Fresco

Hello,    Fresco keeps crashing on load on Windows 11 on HP Spectre. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and reloading Creative Cloud but I have the same issue. I haven't had it work yet.    Any thoughts?  Thanks,  Freyja    [Renamed by Mod]

Hello there,I've open Fresco today and I've lost all my library brushes 😞 And of course now neither all my favourite brushes are visible. How can I do? I have already tried with changing permission as explained here https://helpx.adobe.com/it/fresco/kb/imported-pixel-brushes-access-issue.html but it didn't solve it. Thank you in advance!

Hi, Since few weeks fresco is crashing continuously chen I try to open a document or create a new one. I can open the app, but I stuck on the home page because when I when to open something it crash (even with the tutoral document). I alrready try to reinstall the app, but the probleme is the same. And it start with the 4.7.1 version, the 4.8 update didn't solve the problem.Do you have any through to solve this ?

Hello All,I am recently new to Adobe Fresco and need some help. When using the live brushes I get grid lines and I am unable to remove them. Can someone please help me out with this issue? 

I added the Gouache brush pack and it shows in my Library Brushes as having 41 brushes, but the pack won't open.I tried removing and re-adding the pack, restarting Fresco, etc. but nothing has any effect.I successfully added, opened, and used the Dry media brush pack, so it seems to be an issue with the Gouache pack.Anyone else able to add and open the Gouache brush pack? What to do? 

Many years ago (in 2006) Adobe licenced the wonderful (watercolor and ink) brush engines of Nelson Chu, creator of the incredible paint app Expresii (expresii.com). But Adobe never put these algorithms, which are based on real physics maths, to use – not until Adobe Sketch, where they implemented the Yuibi brush engine. That's why Sketch's brushes were so dynamic and wonderful to work with. But they left out the amazing MoXi watercolor engine that Expresii uses, which renders Fresco's watercolor ridicolous in comparison. They also left out the great Youji rendering engine, which obliviates pixelation when zooming in. And then when ditching Sketch, they also ditched the single best thing about that app – the brush engine, in favour of the normal, boring, static brush technology we've already had for decades now. One have to ask why? Hi! I´m using an XP Pen tablet and the issue also persists when using my mouse. Whenever I want to move something I´ve selected there's no easy way to move it always scales my selection never giving the ability to move. The only option I have is to use the cursors and it can take up to 10 minutes moving from one side of the canvas to the other. Issue persists nearly every time. Can we separate the scale and move options just like the liquify ,distort tool etc or am I doing something wrong? Thanks

I've been using Adobe Fresco on an iPad mini 5 / iPad OS 15.7.1 to make astronomical sketches while viewing through a telescope. Attached are two files, sketches of M8 the lagoon nebula.One file is a capture of my screen as I see it when working in Fresco, made with my phone of the iPad screen.The second file is what the exported file looks likein Photoshop on my MacBook (or indeed when viewed with any other device, or uploaded to the internet)I have tried viewing with other color profiles, tried adjusting levels in layers - nothing matches the sketch as it looked to me when I made it in the iPad.

The color margin tool in Fresco will not let me click on it to get rid of the fill problem I'm having where there is a small white space in between the fill color and the outline.  I've seen a bunch of videos instructing users to use this tool to fix this problem but it's not working for me 😞

I have uninstalled and reinstalled my app, connected to different networks, tried earlier versions of Fresco, updated my graphics driver, and allowed Adobe Creative Cloud through my firewall. I also have plenty of storage space. However the app continuously crashes during the loading screen of opening a document (even a new document that is not on the cloud). Illustrator still works so I believe this is solely an issue with Fresco, this has been happening for the past week. Thanks

Can someone explain - how does Fresco even continue to work without cloud sync? It's a fundamental part of how the app functions. I pay a premium for cloud storage. When I draw something, Fresco takes it off my iPad and syncs it to the cloud whether I want it to or not. I don't get a say in this process. If I want to edit that drawing in 6 months, Fresco pulls it down from the cloud and opens it. I think only the "Recent" files are stored locally, temporarily.So if Adobe is discintinuing cloud sync services... I mean, can I even download a hundred files locally, if Fresco will only hold onto a dozen recent files? Sure, I could export PDF backups to a drive, but that just rescues the art, it doesn't solve where my actual Fresco project files live, and how I get them back onto the glass in the future?  As I create more work in 2024 does it just save locally? And when I run out of local storage, how do I backup a Fresco project file so that I can still work with it in the future

I've been having this issue for a little while now that has completely locked me out of being able to use Fresco. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, installed the previous version of the app available (v4.6.0), I have tried running it as administrator, I have turned off my firewall, I've made sure Adobe Creative Cloud was synced, and so far nothing has made it work. I have also now used the Log Collector tool so hopefully help but right now I'm at a loss for what to do so I can actually use this software again.

Hi, I was wondering how we could put layers into folders in Adobe Fresco. 

The app is crashing at the most unexpected moments. For example, I was using the app because I need to complete an art assigned by my art teacher. In the middle of my drawing, the app suddenly crashes. This is the second time this has happened. Why is this happening? None of my other apps crash. Is it my iPad's problem or the app's problem? Please fix this issue as soon as possible. This crashing issue is getting more and more frustrating.

 I would like to be able to adjust the order of the tools in the tool bar.I wish Fresco would work consistantly with the "button" on my iPencil to switch between the last wo tools I have used.

Hello everyone,I've been working on a digital drawing project for the past two months using Adobe Fresco on my iPad 9th generation. I reached the final stage of the project, but unfortunately,when I was almost done, the application suddenly crashed and exited completely.  Upon reopening the app, I was devastated to discover that all my work had vanished. While the layers remained, the entire content had disappeared. I've tried to check for backup history and reached out to customer support, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to recover my project. This project holds significant importance to me, and losing it has been quite disheartening. If anyone has experienced something similar or knows of any potential solutions, I would greatly appreciate your help. I've already explored options like checking the trash, looking for automatic backups, and reaching out to support again, but without success. Any advice, suggestions, or insights would be immensely valuable. I was working on an art peice that has text in it and I wanted to use Photoshop to handle my text placement because quite frankly the Fresco Text stuff is terrbile. I needed map out the art along side the text before I spent hours and hours doing detail work that might need to me changed to accomidate text. So I had the basic outlines and color blocks in for the art all using layers made 100 percent in Fresco. Nip over to Photoshop and work out where the text is going and how it will layout. Back to Fresco to go back to the art and OH NO all my layers art not one photoshop layer. All but two of these were made in Fresco and I did not edit them AT ALL in Photoshop  I can't even up group them never mind actually work on them. No idea what triggers this. For the love of god someone please fix this. This is not the two programs working together as we were promised. The only way I have found to even save my hours of work on the art is to now revert back to the previous version and lose

HiI'm currently on iphone and i can't find motion feature anywhere.Could you explain or show me by using screenshot where i can find it, or perhaps there is no such feature on mobile version? 

Hi. I was working on a drawing today when my screen suddenly went black. I assumed it must be some sort of lag so i exited out of my draawing and went back in. When it loaded back in I saw all of my hours of progress from today had been wiped. The layers i drew on remained, but their contents were gone. I closed the app and launched it again but the layers remained empty. I searched adobe support for any possible explanation as to what may have happened and saw that users from 2020 and 2022 were also experiencing this bug. I'm absolutely devestated about my loss of progress, is there any possible way to get it back at all?

Say i have a line art which consists of 2 layers.I created a third layer for coloring purpose.I would like to use fill tool to get the base colors on the third layer, but it seems that the fill tool do not consider contents on other layers. Where is the setting for fill tool?How can i set it to consider multiple layer?

Dear Fresco Community, I'm trying out Fresco for the first time and been using Procreate before. It's important for my workflow to have outlines on one layer and colors on another. Is there a way or workaround to fill the colors with the bucket tool on a seperate layer? In Procreate it is the reference layer setting but I cant find anything similar.Thanks in adavance!

I’m considering using pixel pens in Adobe Fresco for my artwork. Could you please let me know what sizes I can print my drawings without compromising the quality? Specifically, I’m interested in printing images at dimensions of 70x100 cm. Will they still look good at that size? Thank you. 

Hello, hopefully someone will be able to helo me with this.  Sometimes when I create a file in Fresco and export to pdf or use "Open a copy...illustrator desktop" the file open, but is destroyed. Check out the issue herein case the pics don't load. The first image shows the art work in Fresco, perfectly fine. The second shows what the pdf looks like when opened in Illustrator. The third is a screenshot of the pdf file from the finder. Its like the layers were clipped somehow. I've also tried exporting as a psd and and expanding the vector smart objects. I ran into the same issue. Is anyone else experiencing this? What is a solution? Thanks for your help. I'm using Fresco 4.6.1 on a 2016 Ipad ProDesktop - Mac Studio macOS Ventura Version 13.3.1Illustrator: 27.6.1
