Fresco

I was working on an art peice that has text in it and I wanted to use Photoshop to handle my text placement because quite frankly the Fresco Text stuff is terrbile. I needed map out the art along side the text before I spent hours and hours doing detail work that might need to me changed to accomidate text. So I had the basic outlines and color blocks in for the art all using layers made 100 percent in Fresco. Nip over to Photoshop and work out where the text is going and how it will layout. Back to Fresco to go back to the art and OH NO all my layers art not one photoshop layer. All but two of these were made in Fresco and I did not edit them AT ALL in Photoshop  I can't even up group them never mind actually work on them. No idea what triggers this. For the love of god someone please fix this. This is not the two programs working together as we were promised. The only way I have found to even save my hours of work on the art is to now revert back to the previous version and lose

HiI'm currently on iphone and i can't find motion feature anywhere.Could you explain or show me by using screenshot where i can find it, or perhaps there is no such feature on mobile version? 

Hi. I was working on a drawing today when my screen suddenly went black. I assumed it must be some sort of lag so i exited out of my draawing and went back in. When it loaded back in I saw all of my hours of progress from today had been wiped. The layers i drew on remained, but their contents were gone. I closed the app and launched it again but the layers remained empty. I searched adobe support for any possible explanation as to what may have happened and saw that users from 2020 and 2022 were also experiencing this bug. I'm absolutely devestated about my loss of progress, is there any possible way to get it back at all?

Say i have a line art which consists of 2 layers.I created a third layer for coloring purpose.I would like to use fill tool to get the base colors on the third layer, but it seems that the fill tool do not consider contents on other layers. Where is the setting for fill tool?How can i set it to consider multiple layer?

Dear Fresco Community, I'm trying out Fresco for the first time and been using Procreate before. It's important for my workflow to have outlines on one layer and colors on another. Is there a way or workaround to fill the colors with the bucket tool on a seperate layer? In Procreate it is the reference layer setting but I cant find anything similar.Thanks in adavance!

I’m considering using pixel pens in Adobe Fresco for my artwork. Could you please let me know what sizes I can print my drawings without compromising the quality? Specifically, I’m interested in printing images at dimensions of 70x100 cm. Will they still look good at that size? Thank you. 

Hello, hopefully someone will be able to helo me with this.  Sometimes when I create a file in Fresco and export to pdf or use "Open a copy...illustrator desktop" the file open, but is destroyed. Check out the issue herein case the pics don't load. The first image shows the art work in Fresco, perfectly fine. The second shows what the pdf looks like when opened in Illustrator. The third is a screenshot of the pdf file from the finder. Its like the layers were clipped somehow. I've also tried exporting as a psd and and expanding the vector smart objects. I ran into the same issue. Is anyone else experiencing this? What is a solution? Thanks for your help. I'm using Fresco 4.6.1 on a 2016 Ipad ProDesktop - Mac Studio macOS Ventura Version 13.3.1Illustrator: 27.6.1

I have an issue that layers moved to the wrong location when I opened a file in Fresco. It's not just a problem with saving, but it also happens when I use Lasso tool to copy and paste. I made this file, and saved it after finishing. When I opened it again, my layers were messed up like this. I could not recover them because they were not vector layers. If I worked on a computer, I would have looked up the restore file, but I worked on an iPad. My iPad is OS16.5 and Fresco is 4.6.1 version. Is there any solution to bring my drawing layers back?

Is there a way to draw a path in fresco and open it in illustrator without having a doubled pathe?no matter what vector brush I use in fresco it will alway result in a double path in illustrator. Actually it's a filled area between two paths. When I draw in the illustrator app and send it to illustrator for desktop it's one path only.

I don't know if it is something I have done or something that can be reversed but I opened my artwork today to find that it was all locked as photoshop layers. I can no longer see my layers as they're locked and uneditable. Is this a software error? Can something be done to reverse it?

Hi, I want to use the fresco application to draw with my graphics tablet, but whenever I raise up my pen (not so close distance) and touch it again, the cursor starts from a different point, not where I left off.I added the fresco application to the software of my graphic tablet. When I deactivate (windows ink) section from the software of the graphic tablet, this problem does not happen, but then the pen pressure does not work.There is no problem with many drawing applications such as adobe photoshop, illustrator, and many others I only have this problem with adobe fresco.The brand of my drawing tablet (huion inspiroy 2 m)I am using Windows 11 Home.There is no connection, or cable problem between my graphic tablet and my pc.my drawing tablet software, adobe fresco, and all the apps you guys ask for are up to date.Thanks a lot...

I have recently reset my computer and have reinstalled Adobe Creative Cloud and Fresco. Whenever I try to use fresco, I am stuck on the Loading Documents Screen. I deleted all my files to see if it would load, but still nothing. I have no idea why it is stuck like this, and need help. 

Good evening everyone, This could be a really simple fix but I cannot seem to find an answer. I've watched 3-4 Youtube tutorials for Fresco and they've not helped! So my question is ...How do I stop drawing at the edge of the canvas?  In essence I would like to create a block/wall where I can draw up to the canvas and the brush stops, creating an edge which I can colour into? This is for general art and an NFT collection but I cannot seem to find the toggle/button/process. Any help is hugely appreciated! 

I really wanted to try to intergrate fresco into my professional desktop workflow for work but I find it doesnt work too well at all for desktop, some features dont even work.Simple things like1.) Hardly any hotkey support, example : cant color pick using Alt like you can in photoshop.2.) Cant rotate rulers on desktop3.) Current layer systems where the eye is on the side is combersome, and I dont think its a good idea. Just make it so you can click the eye on the layer itself please.4.) Cant scrub through timeline on export for timelapse Yeah so theres are my desktop issues I'd love to see address. Thank you 

I am having some issues with the vector brush settings. Everytime I tried to erase to make the edges more smoother, the eraser takes off too much. It literally looks like someone took a bite out of the edge of my illustration. The edge is not smooth and looks jagged. I tried to reduce the vector brush size and also played around with the settings, but I still can't figure this out. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice on how to overcome this problem? Thank you. 

Hello! On my Ipad I can see all the new features of Adobe Fresco version 4.7, but on my PC it only worked for a couple of days. Now I can't see things like the new option to turn "Paint Inside" on and off in the brush bar. Why does this happen?On the PC I have everything updated to the 4.7 version as well and I also uninstalled the app from the cloud and reinstalled it to test and the new options still do not appear.Thanks in advance for your answers

 Hi there,I've recently been running into a major problem with Fresco; I save and close a file on the app after spending hours on one drawing, but then when I go to reopen and edit it comes up with "This format is not supported. The document does not appear to be a valid PSD file", so I am forced to make a copy of it. I also can't delete said file and it comes up with another error?Any solutions would be appreciated, thanks

Hi! Fresco keeps deleting files on my iPad. Not just one but at least a dozen are just gone. They're not in my deleted either. Will the program just delete files when you're running out of space? This is extremely frustrating. Hours of work gone. 

I created a new Adobe account last year, as my previous one was through my former workplace. Ever since, I have been unable to access my CC Libraries through Fresco on my iPad. All my other apps (AI, PS, etc), both desktop and mobile versions, can freely create and use assets through my libraries, but Fresco seems to be pointing to a handful of "old" libraries created under my previous account. I cannot access the current libraries no matter how many times I reinstall Fresco, log out and in, or any number of "weird tricks" I've tried to get Fresco on board with the other apps.Over this past year, I have spent numerous hours on the phone and chat with different Adobe Help techs, who ask me to jump through the basic troubleshooting steps ad nauseum, only to promise to "contact me later" with a solution (which never comes). This post is a desperation move.I'm hoping someone has had a similar issue that they have a solution for, or is more familiar than Adobe Help Techs with how Fresco and

Straight lines? No help for that.Wanna use Shift/etc to control the shape you're adding? This isn't CS6 sir.I really want to like this app, to play with it the way I can with photoshop but it is the least intuitive, the least useful and a reminder that I'm paying $10 a month for features that I can't use in commercial projects like generative fill.

Can someone please advise:When I try to add from Kyle's brush, it adds the complete set - is there a way to see what is in the pack and selectively load the ones that I need to add to my Fresco instead of dumping all the brushes?

I've downloaded Fresco on my iPad, once I sign in it works normally, but if I ever close the app by swiping up and try to open it again it crashes. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I loaded a photo in a brand new painting in PC. Then opened it in Ipad. The photo was already converted to pixel, which I had not asked.As a pixel layer, I am not able to use it as artboard.Any fix for this please?
