't had any luck.  Yesterday I tried changing to Safari that didn't make any difference. I've look at some of the discussions and haven't found anything helpful.  This is the error message I get when I try to install it. "Application initialization error"Here's the details on my Operating system, web browser and MacBook:MacBook Pro9,2 (purchased new Dec 2015);running OS X 10.11.2; and browser is Opera (V 34.0.2036.47).I hope someone can help me.Thanks

Only a single copy of the installer can run is the error message when trying to update Adobe Flash. To my knowledge no other installer, including an Adobe installer, is running... even checking opt+cmd+esc, there is no application to force quit. Viewing Activity Monitor is of little help since the processes are disguised with unrelated identities.

Hi,I have a little problem with playing videos on some sites. It started about a week ago when I noticed three things:- streams and videos on twitch.tv are impossible to watch on the highest setting ('source' quality). They're extremely laggy, playback is choppy and quite often image is skippping for a second or two. Between the 'skips' it looks like slow motion.- similar problem occurs while watching youtube videos in 1080p (max for my monitor), altough it's much less severe - player is dropping single frames every now and then so the video is absolutely watchable but the difference is noticeable- with the quality set to auto (on youtube) it no longer switches me to 1080p after a few seconds. It just simply doesn't go beyond 480p on its own.It all happened this year, it looks the same on both Firefox and Opera, I didn't install any new programs or addons for a while. I'm using flash player instead of html5 (old computer) so it's I think it's the right place to ask about this problem.

Hello, I have big troubles watching videos online on all browsers: Youtube works fine, but on Metacafe and Wat I have the video but no sound. and dailymotion is not working. I have the latest flash player, i uninstalled it and download it again, doesn't change anything.I need your help

I'm trying to write a Flash application for a more recent version of Flash Player than my current debug version.I'm developing for Flash Player 19.0, but my Debug version is 11.0.This means, when I export an SWF and try to run it, or even try to test my project, it uses the wrong version.So my question is, how do I mark any particular version of the Debug Flash Player as default so I can run my SWF files in it?

I havew downloaded flash player a few time, but when i go to websites that need it, they tell me to download them, although i already have. Help please!!

Why do I get the message "Application Initialization Error" when I try to install Flash Player?

I've been trying to roll back my flash player because the latest update is causing issues with my screen saver (Fliqlo). I did a clean install (used the uninstaller & manually deleted any left over files) & got it working for my other browsers but any time I try to install it for IE it won't. I'm trying to install version 20.0.0.228 & every time I click the winax.exe installer for IE, I get this error:I use Google Chrome but for my screen saver to work it needs IE flash player installed too. I'm running Windows 8.1

When trying to install flash player it asks to enter password it just shakes at me iv tried to reset my password but i don't receive an email, so i created a new account and password and still get this shaking when trying to install

Followed all instructions to install Flash Player on MacBook Pro 15" Dec. 2013 with Yosemite 10.10.3 (14D136).This has been going on and on and on for 2 monts now.I uninstalled Flash from my system (to clean reinstall) and the result is still the same.It is verified uninstalled in the Library, yes.I never succeeded installing it.What can I do ?

Adobe support pointed me to the forum for this question. We are distributing Adobe Flash to our company PCs. Per Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe we are now required to have a license to do so. 3.2(a) of the license specifies we can make one copy on a file server for distributing within our intranet. We will use a file server in each location to distribute to the PCs at that location. The language appears to permit as each file server will have one copy of the software. I'd like to clarify this is acceptable. Thanks.

Couldn't load plug-in:I had this problem occur earlier today, I've tried everything that has been suggested, but no luck whatsoever. Here's what I've tried, hopefully someone can help me (apart from say use Firefox).Tried:1.) Uninstalling & installing again - Still the same2.) Installing flash player 18 - Still the same3.) I checked my chrome directory for the pepperflash file so I can change it's name which apparently fixes it. Nothing in said directory:C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperFlash4.) Uninstalling Chrome and installing again (However not getting rid of the add-ons/extensions etc.)5.) My computer is saying that I need to download Adobe, then when I click to download it, it says it has already been downloaded but is disabled, when I follow the instructions to enable it, it says that it is enabled, then it says its disabled, what do i do??

May I first just say, thanks a lot for forcing me to make one more account on the internet I have to keep track of, and a useless account at that since this will be the only thread I'll be ever making on it. Aside from a phone call, making your users post in a thread for answers is the biggest inconvenience, and I hope you realize how disrespectful it is towards people because yes, I am indeed angry.As for the main issue I wanted to inquire about, I recently got a tablet only to discover that Flash player doesn't work on it, or rather ANY phone that isn't an android. So I'm here to ask two questions. One, are you currently working on expanding Flash Player to all mobile devices? And two, why isn't flash player ALREADY working on all mobile devices? I have a 15000 user environment, deploy using Microsoft SCCM 2012 r2, and I just received "Adobe Software Distribution Request - TrackID: 641137-20160114", the URL I was given keeps redirecting me to "http://www.adobe.com/products/players/flash-player-distribution.html" which is the link to request distribution rights. What do I need to do to get to the distribution url?

hi,I'm trying to open a visualizer program on newly updated windows 10. I installed the latest adobe flash player.it still wont work. this is apparently because the previous version is still working in the background. however I cant seem to remove it.can anyone help?
