Fresco

This new app is too complicated. The brushes are not the same. Many people have been relying on the old app for business/ university purposes - also half way through project which countless hours of effort has been put in to with no way of continuing because the brushes aren't the same. Not giving a warning as you open the app, and not transferring everything that was there over the new app has ruined any chance of users of the old app enjoying and embracing your new product. Just revive the old app. Please.

Hi,I have a new Microsoft Surface 10 and have tried to install Fresco. As soon as I start Fresco and try to create a new document, open an existing document or even just start the introduction, Fresco crashes after a short loading time.In the meantime, I have updated everything, updated all drivers and programs, uninstalled Adobe CC and all programs, run Adobe Cleaner and reinstalled Adobe CC. Then I installed Fresco again first. Unfortunately still without success. Fresco crashes as soon as I start any action.I read in the forum that I should install Fresco under a different admin account. Can I still access it with my normal admin or do I have to change the user every time?Looking forward to help.

I've been having trouble with the free transform tool - it doesnt happen in all instances of use, but if I copy/paste an object, select an area of a drawing, or duplicate a drawing layer, when I try to resize or move it on the canvas with the free transform tool and I click and drag inside the transform box (not hitting any of the corner cursors) it skews/distorts the object. I can only move the object across the canvas without warping by spam clicking the nudge button, (which is a pain as it only moves the object the smallest amount) I don't have the distort/skew etc buttons active when this happens, I am sure to click on the transform tool - yet I'm still unable to move it. Saving the document and reopening doesn't fix the issue, as the layers that have the issue continue to skew rather than move. It is only bound to certain layers or objects, one layer will transform fine but the next will skew. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm trying to look for a specific font in Adobe Fresco in Windows. I don't see an option to search or type in the name of the font I'm looking for. Am I missing it somewhere? I saw in a video from adobe creative that there was a search magnifying glass to the right of the word Fonts but I don't see that in my version. Not sure if that's because I have a newer version of Fresco or because it's a bug and it's just not there. This is what I see  

I've been working on a picture in the last few weeks, last time open was yesterday. Today there is a pop-up announcing that Fresco "cannot open file. Please contact support). This is only one file. Others open normally. Ipad Pro 12.9 inch (4th gen), 512 GB, 332 GB available. Can you help? Thx.

Dear community,maybe you can help.I have encountered several crashes of Fresco recently.Maybe there is a correlation with an Update of my WIndows 11, I installed a few days ago. The last time my Fresco kept crashing, it helped to update some graphic drives manually.As a pity, I don´t know anymore where to look for these drivers. I am working on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 with an Intel processor i7, 10th generation. and 16 GB RAM.Thanks for every help.RegardsMatthias

When I draw vector layers in Fresco and then move to photoshop to cleanup - the actual size of the vector artwork is much larger than the scale of the rest of the file. This creates a lot of extra resizing and cleanup when I finalize artwork for production. Are there any fixes or known workarounds to this that aren't so time consuming? This also creates issues in photoshop where anytime I try to transform those vector layers, it reverts to the original (larger) vector size.

My cloud storage is full so I have several files which Fresco has stored locally.I'd like to move them to a new computer. What is the path to the files in Windows?

There is ample information on importing PS brushes into Fresco, BUT can I export a Fresco brush to use in PS.If I have started work in Fresco and need to continue in PS and want to use the same brush I used in Fresco, how do I get the Fresco brush into PS?

I have been using FRESCO for awhile and, recently, when I select the Import and open option on the bottom left, it only shows .psd files as the option.  It used to have mile previous png files that have been drawn over time.  How do I get it to acces those, once again?  Thanks in advance.

If you're like me, and you're finding yourself so frustrated with Fresco's palm-fueled Undo antics that you're in danger of throwing your iPad across the room, then give this a try.  I've found that, much of the time, Undo gets triggered by slow placement of your hand on the surface of the tablet. It seems to read each different part of your hand as a separate touch, and two of those in quick succession will trigger an undo. If you put your hand down quickly, and with commitment, Fresco will usually ignore it. There are two problems with this: one, it's something you have to think about, which takes you out of your work, and two, it's not always successful. Earlier today, I put my hand down to start drawing and Fresco immediately undid 13 previous steps! Fortunately, I noticed before my Pencil touched the surface, so I didn't lose all those. In general, I figure that I have to re-draw about a third of the lines that I make in Fresco, because of its maddeningly bad palm reject

Having a hard time measuring images I draw. Used to mm and inches, and having ruler only measure in pixels is not much helpful. Anyway to show the width and height of a selected object or give us an option to changes the units to mm on the ruler?

Hi,I'm unable to use Fresco (5.5.0, or older version 5.0.1 same issue) at the moment since it crashes on launch both launching out of creative cloud & seperate desktop shortcut. It launches, I get to see the start screen where you can choose a document & but before I get the chance to it just disappears.Laptop:Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10850H CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.71 GHzInstalled RAM 32,0 GB (31,8 GB usable)NVIDIA Quadro T1000System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor All drivers updated to latest version. OS:Edition Windows 10 EnterpriseVersion 22H2Installed on ‎6/‎01/‎2021OS build 19045.4291Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19056.1000.0 If someone could help me out find the issue? Hello all. I'm trying to put some motion on my drawings. Im used to working with After Effects. Is there no concept on an anchor  or origin point for a layer? I want to rotate a layer using motion but I dont want to rotate it around the center of the layer. I want to be able to rotate it from a point of my choosing. (the anchor or origin point) My example is an arm on a character. I want to rotate around the shoulder and not the elbow. Hope this makes sense.

In a demo, Procreate drew a mirror image as one half of a motif was drawn.Can Fresco do that too?

For literally years the "open a copy in illustrator desktop" option in fresco has been broken. So to preserve vectors and layers the only workround has beeon to first open in illustrator ipad, then airdrop to desktop from there. Now, since update 6, Fresco no longer exports to illustrator ipad either!! So the entire app is useless. Adobe support don't seem to be able to help judging by the three frustrating hours I spent on chat yesterday. You CAN export as pdf and sort of extract the vectors by hollow arrow selecting the boxes in outline mode but it's awful and we shouldn't have to be doing this. Fix your software adobe!!!!!

I started using Fresco in December and immediately enjoyed the resources the program provides. It's a whole lot better than the previous app I used, so that's why this problem confuses me. As of today, I tried to upload an image onto a blank canvas to draw, as I always do, and it wouldn't work. The app lets me view my photo library and select a photo, but when I press it, it does not upload. I tried to delete the app and re-download it, but the problem was not fixed. I also tried to upload older images, as I thought it was because the image I originally tried to upload was new. Yet, it does not work. I changed permissions and tried again, but to no avail. It does the same thing when I try to upload an image onto a canvas I've already drawn on. Anyone know what I should do?

Recently the smudge tool on my free version of Fresco has stopped working. I can select it and change the brush and size and strength, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't do anything. It used to work for me, then not long ago Fresco started crashing any time i attempted to use it, and in the last few days it stopped making the program crash but now does not work at all. And yes I promise I am drawing on the correct layer.In case this is additional information is important, I only use pixel layers, never vector or live brushes. If anyone believes this is an issue on my end, I would love advice, but if this is a bug I hope it gets fixed soon.  TLDR; Smudge tool doesn't work I've tried everything 😞

The 5.5.5 version of Fresco has a lag, when I try to draw it always starts with a straight line. I have been using version 5.0.1 but it's resently uploaded automatically and now there's no "other versions" button on Fresco's options. Does anyone have a link to that older version?

So I have a Huion HS611 and its been months since i could use fresco properly, one day the pressure sensitivity just decided to stop working, and i've already reinstall the drivers, fresco and even windows, but nothing works. With every other app the sensitivity works fine it's just a fresco issue and it's been driving me nuts, can't seem to find a solution no matter what I try.Any help is appreciated!
