When I use e.g. HSL in Adobe Premiere Pro for color corrections, I grab the color with an eyedropper and can use the plus and minus buttons to define which color I want to include and which I want to exclude. Sometimes I end up with a selection that I am more dissatisfied with than the previous one. Now I want to use the undo function, with Ctrl Z as usual. But that doesn't work. I can only use + and -. I would like to have Undo for the pipette.
I typically alternate between 4x6 and 4x5 cropping. It would be great if we could set up a custom shortcut key for switching between the two. This would greatley speed up my workflow as I am editing hundreds of images on a daily basis!
How do I adjust the length of an audio transition on a wav file in timeline premiere with multiple tracks.
Sometimes I just need to throw some text on a screen as a temporary measure; a lower third, an ADR line, a missing shot, a VFX number, subtitles, those kinds of things -- and most of the time I don't need the heavy firepower of an advanced (and amazing) motion graphics app. I find that inserting any text into most of my projects, even just a few words in the default font, can bog down my playback performance, which is frustrating. When I turn the text track off, playback is fine. When I turn it on, it gets choppy. I know this would be an extremely non-fancy, low-fi tool, but I would LOVE to have an option of a simple text tool as a seperate function of Premiere for these kinds of low-fi needs. All I need is a few lines, the ability to adjust size and position, a font, color and opacity option -- I don't even need keyframes of any kind! Just some letters on the screen. Or if something like this already exists -- please do tell! Thanks for hearing me out!! Josh
Hi there, could you please add the same renaming options to the DNG-Export on iPad as on Desktop? More options (the same as in Classic) are welcome and requested, but feature-parity between the different Cloud-based-solutions is the baseline (JPG-Export is fine and has renaming options). Cheers Guido
I am often warned before rendering that individual clips are offline and may be rendered with the proxies. I would like to have a button that highlights all media in the timeline that are offline, e.g. with a small red flag.In Adobe After Effects, I can right-click on a medium in the project window to find out in which compositions this medium was used. I would also like this for Premiere Pro in relation to the timeline.
Hi everyone! I know there are plugins and other solutions out there, but wouldn´t it be great if we had a built in option for exporting with burned in safe margins? It would be a great solution to have for some internal processes regarding technical reviews. Thank you!
I vote to ADD the ability in Preferences to have White and Lt gray Workspace Panels instead of just Black. *spent most of career indoors on computers... Now I can workdoors...but can't see the screens in daylight! Should be an easy fix for software engineers ...not as exciting with alll the new AI stuff but please don't forget to take care of older software as well, please. Many of us are still using Classic in our daily workflow. So far this is NOT something you can change. Please upsell this request!!
Hey guys I just updated to the latest Premiere and I have lost my mornig trying to figure out the new and "improved" scroll funcionality on the source panel. Before this version the scroll would allow me to scrub throught the footage and easy drop my keyframes as needed, now it completely disconfigures the size of my window and if i want to scrub I have to drag my mouse to the bottom in order to do this which means more time consumption. This was a terrible idea and I wish that there was a function to revert back to the old way for those of use that prefer it. Extremely frustrating have to re-learn something in the middle of a project. Every editor in the building updated today and we are up in arms about losing our morning over this.
In every other piece of professional audio software I am aware of, I can share effect presets with others by finding the file, such as "giant_reverb.pst" etc., and sending to someone else who drops it in the same place on their computer, or imports, or whatever. In Audition 2018, these seem to be stored in a big single XML file. Can this really be true? Is there no way to share? I just spent all day creating presets to share with a co-worker, but now I find there is no way to share just the relevant presets without sharing the rest. This is a stunning omission IMO, and not realistic for a product that could be used by multiple people in a company, studio, band, etc.
I realize the app is a work in progress. I hope an Alignment feature is in the works. I would think of it as a basic requirement for many.
When recording with DSLR, videos are often shot intending for vertical. But it is saved in-camera as the widescreen orientation. So after importing, user has to manually Rotate to 90° (or -90, etc). Feature Request:Please add a 1-click "Auto-Orient Video" command in the right-click context menu for clips in timeline. What it should do:Analyze current frame (or entire clip) and update the Rotation property to 90°, 180°, or 270°.Bonus points for a Preference under Prefs > Media for "Automatically Auto-Orient Clips".--Premiere Pro Beta has updated the Fit to Frame/Fill Frame workflow (these are great improvements to the legacy Scale vs. Set to Frame). This feature request would further enhance this workflow, for projects where users mix clips of odd aspect ratios and filming formats like vertical.
I use pretty much the same basic tools in all my images. I would LOVE to be able to save personalized favourites in a top bar or something, for example different "dodge brush sizes" and just click on those directly the next time, instead of clicking through the menu, size, opacity and so on. This would save so much time! (unless there is one and I have missed it?)
First of all I know there are Ripple sequence markers and Copy and Paste includes sequence markers checkboxes in the Markers menu. They somehow don't work in my cases. Before doing the editing job I always make a barebone project in order to send it to a client via the frame.io. Every part of the barebone has markers with explanations and different info. Then when I start editing I may move the whole project within the timeline, rearrange different parts of it. At this point the markers I have previously placed onto the timeline never change their position with the corresponding parts of the sequence. This mechanism of linking the markers to the footage is either broken or it needs to be redone. So with every material rearrangement I always have to move the corresponding markers by hand as well. May this be fixed? Premiere Pro 24.6.1See the video
Hey there, please hear my wish!!!I'm currently editing a large documentary, and I've received six projects from three different editors. Now, I'm in the process of importing these six projects into a master project. The problem is that some of the editors have very disorganized folder structures, and when I import certain sequences, it creates a lot of confusion. My idea: You can open two projects simultaneously and then copy a sequence into another project. It would be great if, before copying, Premiere could first check if the media already exists in the project before importing it again and creating duplicates. The same applies to importing an entire project. Other editing programs, like Resolve, handle this well.Thank you!
It would be great if the Magic Wand's right-click could have access to "content-aware fill" and "Generative Fill".I have no issues switching to the Marquee (M) or Laso Tool (L). But again like I said, it would be nice for a friend. If it is too complicated throw my idea in the trash.
For some reason the 'Source Text' in After Effects is so much more than source text. It contains all kinds of parameters such as Paragraph Alignment (which is not source text imho). Anyway, when generating Soure Text with an expression, the Paragraph Alignment is fixed to Align Left, and can not be switched as long as the Expression is active. Please repair that, or make that setting accessible through Expressions.
I'd love to see a "Text control" option for expression effects, where it would add a blank text box in the effects panel that a user could enter text in to be used in expressions, along with properties for text layers for things like font, alignment, leading, etc. that could be controlled via scripting.
That's it 🙂 In the Libraries, I need a refresh button as sometimes the things aren't syncing and I don't know what's wrong.

Hello! My idea is that the files can be configured for a certain type of action, such as that you can print the number of times that the author wants, that way you put an end to indiscriminate copying and piracy.Everyone who obtains a license will take care of their file to be able to print with their license until the file has no more number of prints.I send you a kind greeting, thank you very much! Just allow Auto settings and mask update for multiple photos on the mobile app. Instead we have to use touch marcos to automate the process.
I use voice-to-text transcriptions for interviews and Premiere always separates the transcriptions into arbitrary timecode "paragraphs" which I then have to manually merge. With long interviews, it is incredibly annoying and time consuming to go back and re-merge these paragraphs to make the interview text look coherent. Please include an option BEFORE transcribing to not break up the text and just make it one long paragraph per speaker.
