Please fix the way Replace footage works so that when you look to replace a file, the window opens TO WHERE THAT FILE IS CURRENTLY LOCATED!!!!!!!!!!!!
A node based environment, should be implemented esp for basic tasks like applying the same effect to multiple layers, alpha mattes, value parenting (like the current pick whip in the expression options), Anything that you can currently do using an adjustment layer (but would be selective), I'm sure many more uses. You could use it in tandem with the layer system, but would be an easy way to do these kind of tasks without copying and editing multiple instances of the same thing.
I'm on Mac (M1 Max with 64 GB RAM) , and RAW display performance is really painfully slow, about 1.5 s for a random jump in Raw mode. Adobe asks me for years what to improve, and I would just like to point them to (relatively cheap) competition:Meet FastRawViewer, which displays images directly from RAW within fractions of a second has useful helper functions to quickly check focus plane and sharpness and also allows to quickly inspect highlights and shadows In combination, this speeds up image culling to less than half the time it needs in LR. I would expect these from the software company with the biggest development budget in the industry. Lightroom was the only tool I used to use. Now I use other tools for key processes, like FastRawViewer for culling and DXO Pure Raw for developing.
Premier should have a script, where you can build your own export infrastructure. Let say you want to export Video, OMF, EDl and XML, AAF all at once, or just select two of them. You can set up your own export work flow, you select what order it executes the export and in which settings, you can selects it to export each video or audio track in a EDL and then export a QT, giving the user to set up a master export workflow.
Hello, In the Export settings page for Premiere Pro, I am only able to view a single rollout at a time. In other words, I can view the Video settings, or I can see the Audio settings. I'm not permitted to see them both at the same time. This is incredibly poor UX. I need to see all of the settings at a glance. If stuff is hidden away, I will export without knowing what settings I will get. It's super error-prone.My only recourse is to manually open and close every rollout. This is a waste of my valuable production time.If the design intention here is to streamline the interface to reduce clutter, may I suggest that users be permitted to decide what they want to see and when. Hiding stuff automatically takes the power away from users and is a productivity killer. This is not a trivial request. It is an important UX consideration. Please restore the ability to open multiple rollouts at the same time.Thank you
Premier should have a function where you can compare two or multiple timelines with each other. Let's say you are working with alternative edits in different formats, it would be great to compare if each video, graphics and audio or if there is a diffence, so that you can see if anything has accidentally moved. A function to set a master timeline which it then highlights the differences against. Like in word where you can compare the differences in a text.
I make 360 video. I experiemented with several video editors and I have to say Premiere pro handled and rendered it much better than anything else I tried, brilliant ...except fror one major flaw. Like most people I aim to post my videos on youtube. Youtube have an option of First Order Ambisonics with Head-Locked Stereo, Why can't premiere pro do this, It can do First Order Ambisonics but can't do it with Head-Locked Stereo. Adobe at very least should be fulfilling best options for posting on youtube, it shouldn't come in as failing compared to others. I want ambisonics gor effects but not on the main part of my main audio, I want that fixed. Anyone offer any solutions? I've seen one YT video but it was stupid fliddly and I didn't get it to work. Any idea when Premiere will actually catch up with others on this please?
Can Premiere make these subtitles automatic?https://www.youtube.com/shorts/LRzFJ3ExEmY Like a www.submagic.co
In my Adobe Premiere Pro Audio Previews folder, I often find many empty folders for older versions of my projects. Where I work, many of our editors are off-site and do not remote in, so I have to keep multiple drives and projectsx reconciled so we don't lose anything important. Is there a way for Premiere to stop making these folders unless it needs it?
[This is a reiteration of the Idea at this URL: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/peak-files-generating-without-priority/idc-p/14967972#M17609] Please make Premiere prioritize building audio waveforms (.pek files?) for the sequence I'm working in, maybe even for the part of the sequence where my playhead is. As an Assistant Editor, there have been many times when I've needed to see the waveforms for a section I'm working in (i.e., to see where two clips might sync together; to see where a sentence starts & ends, etc.). There are many work situations where I'll need to move to a different computer on which the .pek files will need to be rebuilt. In a big project with tens of thousands of source clips, it is frustrating to see, in the bottom right corner, a progress bar saying that Premiere is busy building a .pek file I don't need rather than prioritizing the .pek files I need right now. This can be especially frustrating when a producer or director is sitting next to me and thinks I don't know what I'm doing because I'm not able to work as fast as I would if the waveforms were available.
Currently, I don't use the A.I. features that use the .prin file. However, even when I will start doing so, it'd be nice for it to not be next to my project file, as I like to keep my project file folder really uncluttered so it's real easy for my colleagues to know which version of a project is my current version. Could Premiere maybe put .prin files in:/Users/[user]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/PRIN Files
It's become fairly common use now having Transcriptive and Captioning in Premiere Pro. Beginning this year our team is supposed to now also use Descriptive Video Service (DVS), also known as Second Audio Program (SAP) which provides enriched verbal descriptions of what is heard and seen on a TV's primary audio and video channels. Will Premiere have an AI feature in the near future that will do this? Otherwise this could be quite time consuming as an editor to do this for every video. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
I use Google drive to upload files to send to clients. I thought as I'm paying for Adobe cloud why not use that instead. Little did I know that you can't do that. Why not allow people to drag and drop a file into a folder and then let them send a link to the client to download. Very simple. i never use Adobe cloud. I understand it's so you can work on projects remotely. Well that's fun when you've got a massive Premiere Pro project with all the assets and you want to work on it on the side of the mountain and your internet speed is dire. 40 years later and you managed to put in a dissolve. Anyway, please think about what I've said. I pay for your space but never use it, because it doesn't work for me in the way you've set it up.
See above!! So if I create a text layer and then duplicate and move it and then take text from PSD, want the option like I have in all the other apps, to be able to drop that new text content but take the text box settings in AE, NOT keep the settings from PSD. Thanks!
This would be a total gamechanger and completely change my workflow: the ability of applying filters such as Camera Raw or a simple Gaussian Blur to an adjustment layer would save so much time- talking about this given the new Clarity/Remove fog/Noise/Temperature-tint adjustment layers update that's been announced on Instagram. It's something the competence (Affinity Photo) does have and it's amazing. As for how it'd work- it would probably have to be just a "Smart Filter Adjustment Layer" which applies to all the layers below (something similar to After Effects)- same thing for previsualization of the effect, all the layers below. Live changes would be amazing. This would probably consume a lot of cpu so, in that case, it could be added as something optional to activate in preferences if you have a good PC/Mac. Would LOVE to see this happen.
I'd really like more control over what is and isn't hidden. Right now it's show everything or show nothing. It's so annoying, especially when doing anything with character rigging or Collapse Transformations, that I see a bewildering amount of boxes around every signle object. Just a little toggle like the shy guy to show/hide layer controls for a specific layer.
I would like to use Adobe Cloud as emergency, 4th redundant, offsite backup solution. I do have the 1TB plan, but that is not enough for my RAW files, I don't want to pay more and I don't have the upload capacity for that anyway. What is realistic is pushing lossy compressed dngs to the cloud, as a last resort they still have great quality and are very small and quick enough to upload with my slow third world (Germany) connection. The current system is very cumbersome to use, I have to duplicated my photos into lossy dng, have them recognized with LR classic so it won't redownload them and upload them with LR CC. In the end all my photos are there twice in Classic and the cloud, showing up double when I search for things. No sync between original files and lossy backup. It's just not practical. What would be practical would be an option to chose how to sync per collection, if it should upload the originals, smart previews, lossless dng or lossy dng. Like LR Classic is doing at the moment (with smart previews or originals), just more options and a menu to chose what to do. Would be so much more practical and useful.
1. Please add button to delete font style button (deleting from Explorer taking long time)2. In Premiere 2017 this function is working and it was comfy.
Hello everyone, I am editing a project with another director - and we initially started marking our footage with clip markers. We have however now worked out that this is problematic. So, instead of watching the footage all over again - we would simply like to copy and drag our clip markers - and turn them into sequence markers instead. So does anyone know if there is a way to move clip markers and make them into timeline/sequence markers? Many thanks Ross
