Please? Session saving?Open for Voting

I believe it was Photoshop 3.0 when tabs were introduced. It was so nice being able to manage multiple images in a simple way. Since I've seen people ask over the years for a couple of things which I think would be very nice and shouldn't be too difficult now. So it's my turn I guess to ask.  1.) Can we get a Save Session function? I know there's been a lot of discussion about a Save All function which usually comes down to - "what if I accidentally made edits to images being used as source material that I forgot about? If I save all and close up, when I come back I will realize I torched those images!" At the same time, when I have a lot of images and image parts open at one time and I need to walk away real quick, all I can do is save them all using a workaround, or walk away with everything up and running and come back to it later. Neither works well and over 22-23 years as images get more complex I think it's finally time for a solution that can allow us to quickly exit without losing, or committing to the work already done. As it is, the images already up are in a cache. Could we not get a button or menu item to simply preserve that cache as a session? This would be so incredibly nice! I could be in the middle of something and have someone bring something to me that is urgent for whatever reason, and rather than put more weight on the system or spend time leaving what I'm working on to switch gears, I could simply click file>Save session, give it a name and drop it in a folder, and.......OK. Maybe a checkbox to "Close this sessoin after saving?" and then on to other things. Then when I want to come back to it, I can. Even better, When it comes to long detailed projects, I've been through times when I gathered files from a number of places and then later didn't save them all together or remember exactly where I got them. Or if I did, sometimes the image wasn't there. But with this, all of those images would be right there in the same file right as I left them. I wouldn't have to recreate the session every time I needed to work on a project until it was comletely done. And then later if I wanted to I could decide on a session by session basis which ones I wanted to delete. I have no idea how much time this would have saved me over the years but I'm sure that it could ve counted in weeks. The state is already capable of being written or hibernate wouldn't work. I don't see any real barriers to this. 🙂

Consistency between Effect Controls and PropertiesOpen for Voting

There needs to be some consistency between the effects controls panel and the properies panel. I'd argue that should extend to the Transform effect as well. Properties lists position, anchor, scale, rotation, opacity, LINEBREAK, crop. Effects controls under the motion heading has position, scale, rotation, anchor, crops, LINEBREAK, opacity. The Transform effect has anchor, position, scale, skew, etc....so anchor point comes before position. That is just confusing. Personally I would move anchor point lower in the stack in the properties panel to match the effect controls panel. Honestly I think it's silly to even have anchor point in the properties panel as opposed to say blend mode. You didn't include uniform scaling controls in the properties panel, so why anchor point?  Also in the effect controls, the crops are listed right below anchor point and not seperated by a line break...but in Properties they are seperated and despite there being ample room in the UI, it just says "Left", "Top", etc. The properties panel always looks ridiculously padded with empty space where as the effect controls are condensed. There is plenty of room to just have the properties panel list "Crop Left" and remove that uneccessary line break.  As an aside...why not just merge the Transform effect with the crop effect? Things are getting pretty disjointed lately.

Create Adobe Specific DevicesOpen for Voting

Full disclosure: I'm not super computer savvy, so if this sounds completely ludicrous, I would like to know WHY so I can learn.  Now, I don't know if this has been brought up ever or if it's even feasible, but that's why it's an idea, right? I also didn't feel like scouring through zillions of posts to figure it out... Why doesn't Adobe either collaborate with someone or just develop Adobe specific devices? In other words, create a device, whether it's a laptop, PC, or tab, that is fully optimized for program usage. I feel like I'm always reading how photoshop causes crashes or runs slowly etc., even though the person's device is supposed to be compatible. That way, whenever Adobe decides to do an update, there's no fluctuation in quality or multiple bugs to fix over however many platforms or systems people are using; everything just updates as one. Personally, I usually use Photoshop with plugins and camera raw to edit my workflow and just running photoshop alone takes up most of my memory or creates other problems in which I am subjected to the surprise BSOD and losing my progress. Lightroom is more "user-friendly" but still can be just as confusing, I feel. Adobe could also include easier tutorials within the device and a help system that uses more beginner-friendly vocabulary.  If they wanted to keep the subscription service, they could do so within the device or, for those who already are subscribers, just log in and go. The device could also include the availability of plugins for other editing software, as it already does.   For me, it's been extremely frustrating that after doing a ton of research on the compatibility of adobe programs with various laptops and pcs, purchasing one that supposedly was deemed "compatible", then trying to utilize photoshop only to have it cause BSOD and constantly run slow during. This might be an issue with my internal system or whatever, but I feel like lately I'm spending less time getting work done and more time trying to figure out how I can optimize my laptop to run more efficiently with Photoshop. I do know there are other editing programs out there and have tried MANY of them. However, in my experience, each program has a very limited number of tools that are comparable to Photoshop. Therefore, I always find myself going back to be able to produce a more "quality" image.
