Hi everybody !We have an HTML application, with different states. In one state, there is an embeded SWF. We would like to use WMODE "direct" because performances is better than "transparent" or "opaque". However we must interact with HTML popup dialog in front of SWF, but with WMODE "direct", the HTML layout does not allow to use zindex to show popup dialog in front of. We have implemented diffrents solutions to hide swf when popup is displayed (it works, html embed object with width and heitgh to 0), include html popup in iframe (it works, but transparancy in iframe is not allowed), but any solution is sexy ! My question is simple : is it possible to change WMODE at runtime, to enable transparency and layout when we want to display modal HTML popup in front of SWF ? The idea is to switch wmode when a popup is displayed (transparent) or hided (direct).Thanks for your help.++ ^^

I am running on a NEW reset to factory settings late 2009 imac with 16gb of ram, 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB. Currently I'm using google chrome since it's my preferred browser HOWEVER THIS ISSUE DOESNT OCCUR ON SAFARI So when the video player options like play, pause, quality settings, full screen and so forth are showing blinking white boxes varying in size start to conquer the lower 1/3 of the video player box as well as the 1/6 of the screen on the far left and far right sometimes. In addition the Video Title when in fullscreen gets magnified and stretched in the remaining space to the right of the original proportions of the video title and start to blink rapidly too. I have tried to download the latest version of flash player and it gives me a message that my antivirus software will not allow it.

I use Adobe Flash to view my local newspaper but the scroll with my touchpad is way too sensitive.  A slight touch and the pages fly by.  I've tired this on 2 computers - Windows 10 and Windows 7.  And the mouse / touchpad settings do not seem to make any difference.  I noticed several complaints of this in the MAC discussions but noting on Windows. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Unable to load Brother Printer Control Panel.I have used a Brother DCP-J315W All-in-One for months, on Windows 10.  However, in the past week or so, when I open the icon, I merely get a white silhouette of the panel but no links to "Scan Image" or "Scan OCR" etc.On Right-Clicking the panel I see "Movie not loaded" and "About Adobe Flash Player 20.0.0.228"Anyone have any ideas?  Seen this?

My Flash Player refuses to run automatically, can anyone help? I'm tired of clicking OK each time I need it as I browse. This only started 2 weeks ago. Before that there were no problems so, I'm embarrassed to say that I must have somehow caused this myself. So far, I've gone to my "plugins" page and everything is set as "enabled".  I'm not sure what else to do. I have Win XP Home, Adobe flash player 11 installed. I hope someone can help.

Dear all,While I was trying to disable the "PRESS ESC TO EXIT FULL SCREEN" message which I find extremely annoying, I came across some website where a guy claimed he had found some patch (at least for IE, Chrome and Firefox) for it.So I went on and tried it. Unfortunately, instead of solving this issue it caused the built-in flash player for Windows Edge(/IE 11) to stop working. The Adobe's troubleshooting page is of no help, and I really cannot find a way to uninstall/reinstall nor repair the above mentioned Flash player. (Note that with the installed Flash player for Chrome, somewhat obviously, still works).So my question is: can I repair/re-install this built-in Flash player or shall I just go with the brute-force solution and format my PC because of this damaged file?Many thanks in advance for your attention and help

I'll start from the beginning - when I watch some video streaming services, in most cases fps is not that good - rather below 30 fps. I heard disabling hardware accelerations might solve the issue, but I can't change that setting. When I right-click some video/object and choose settings, the options window is frozen, I'm not able to change the category. How can I disable hardware acceleration then and will that help to increase fps? Flash version is 18,0,0,232, OS - Windows 10 Home 64-bit.

Hello!I'm willing to update my environment to the latest version of Flash Player as per https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb15-32.html but seems that the Flash Player 20 is still beta (Download Adobe Flash Player 20 Beta for Desktops - Adobe Labs).Could you please, confirm if this is still beta or not? If this is still beta, what is the latest “stable” version that we can install to solve such vulnerabilities, since we usually don’t install beta in a large enterprise?Thanks a lot. Leandro

Hello,I have a problem with flash player default cache location? It is on %appdata%\adobe\Flash player but since %appdata% is redirected on a server, we experience slowliness.We use 19,0,0,245 on Windows 7 64 bits.Do you know a way to change the default cache location ? I have checked on mms.cfg but could not find the right parameter.Thank you,Yohan.

I use ftp.adobe.com often to get latest Reader and other products from Adobe i use so I can install them silently on multiple PC's both at work but also at home i run my own home made Silent Installer when i reinstall a pc or test on virtual machine.Thing is now the ftp.adobe.com ask for username and password is that a mistake or?I also noticed the Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe has a warning about being shut down.I hope its a joke.PS. I have been having trouble using my Adobe ever since Windows 10 installed on my computer. I have tried downloading It and it says I cannot bc it is already integrated with Windows 10. I go to check and make sure it is enabled on my Internet settings and It is. However, when I go to use it, it tells me it isn't installed or that I need to install plug ins. I do not know what else to do. Whenever I checked my system on the website it says Your flash version- not installed, Your browser name- edge, Your operating system- Windows 10. I do not know what else to do or how to fix this and I need to use it in order to submit an assignment for school. Please help in any way possible. Thank you.
